Great hole in the wall service street style Mexican food. It's a simple counter service place with some small tables. I had their soft tacos (carne asada and al pastor) as well as their fish tacos. The soft tacos were really good. I liked their carne asada more than their al pastor, which is strange for me since I usually prefer al pastor. But their carne asada is better than others, and their al pastor wasn't as good haha. Fish tacos were really good. Fresh out of the fryer, the fish was hot, flaky, and crispy. The sauce and toppings were nice and refreshing too. Was very messy to eat though lol. Maybe a bigger tortilla would be a bit better. But overall, so yummy. The service was super friendly as well. Amazing Fish tacos in Bellevue, WA. Second location with first one being in Federal Way (opening in 1998). It is not associated with the Senor taco chain in Arizona (this senor taco's website is www.senor-taco.com). Senor Taco, Belleveu, is a non-descript store front in an older strip mall. Their fish tacos have appeared on various review sites, including a 'Best of Seattle', so really wanted to try it. It's close enough to where we were staying to walk if a nice day, but those are pretty rare on a Seattle December day, so we ended up driving. We got there soon after opening around 11am, and parking was plentiful. You place your order (and pay) with the very friendly proprietor at the front counter. There is a self-serve Pepsi machine to the side, where we were able to get free filtered water (which is a always a plus). Quesabirria is available here now, so we got that as well. OG Baja ($4.50 each) - made with cod, the fish loin seemed as if freshly battered and fried, served inside of a corn tortilla, with a plentitude of fresh toppings including a very good pico de gallo. Just looking at it, made you realize how it was going to be. And the first bite truly was...as good as any fish tacos I've had in LA. Quesabirra ($15.50) - 3 cheesy corn tortilla tacos. Each had plenty of shredded beef, and a small bowl of consume. The meat was good quality, very tender. My wife really liked it. Since it's a fast food set-up, you self bus the disposable plates and can be on your way really quickly. Grew up going to the Señor Taco in FW, since moved to Seattle so I had to change to this one when I am on the east side. Love the expanded menu and friendly environment and staff. Wish I could give 4.5 stars on the food because it's just a tad bit different than the one down south. Homemade salsa's and tortillas are still phenomenal and the center piece to every meal. Really fun to try the new items, but I continue to circle back to the fish tacos and a senor burrito every time. Quality rice and beans along with some good (not great) meat makes any dish here really really good. Best mexican food in the area for sure and truly a hidden gem around washington. Was looking for a place to get tacos on the east side and this popped up on google maps. It is located in the BelRed area with ample parking. Service was extremely quick and friendly. You order that the kiosk up front and then sit afterward. Apparently they're known for their fish tacos??? Anyway we got the beef, chicken, pork, and fish tacos. We also got a plate of their birria tacos. All were super super tasty. Their fish tacos were hot and fresh and crispy with a refreshing slaw. The pork tacos were the most flavorful of the three meats in my opinion. They come without salsa so make sure to ask for a bottle of the salsa! Tried out this local favorite. We went with the most popular menu item the California burrito with carne asada. Quick to serve us which was great. The burrito was huge. Only issues were that the carne asada was over cooked, the tortillas was bland and when they gave the cheese in the burrito it wasn't warm it was an abrupt cold to hot ratio. Unfortunate regression. So to be fair, we did go on a weekday, but I got the California burrito with fish because the last time I tried their fish tacos they were heavenly and the fish was fried to perfection. However, in a burrito it almost tasted like it was bad quality fish, over fried in probably old oil and just didn't have that same flavor. Additionally, maybe it was an off day, but their pico was super onion, overpoweringly onion. Partner couldn't even finish his chicken burrito because of that onion and the pico unfortunate because I think the fries were still a decent crisp and thinness, but just overall not a good visit. Also, it felt like whoever was there might've been back up because the way that our burritos were wrapped were terrible. I did not expect to have SUCH A BOMB A$# burrito when I ordered take out from here . Oh MY GOD . So freakin' good

Despite the surrounding restaurants closing down over the years, Señor Taco continues to prevail. I can't believe it took me so long to try it out. Two of us came here for a takeout lunch on a weekday at noon. After we arrived, about 12 people walked in, so it was a true lunch rush. A single cashier managed all orders at the counter. I was on the fence about whether to order the al pastor (BBQ pork) or barbacoa (shredded beef). With the barbacoa being more wet, she suggested the al pastor would be more suitable for a takeout order, and it also happened to be her favorite. As we left with our order after about 10 minutes, she called out a thank you from the counter even while tending to other customers. So nice! I got a plate of three tacos, all ordered a la carte. Each was the size of a street taco and contained a generous amount of meat. Chopped onion and cilantro topped each one. + FISH TACO ($4.50): So delicious! The fish was lightly battered and I enjoyed the house sauce which tasted like a smoky chipotle aioli. Cabbage and pico de gallo were tossed on top which added some extra crunch and freshness. + AL PASTOR TACO ($3.50): The employee was right! I loved this one. The marinated pork was so savory, spiced liberally and slightly sweet. It didn't need anything else; it was perfect as is. I should have ordered another one of these. + CARNE ASADA TACO ($3.50): This one was alright. The meat was pretty tender but it didn't have that charred off-the-grill flavor. It was a little bland by itself, so I poured on the spicy red salsa to elevate it. They are not kidding when they say this salsa is hot... it numbed my tongue! My companion enjoyed the Señor Burrito with chicken ($11.50). It came stuffed to the max with rice, beans, cheese, sour cream, lettuce and pico de gallo. It was super heavy and sufficient for two meals. The chicken had a light grilled flavor and there was a generous portion of meat inside. This spot is a gem and high on my list for tacos. I would return again and again especially for more al pastor or to try their quesobirria! 4.75 stars. read more

