They could at least let surrounding towns use it off season. It would be good got the community... bring g business to the city.

This beach park is big, the website boasts over 60 acres of land. Since this is a beach slap on the sunscreen and soak up those rays, vitamin deficient folks will have no problem producing more vitamin D as the sun is scorching! There are open and covered picnic areas for you to barbecue. I think these areas require a permit and a fee and are only available to residents of the town. The beach has at least 2 life guards at every marked swimming area and these guys and gals do their job, so people please swim within the flags! Food options are limited and the concession stand is only opened on the weekends, the prices are fairly reasonable. The beach park is pet friendly and they provide baggies at certain stations so you can clean up after your pooch. There is a fee for parking $15 for residents and $20 if you're not a resident. A great place to spend a weekday or weekend to get away from the heat or just hang.

Boy were they great! So 5 stars for them. The beach was easy to drive to. There was street parking and a sign that read Sea Cliff. The Public Safty men in front not so much though officer Derringer in his kindness gave me the grace to vent and the permission to enjoy the show. He gets an extra star from me. The pool closed just as the show was about to start at 8 p.m. The beach was nice , the stage and sound system well done and a nice night with the Sun setting while people , some dressed the part , sang, danced and enjoyed.If you are a fan check out this group.

Upon arrival, Joe and Connor got us fitted with our safety vests and our kayaks and then gave us lessons on how to use the paddle, get in/out of the kayak and provided general navigation and waterway guidance; from there we were off and loving life! We kayaked in Cold Spring Harbor just behind the lab and had an awesome time. It was so relaxing and quiet as we glided across the water. Joe led us in the front and Connor picked up the rear so we always felt safe and in good hands. Since this was our first time, we opted for a 1hour lesson/tour and Joe told us that most of his customers, at the end of the tour, say they wanted more time.
