It was not only well-prepared, but 150+ people got exactly what they ordered, and the service was friendly and efficient. Couldn't have asked for a better team with a special shout out to Ian who made the magic happen all day and Daniela who took wonderful care of the bridal party. Everyone was fantastic: so friendly, helpful, and made sure everyone felt special and taken care of. They made the whole day run smoothly, so we could just relax and enjoy the party. Went to a wedding here over the summer. The ceremony area was very beautiful. Sunset was in the perfect area for photos. The cocktail hour was extremely spacious outside. Lots of seating so you weren't stuck standing. Large bar also. The reception inside was very nice. They do have all the tables a few stairs up and the dance floor below which was a little tough for getting around and back to your table easily. The dance floor was a good size and no one was bumping into each other. Bathrooms were a little small but clean. Valet was great and very quick. read more

This venue is small, the outside wedding faces the sun and at 6:30 we were melting our heels of our shoes sunken into the grass and we were greeted with warm champagne. Did not see anybody coordinating or guiding the guest after the ceremony in order to walk down to the cocktail hour. Cocktail hour is in the back of the building it's kind of woody. When we got into the venue, you are up on a step looking down at the dance floor. They had the bride and groom in the corner where we didn't see them. There was no announcement when they were Entering the dance floor. No one knew when the bride and groom came out, did not notify us when the bride and the father were dancing. We had greens on our plates to start. The main course was plain and sad. Over all I would save your money on this place. read more

Came here for a wedding reception. Beautiful scenic view of the afternoon sun, sunset, and night lights. Guests were allowed to exit a side door entrance to get some air in the grass area if one needed a reprieve from the gathering. The staff were friendly and attentive. Kudos to the employees. The cocktail hour on this day included food from station with cold cuts, cheese, and fruits while other included italian, tex-mex, and bbq. Dinner was 3 course meal that was good. Sea Cliff was the first wedding venue my husband and I toured for our wedding and it was the one we could not stop thinking about. It is not your typical "cookie cutter" venue and it has an intimate charm that is incomparable. We met with Nick the owner during our tour and he instantly made us feel at home. Nick even sent us a handwritten thank you card for touring Sea Cliff, and for us, that sealed the deal for us in booking them for our April 2022 wedding. During the pandemic, Nick and his staff (Ian, Donna, etc.) were so responsive to any and all of our questions and I never felt like I was being a nuisance to them. They all reassured us that our wedding would be the best day ever and they all definitely calmed my nerves. In preparation for the wedding, we attended a tasting held at Sea Cliff that allowed us to better fine tune our menu based on our wants and needs (be ready to get full). THE FOOD AT SEA CLIFF IS INCREDIBLE. Many of our guests have told us that Sea Cliff served the most delicious food they ever had at a wedding hands down. The cocktail hour outside was the highlight, with it being held at outside on the lawn with the sun setting on the water. Many of our guests thought that the food at cocktail hour was the main meal because there was so much food! The service was impeccable and Ian (Maitre D) really put his heart and soul in to making sure that our day went as smoothly as possible. He really made sure that we were able to truly enjoy the day and reminded us to take it all in. Camille (bridal attendant) made sure I always had a drink in hand and she even prepared us plates during cocktail hour to make sure that we were able to at least taste the food served during cocktail hour. She also put together my bustle and made sure that it was always attached so I could easily walk/dance around. From start to finish, our wedding day at Sea Cliff, as cliché as it sounds, was the absolute best day ever. It is a bittersweet feeling knowing that the day is over, but we will have memories to last a lifetime. The venue itself is extremely beautiful but our biggest issue of the night was Camille, the bridal attendant. The problem first arose when we began to set up. My brother wanted us to create the center pieces but Camille seemed to have an issue with that. They also had delicate favors that he wanted out front at the beginning which Camille was seemingly against as well. On her own accord, she started opening his boxes and lifting items out. While she opened one box she took out the centerpiece