Came here for lunch. It's on the smaller side. We were greeted right away and customer service was great! After we ordered, we sat down and our food pretty much came right away. I had 2 asada tacos and 2 pastor tacos. They gave us red and green sauce-both not very spicy. The tacos were topped with fresh onion and cilantro. For both asada and pastor, the meat was very dry and hard and it hurt my jaw eating it. Overall, I probably won't come back, but the 3 stars are for the customer service. It was great! read more

As a San Diego transplant I struggle to find passable Mexican food in Seattle. I started a side quest to try every place and find the best. I had the carne asada fries and the carne asada tacos. The carne is grilled on charcoal and well seasoned, something that has been lacking at other places. The fries were really great, crispy with a lot of cheese and plenty of guacamole. I had a single taco, the Senor Taco with tongue. I love the potato slivers they put in these as they add a unique twist to the flavor and texture of the filling. Great taco! The Baja style fish tacos are some of the best we've had in WA. 10/10 will come again. Son agrees - fantastic surprise for an inland WA suburban strip-mall. Quesabirria tacos are a nice heavy saucy beefy surprise with with just enough heat to bump past the undetectable "white people at Applebee's Hot" into a nice warmth zone. Will get again. Tried the popular California Burrito - 4/5. Meat was dry but still tasty. Minor annoyance was that whoever prepared it got lazy because there was nothing except meat on one side of the burrito and nothing but veggies on the opposite half, so as a result it felt like consuming a carnivore burrito (see picture below) followed up with a vegan burrito. Also ordered the Southwest Quesadilla - 2/5. The yummy tortilla was offset by how extremely bland all the ingredients were inside. No spices, no flavor. Overall I was a bit disappointed especially as I didn't want to pass up on this place when I saw the reviews being so good on here. We went on a Wednesday night at 5:45pm and indoor seating was aplenty, ordered, and then seated ourselves. The food here is delicious! I review the options that I got down below: Southwest Taco: This vegetarian taco was definitely good, but it felt like it was missing something for me personally, maybe requesting some protein on it would definitely elevate this taco more as the flavors were more a neutral taste that required some sort of fat to take it up a notch. California Burrito: This burrito comes with the option of a variety of meats to pick from. I got the lengua option, which is their simmered beef tongue option, and man, this meat was tender! It was moist, soft, and had absolutely delicious flavor - you could just taste the fat, spices, and meat which was a scrumptious ratio together! Usually burritoes (at least the places I've been at) are usually filled with other ingredients that come with the burrito and less of meat, but this one was basically 75% lengua - good bang for your buck and I would recommend! Señor Fish Taco: Another one of the options that I would totally recommend that you try when you pay Señor Taco a visit - I would say this was my favorite thing that I got! The fish was really tender and the breading surrounding the fish was perfect - thin and not oily at all. Every bite you would take of the fish the crust would just envelope around, making the texture really pleasing. The house made sauce that also comes on top of the fish is a great addition - provides a good amount of acidity to the breaded fish. The fries also complement the taco as well - makes this taco a very pleasing and filling experience. I would totally get this taco again the next time I visit! Horchata: This drink has a really creamy aftertaste with a strong (almost festive?) cinnamon initial taste - feels like eggnog to me with one notch down in terms of richness, which is perfect for me. A fantastic beverage option that goes with any of the burritos and tacos that you order here! Overall, spent about $25 for the experience and it was definitely worth it in my book based on the price and quality of food provided! Atmosphere is definitely a cozy hole-in-the-wall experience. YUMMMMM! I stopped to eat here after reading some Yelp reviews and I am so glad I did! Truthfully one of the most delicious Mexican meals I've had in a LONG time. And maybe top 5 Mexican ever. I had the Quesdaillasbirria (I think that is what it was - basically shredded pork quesadillas with consommé). I live over an hour away and I WILL be back, probably every time I'm in Bellevue, which I hope is a lot more frequent now that I found this place. The owner was super kind and sold me some of his salsa verde (which is another excellent offering). They were out of the day's supply but he maybe gave me some of tomorrow's? Small inside, not a lot of seating, but I think I beat the dinner rush and there was plenty of room to dine in. We got a southwest burrito with/ carne asada, quesadilla, 3 different tacos (barbacoa, carne asada, and fish). We have been trying new places, and tried Senor Taco recently for lunch. It's a small place in a strip mall that is easy to miss, do not miss it, the food is amazing. We got Fish Taco, Senor Fish Taco, Quesadilla with Pork, and Southwest Quesadilla with Chicken. We loved the Fish tacos so much, we had to get one more. A post cinco de Mayo celebration, we visited here based on a Mexican friend's recommendation. The burritos stood out on the menu but we had to get tacos at a taquería.
