Senor Fiesta is about 5 miles-ish north of Gainesville on 129 and is a great spot to have Mexican. I have been here three times after ball games or driving home and it is always busy. Especially at night or after church. Really good food from a 'typical' Mexican standpoint. Salsa as a starter is good and has some bite to it. Enchiladas Supremos is a standout, plus they have(of course) the list of one thru 15 mexican dishes. Example; number 11 is always one taco, one burrito, one enchilada. But it's fun to always try different things. Senor Fiesta succeeds in that they offer lots of options. Texas fajita nachos are a great example. I've heard of less than great service, but I have never experienced that. P.S.- If you're getting dumped by your girlfriend, this is not the place to have it happen. read more

Near our house and I haven't been in for over a year because the last time, the waiter didn't write down our order and literally got 5- FIVE! things wrong with 2 adults and 2 teens. He also got people sitting near us order wrong because we heard them . Tonight, against my better judgement, I let 2 kids talk me in to stopping at 8:15pm on way home from an event. They were slammed on a Tuesday night due to local ball fields. Server walked by multiple times promising to get to us. I told her, no problem about 4 times. Then this other gal comes over and takes our order. After 30 minutes, I asked about our food. The table across from us gave their order and got their food and then left and after 45 minutes, I told the kids we were leaving and they were mad so on the way by the kitchen, I asked if the food set out was ours and all she said was no so I said we were leaving and that was it. 45 min of my life wasted at this horrific restaurant. I have said in the past to my family that I will never go back but I've given in and when I say never now, I mean NEVER. Terrible customer service whether busy or not and nothing special, greasy Mexican. Not gonna lie: I was relieved not to eat that food at 9 pm at night and that they didn't get at least $60 with a tip from me. They don't deserve it and I can actually say that I hate this place. They also regularly fail their inspections. They suck all around! read more

Have loved the food and service at every OTHER senor fiesta. This is the only Mexican restaurant I've been too that puts jalapeños in their guacamole Mexicano. They have messed up my order more then once and today when I saw a hatchling roach craw across the table as the waiter put my ticket down was my LAST visit ever! Went here again on Wednesday to let them redeem themselves. As soon as my fiancé and I walked in the door the waitress called us a bitch in Spanish. She was the same waitress that tried to act like the manager last time we were there. She also wasn't very attentive. She would come over to our table ask us if we needed anything then would say no okay before we could even answer and then walk off. She could see that we needed water,salsa,etc. When my fiancé and I got up to leave I was putting my jacket on and the sleeve was wrapped around my arm so I slung my arm to go and get the sleeve unwrapped from around my arm. She then laughed at me. She was a horrible waitress and we are never going here again until we either get answers from the first time or an apology. read more

Senor Fiesta is located along with a gas station (type plaza), so not sure if that was part of the problem, or some supply issues from Covid have affected them, but something was definitely off this Saturday night. It was not crowded and our large party was seated right away. I ordered the taco salad and enjoyed the chips while our food was prepared. The chips were nice and thin but had grease still present perhaps from being freshly made. The cheese dip we ordered was very thin and runny so it barely stuck to the chip. Not the best cheese dip and not much flavor either. The taco salad was a little smaller than i would expect. The chicken was a bit on the cold side and did not taste the best or what i am used to from other similar places. The chicked was not shredded much and i had to eat larger than usual pieces. Others in my party voiced similar blandness with their food orders as well. We thought about dessert but they were out of pretty much everything. My kids noticed even the gumball machine on the way out was empty. I guess i wont be coming back to this location, but i might try similar sounding names in the area (apparently this restaurant is not affiliated even though the name is the same). read more

It's way out in the country on the side of a gas station. It's real good Tex-mex food. Portions are large and service is pleasant and agreeable. The interior is beginning to some wear n tear issues as they do a big business with so little competition. They've got a real tasty salsa that's got a kick. Even picky kids will devour the soft tacos here. Beer braised pork is tender with spicy under tones. For my money it's the best thing on the menu. We have been going to this little restaurant since it opened and usually it is very very good. Tonight we went as usual and the conditions were awful. The flies in the place were so bad that we could not even eat our meal. We changed tables thinking that would solve the problem but it was the same at that table. I spoke to the manager on duty and told him that we ate there all the time and that the fly situation was unbearable. I didn't expect to be comped for my margarita but we could not even eat our food it was so bad. The manager made no effort what so ever to take care of anything. My husband took me here for my birthday. Great food. Had the ground beef tostada, cheese enchilada and cheese chili poblano. Yummy. For dessert, we shared a delicious piece of cheesecake with warm strawberry compote and edged in whipped cream. Best I've had in a restaurant. Tasted homemade. This is the worst mexican restaurant I've ever ate at. Been here 3 times in a row. first time ordered a dr pepper and came to realization that there was a spider in my drink. Waited a week later to try it out again with my family since it's a local place to eat and i chose to get a water just incase. in my water there was a blob of grease and nobody had an explanation as to why. I haven't been in over a month and now i am here tonight with friends and ordered another water with a black hair in it. I will never eat at this restaurant again because 3 strikes and it's done. Food is good enough for Tex-Mex. It's not the best I have ever had, but it's good. Service here is definitely lacking. My family and I have been eating at this location for the past two years. Since the previous manager, Lynn, left and the new location opened up, service has steadily been getting worse. The last time we were in here, about a week ago, we had to talk to a manager just to get someone to take our drink order. The manager was nice enough, and handled the problem right away. Overall, there are many better places to eat. If you live near this location, as I do, then it's good enough for a quick bite to eat when no one at home wants to cook. read more