that he made for the sweetheart table, and pieces came off because of how she handled it. If she would've asked, I am sure he would've explained to her how to take it out of the box. The bridal suite was never given any water, we had to request it and we could not find her when we did so. The suites were also never given food until 3 hours in, it was a good thing that I bought two party platters for both rooms. We also only got food because my brother requested it. Camille told us she would set up certain things but then would randomly call groomsmen and shove it to them to complete. She would also make backhanded remarks about the way that they were running their event, such as repeatedly pointing out how odd it was that they didn't have a DJ before the ceremony started although both of them already explained to her that the DJ would only be for the reception. We wanted to practice a run down of the ceremony but we were told it would be 15 minutes before and that it would be completed indoors. For that reason, the entire bridal party had to remain inside; however guests were already arriving. I, and other members of the party, spoke to Camille several times about preventing guests from coming inside and asking them to sit outside as the bride (understandably) did not want to be seen and we didn't watch guests watching the rehearsal. This was not done as people kept walking in as they were never directed elsewhere. Our sister has a gluten allergy so she asked Camille what was gluten-free. Camille was unaware what that meant so my sister explained. To this, Camille snapped, "if you know what it is, you know what you can eat." The worst offense was at the end of the night. Though the venue was booked until 11 as my brother paid for an additional hour for an after party, Camille was harassing groomsmen to remove their items from the suite so that she could clean. Though it was not 11, when I went upstairs, all the items were tossed on the floor outside in the hallway. I had to gather their belongings and sort them because I didn't want my brother or his wife to deal with that during their wedding day. I spoke to my coworker who also had a relative book Seacliff for their wedding and she shared an unfortunately horrible experience with Camille as well. Weddings are stressful enough as it is, her attitude did not make it any better. The venue itself is pretty standard for weddings - good food options and the servers were all pleasant. From the minute we first met Nick on our tour we knew this venue was a perfect fit. This was our first tour, we saw 3 more venues, and quickly ran back. This place makes you feel like family every step of the way, and they are just amazing to their couples and their families. Ian is a creative genius, and I kind of gave him the creative liberty of setting up some HP decor as he saw fit, and they were above and beyond my expectations. Knowing he was a fan as well absolutely helped. They made my off beat dark, romantic, Harry Potter themed vision come to life. They handled every bump along the way with ease - and I know we ran late for sure. I was very worried and felt sooo bad, but they put me at ease. The food is TO DIE FOR. Cocktail hour was something out of this world. We had so so much food and everything was better than imagined. The outdoor area was gorgeous with the sunset during the ceremony and cocktail hour area. We brought in cake and they gave us a dessert of warm apple cobbler, and we added on the 3 passed desserts, along with the lamb chops for cocktail hour - SO WORTH IT! The room size may be limiting for some with larger guest counts. We had ~115 people but had PLENTY of room to spare. This venue is such a hidden gem - their popularity is growing exponentially, and it is well deserved. Their newly renovated bridal suites, a speakeasy with a covered porch outside the French doors, and gorgeous fireplaces are just some of the recent updates. No carpet in the ballroom either! We booked prior to these updates and were updated pretty regularly along the way. My guests have spoken very highly of the service, food & drinks, and their amazing staff. They made sure my mother who has serious back and leg/mobility issues was comfortable the whole night. I will recommend them forever to anyone and am so happy to have worked with them. read more

My son and his bride had their wedding here on June 12 and I have to say - it was incredible! Camille, the bridal attendant was on top of everything. She made sure hair and makeup ran smoothly and delivered much appreciated crudite to the bridal suite to keep us satiated and happy! Our Maître d was Ian and if I could I'd take him home with me! So attentive, full of fun, and runs a tight ship with his service staff. And when I say a "tight ship" I mean he has EVERY SINGLE server and bartender indoctrinated in the fun! Not only were they ridiculously attentive (when returning from the dance floor waters were always filled) but they were crazy fun and it totally felt that your wedding was the most joyful one they've ever been a part of. The venue itself is absolutely lovely. Unfortunately it was a rainy day and the cocktail hour had to be inside, but they made it work. The speakeasy has a great vibe, the bridal suite (and adjoined groom suite, which we used as a bridal suite overflow) are well appointed and really pretty, and you can't beat the views for a sunset! The venue itself is beautiful and you'll get the most beautiful pictures. The staff is so attentive! They are also so nice! Ian made sure we had everything we wanted for our wedding and was so sweet leading up to the wedding and so professional the day of to make sure everything went smoothly! Nick, the owner, was so accommodating! He worked with us to make sure we had everything we wanted without breaking the bank! Are you going to spend a lot of money? Sea Cliff--Sea for Yourself The historic Sea Cliff Manor offers a spectacular opportunity to enjoy the romance and unique beauty of Long Island. We attended a wedding over a year ago at this property, and I finally had to sit down and write this review since the day we spent at Sea Cliff has lasted forever in my memory. Sea Cliff is not only a picture-perfect spot for a wedding venue (so picture-perfect, in fact, it is easy to forgive the zooming traffic in front of it), it is staffed with a professional and friendly team. The management must treat the staff right since they appear cheerful, well-mannered, and seem like they actually love (not like) working at the establishment. As it turns out, a number of the staff members have a long tenure with Sea Cliff, which is a tell-tale sign that the management are excellent leaders and not micromanaging, power-hungry bosses. Lastly, the food was out-of-this-world. I've traveled all over the U.S., and I must say, the Sea Cliff menu is on my top-10, actually, top-5 best list. From appetizers to desserts, there wasn't one food item that I can't say wasn't excellent. Goes without saying, Sea Cliff is excellent in every way. read more

I truly can't say enough good things about Sea Cliff Manor. We chose this venue when we were living in Virginia, so we did a virtual tour and even through Zoom, Nick immediately made us feel like family. They were so helpful and responsive in answering all of our questions throughout the process when we asked about different logistics in the event space. The bridal suite and groomsmen suite were updated maybe a month or so before our wedding and looked absolutely stunning for pictures. Ian, the maitre'd, was INCREDIBLE and helped us with so many specifics. He called to check in the week of the wedding just to see how I was feeling and if there was anything he could do, and the day of the wedding was so helpful and just a delight. The bridal attendant was just a doll and so helpful throughout the entire day and evening, including helping to bustle my complicated dress, helping me use the bathroom, and making sure me and my husband were eating. Food was delicious and creative; guests kept talking about how delicious it was, particularly cocktail hour. I can't recommend this venue enough for anyone who wants to feel like they are with family. We already can't wait to go back to visit and say hi! Definitely has a smaller size cap than some (I think around 195 is the max) - but if this fits your vision, don't even hesitate for a second with Sea Cliff! LOVE! read more

I feel every bride should love there venue and deserves there dream wedding. My husband and I were fortunate enough to get married on one of the most beautiful days of the year, September 27th 2019. From beginning to end the Seacliff manor gave us our dream wedding. We worked so closely with the owner Nick and his maitre D, Ian since the day we booked. We had a vision and they made that vision a reality. We arrived early to take pictures on the grounds and across the street to get some water and sunset shots. Our bridal attendant, Camille surpassed our expectations as she was on top of everything for my husband and I. We were never without a drink or food. She checked in with us constantly and made sure we were taken care of the entire night. Our guests were immediately greeted with champagne upon exiting there cars and greeted to the gorgeous setup of the cocktail hour. The fire pits were burning surrounded by there gorgeous outside lighting. The lounge area just added to the beautiful ambiance. The food at the stations were to die for along with the passed hor douvrs which just kept on coming! My husband and I could hear our guests positive reactions. Nick and Ian were circulating around making sure everything was done to perfection. The servers were accommodating and beyond professional. This presence carried through into our reception. The waitstaff was top notch. They took orders and served our guests happily and with such pride. The food knocked anything we had ever had out of the ball park. We weren't served you're typical catered food but fresh to order meals. The filet Mignon could be cut with a fork, the chicken option was a hit, and the sea bass melted in your mouth. Our guests dishes were wiped clean. The feedback we received was remarkable and it is a salute to the Seacliff manor. The bar had no lines and they also refilled drinks as needed at the table. All our guests raved about the passed desserts which we opted to do instead of a Viennese hour. Attended the wedding of a very special couple here this past weekend. Situated in a historic house overlooking Sea Cliff Harbor, the setting is lovely for an intimate wedding. Cocktail hour was held on the grass under tents, perfect for a warm June day. There were about a dozen chafing dishes and a carving station where the cheerful servers were happy to help. Additional small bites were passed throughout. Definitely better than most catering fare. The breeze coming off the water was comforting and views were stunning. The reception area has a very cozy feel, hardwood floors and a hearth I imagine adds warm ambience in cooler temps. The staff were all friendly and accommodating; the bar served top shelf libations (Grey Goose was standard vodka pour, appreciated!) Tables were preset with a tasty mesclun salad, pasta aglia e ollio was simple and delicious, a sharp bite of shaved Peccorino added a nice kick. Dinner was a choice of Filet Mignon (prepared to individual's choice of temp) Chicken Marsala and Tilapia. Everyone enjoyed their choices at my table, the tilapia was a generous portion with heaping smashed red potatoes and steamed baby veggies accompanying. Again, better than catering fare in all aspects. The cake looked amazing, but I didn't leave the dance floor long enough to partake. As someone who plans events often, despises "factory" facilities where multiple events are concurrent, solid recommendation for a small (125 maximum is my guess) affair in a charming setting and a day to remember. read more

Sea Cliff Manor is absolutely stunning and a hidden gem. I had my Bridal Shower Brunch on a warm June afternoon and my guest and I can't stop raving about this venue overlooking the sparkling Sea Cliff harbor and mouthwatering food. Since this was a brunch we had a magnificent spread of breakfast and lunch options. Our cocktail hour was held outside on there exquisite grounds overlooking the Sea Cliff Harbor. It was a picture perfect scenery for all of our bridal party pictures. The cocktail spread included homemade muffins, quiche pies (which were to die for), fruit platter, hummus platter, bagels, and passed hors d'oervres which included my absolute favorite coconut shrimp. Our main course included buffet options of Salmon with chopped pineapples and mangos, chicken francaise, steak in a demi glaze sauce, homemade waffles, crisp breakfast potatoes and an omelette station with many yummy toppings. Every single dish that I had was definitely not restaurant type of food. It was HOMEMADE food, the type that my own family would cook. Everything was fresh, hot, and very savory. Drinks were all top liquor and every different cocktail I had such as pina coladas, cosmos, mimosas, were all made perfectly tasty. Our cake and Italian pastries were way more then I even pictured it could ever look like. The cake looked like it should belong on cake boss (please see picture if you don't believe me) the flavor was out of this world. Ian and his staff were friendly, attentive, and treated my guest like family. Ian was our maitre' d and he ensured that everything we wanted was impeccable for our party and made sure the entire event ran smoothly. He is truly one of a kind and I know anyone who gets the chance to work with him will see what a superstar he is. My mother asked if Ian could help her set up the decorations and she says he did EVERYTHING PERFECTLY. From placing all of our centerpieces, decorating our candy table, setting up the table numbers and seating cards, decorating the bar and fire place, placing frames all over the venue, light up all of the candles around the venue, and even organizing all of the gifts for a lovely display. He did it all! I can honestly say that all of my family and friends went home with huge smile on their face from the wonderful and unforgettable experience that we had at Sea Cliff Manor. We got married here in December of 2012. CONS: When we booked it the name was Sans Souci and they changed it before our wedding, same owners and management just a different name. They promised the world to us in order to get us to book with them, and they sort of delivered on their promises (they would order a keg, order special wedding cookies- obviously for an additional cost - they also promised to give us an extra hour at the end if the party was going strong for no additional cost). Once we signed we our contract and gave our deposit we were handed over to our maître d', Merrill. As we approached our wedding date, we were told they wouldn't be able to order us the keg or get the cookies, but we were more then welcome to bring those items in, which we did. The day of our wedding Merril was very helpful but didn't go above and beyond. The bathrooms in the Bridal Suite probably haven't been cleaned in about a year - they are gross, the bathrooms downstairs are much better. They seemed to be short staffed for some reason although were the only event of the day. My guest at points had to serve themselves drinks from the bar. The cookies were never put out and the lights were on at the minute our "time was up". Merrill gave us our belongings and didn't let the door hit us on the way out. With all the excitement of the wedding we forgot about the cookies and 2 days later my father called to Merrill a couple times to see if he could pick up the 150 cookies that were dropped off, but Merrill never called back or responded. PROS: Food is delicious and worth every penny as is the top shelf open bar, which is standard that they offer. The location is quaint and beautiful if you can catch the sunset. The Sea Cliff Manor is absolutely, without a doubt, the most amazing wedding venue ever. I got married there last week and I still can't stop raving about them!! From our initial meeting with the owner, Nick, and working with the event manager, Ian, all of the planning for our wedding was easy and seamless. I would send an email, and get a reply in no more than 15 minutes - it was amazing! And, since I planned my wedding from across the country, that kind of communication and ease of planning went a long, long way. I knew that we were in excellent and capable hands with Nick & Ian! The setting is absolutely gorgeous: it's directly across from the water (highly recommend taking some photos over there!) and the front lawn where they host cocktail hours gives you sweeping sunset views. It really is spectacular. Inside is just as beautiful; they even put in a gorgeous new dance floor this year! The bridal suites upstairs are huge, and they even have a bridal attendant to make sure you're taken care of throughout the night. Literally everything about this venue and staff is above & beyond and brilliant - they even took the time to make a few strawberry pies, which is one of my family's most beloved recipes from my grandma, which meant so much to me and my parents. And they had homemade limoncello and coffee for our international coffee bar! I could go on & on & on about how wonderful, thoughtful, attentive, and lovely Nick & Ian and everyone else at Sea Cliff is, and how beautiful and perfect the venue is. I attended a wedding at this venue on June 26- my first wedding at Sea Cliff Manor. I was very disappointed, as were many in my group, w/ the majority of the experience. The ceremony was held outside facing the water. The view was beautifu, but the amount of folks who tripped or got their heels caught in the grass, or who were unable to navigate the uneven surfaces, was unbelievable. At the cocktail hour, TWO people that I know of, fell on the UNIDENTIFIED step in the grey brick area. An apathetic waiter, who didn't even attempt to help, said " that step- somebody always has a problem". As a whole, the food wasn't bad, but the service was sub par. The wait staff were nice enough, but to say their hearts weren't in it, is putting it mildly. It took way too much time to order a drink; at a few points I saw waiters dancing ! while we were waiting for drinks, especially coffee, as well as dessert. Based on the uneven, scary, shoddy surfaces outdoors and the spotty and apathetic service, I would not recommend this venue for one's special day. read more

Everything about our wedding was astoundingly beautiful-- couldn't have had a better experience anywhere else! - [ ] Having incredible service from Ian, the in-house wedding coordinator who there every step of the way was amazing-- he answered all our needs, requests, and questions from not only bride and groom, but also from the parents of the bride! In addition, Ian's presence, guidance, and support the day of our wedding made the day go off unhitched-- his coordination and leadership was so calming and relieving. Additionally, the support and service from Nick and our bridal attendant, Camille, just made the day so calm and perfect. I was astounded by the exceptional service and accommodation from everyone at Sea Cliff-- especially as a nervous bride-- I just had the best day... more than I could have asked for! The venue itself is beautiful! The gorgeous mansion overlooking the water, with blooming June flowers, made an epic outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. The food was PHENOMENAL. Every guest was honestly astounded-- not only at how many options, how much food, and the quality... but how INCREDIBLE everything we ate was! We opted for the seafood boat with lobster and it was one of the best choices we could have made-- every guest *loved* it. It made our event so special and unique-- it was worth getting. Dinner was amazing-- so much food after the cocktail hour-- but guests loved it. The ice cream tartufo was my favorite!!! It made our wedding cake so much more enjoyable. Checked some of the photos from our photographer during the sunset photos... and they are going to be phenomenal. The weather was what caused me the most anxiety, but honestly, it would have been amazing rain or shine. It was evident our money went to our special day-- not just marked up for the sake of the wedding business. Also, being the only wedding on the grounds was so important to us-- it was our day, unlike some other LI venues that have multiple events. This past weekend was our one-year anniversary and we decided to spend it having a special celebration with our closest family and friends at the very place we got married, Sea Cliff Manor. Our Anniversary party exceeded our EVERY expectation from the outdoor set-up and décor, the incredible seafood tower boat, the service, and of course, the amazing food. I would be remiss if I also did not mention the incredible bartender that happened to make some of the best drinks our guests and we have EVER had! Ian went above and beyond to make our night special and to include so many extra special things to remind us of our wedding day one year prior. When I started looking at venues to have my wedding, I had two big problems: 1) I was starting to plan 3 months away from our set date and 2) I was going to have less than 100 guests. I called catering hall upon catering hall and was quoted super high prices, and told I had to guarantee 100 guests. And then...I found Sea Cliff Manor. Of course, I was a little reluctant about this place, considering that the Yelp reviews are from like, 3-5 years ago, and not too great. There was also very little I could find in terms of other people who had their wedding there. My now-husband and I decided to check it out after they offered us a great price and it was love at first sight. We met with Megan who gave us a tour. One thing I can say is that this is NOT a catering hall. It's an old, classic house with such a perfect feel! We saw this venue right as Fall was starting and walking inside to a gorgeous, roaring fireplace, with scents of apples and sights of pumpkins was utterly perfect! We had our wedding 4 days before Christmas and the decor certainly did not disappoint then either - wreaths and garland were everywhere! As a Bride, it made my decorating job so much easier when I found out I was just to be responsible for what was on the tables. As soon as we sat with Megan and went over all the logistics, we were set. I had appointments to see 3 other venues and I called them all to cancel. We didn't want to see any other places. I met with Megan several times prior to the big day and each time, everyone was so helpful and accommodating! One thing I was worried about was the food, since the reviews here were so poor and we didn't do a tasting beforehand. Well, it was TOTALLY unwarranted! Each of my guests raved to me how delicious everything was and seriously? I ordered the Chateau Briand as my entree (Steak. At a wedding. A risky move. I know.)...and it was cooked to perfection! Cocktail hour was great and my guests were in awe of the amount of food provided and selections...I mean, we had probably at least 20-30 different food items to choose from. The bar was great and the wait staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The waitress we had for our bridal suite upstairs was super fun and really fit in so well with our lively atmosphere. During the day-of, Meryl was the one running the show and was so great in coordinating everything with our guests and DJ. I mean, she even got down on the floor with a waitress and helped me bustle my dress after it kept getting loose on me after my bridesmaid's efforts. I cannot write enough positive things about this place! It was so romantic, cozy, and perfect for a wedding. My wedding was here, the place is gorgeous, the food was also great. Why the 2 stars you ask? The management leaves a lot to be desired over here. If you are just a guest at a function, you will love this place and you should give it 5 stars. However at our wedding, the maître d' said hi, then disappeared. At one point we found him in the office doing I don't know what. When we got there at first, we were taking photos outside, and the bride needed something to drink as it was very hot out that day. There was no one from the hall there to even ask if anyone was thirsty, turns out the photographer's assistant had to go inside and get some water. During the wedding the decision was made that we'd add the maître d's gratuity to the photographer's, since basically we did not see this guy at all. He seemed a little too young and much too disinterested in our event. Wish this ended here, but afraid not. Afterward, we realized that they were overpaid by a few thousand. Took MONTHS to straighten that out and get the $ back. And a lot of bs calls from them and broken promises as to when checks were cut etc. Again, the views/place/food are 5 star, but their hiring decisions for management, their accounting practices and their couth are 1 star. read more

Planning a wedding sucks. Planning a wedding during a pandemic is even worse, but Sea Cliff Manor made the entire situation as easy as possible. My husband and I toured SCM in September 2019 and knew from the instant we arrived that we were going to get married there. Without even looking at another venue, we booked and couldn't have been happier. When COVID hit and the world shut down, Nick was so kind and was able to provide us a back up date in case we chose to postpone and didn't increase pricing at all. When we decided to move forward with a 2020 wedding, he and Ian were super supportive and allowed us to change our minimum so as to follow NYS guidelines. Leading up to the day of the wedding, they were very easy to get a hold of and discuss things regarding the wedding. You can tell how much Ian genuinely enjoys his job and how excited he gets over the new things that SCM is putting in place. The day of our wedding couldn't have gone any smoother. Ian was kind enough to open a half hour early so my bridal party could get ready on site. Camille was incredible as a bridal attendant. I was fed and always had a drink available. Nick and Donna were on site the entire night as well overseeing everything. The bartenders and entire waitstaff were absolutely phenomenal. I am so happy I chose to get married at Sea Cliff Manor. The only thing I regret is the fact that it already happened and I can't have my day at such a beautiful venue again. read more

I cannot say enough positive things about Sea Cliff Manor. We got married here this past July and do not even know where to begin. When we first visited Sea Cliff Manor on a whim while visiting venues, we were not sure what we were looking for. We met with Ian who made it so clear that this was the perfect venue for us. Throughout everything, Sea Cliff Manor really went above and beyond to accommodate my family and I through all the planning. They were quick to answer emails, extremely flexible and kind, and it is so clear they put the couples and families they work with first. So many other venues are run like a business but at Sea Cliff Manor you are treated like family. The food was incredible, not your basic wedding quality and they are constantly updating and renovating the venue to make it better than before. Wedding planning can be stressful but I never once had to worry about Sea Cliff Manor because they were so beyond organized and helpful from start to finish. If I could give no stars I would! Yes, the venue is lovely but unfortunately we had to first postpone and then ultimately cancel our event. The reason for the bad review is that we were offered a refund of some of our deposit and I expected management to honor their offer. I guess after thinking about it they changed their minds. I didn't expect to be refunded all of the deposit only what was promised me. After months and months of emails and phone calls being ignored, Nick, who had been most agreeable in the past, gave me a story that I was responsible for the event even though he was able to book the date with another party. I guess he doesn't care about his word. I would not have written this review had I not been promised a partial refund, I believe his words were "I'm sure that can be arranged".Pretty bad business practice! I would NEVER, could NEVER recommend doing any sort of business with this place and I plan on letting everyone I know who is looking for a party venue to not even consider The SeaCliff Manor! read more

We had our wedding this weekend. We can't say how happy we were that we chose Sea Cliff Manor. Ian was amazing, he was attentive to detail, professional, and made the day absolutely stress-free for us. Our guests have repeatedly told us it was one of the best weddings they attended. The food was perfectly prepared and delicious. The venue is a historic manor on the Long Island sound, making it a picture perfect event. Our ceremony was outside under the arbor.
