We were also told there would be a bounce house and party bags when the children left the party. All sounded great! We get there the three instructors stood in the corner and talked to each other. There was not bounce house!! No party bag for the children, The place was dirty and rundown!! The three instructors would not talk to the children. We had to go out and help the children and the three instructor talk to themselves. But the REAL disappoint and what angered me the most: we are an interracial family, I have Latino and Black grandchildren. The three instructor refused to do anything with my three black grandchildren!!! We felt hurt and very sad that three white women would treat my Black grandchildren this way!! To sum the experience up is: we were lied to and discriminated against!!! Plus there was no AC in the play area!!! Some of the kids had heat stroke. The party room had AC but was shut off after the kids were finished in the play area. So we had the party in a room with NO AC and NO VENTILATION! This place is a joke and a dump!!!

We chose Andrea after a very in depth discussion over the phone and much prayer! The Lord literally put Andrea in our path to take us all on the journey of a lifetime! We were told it typically takes 1-2 years for a birth mom to match with a family .... It took us 2 weeks!! What an incredible blessing!! And what a blessing to have had Andrea walk us through each and every piece! She is truly a gem on this earth and I became a mama with the Miracle of Adoption of our baby boy! Old son up from daycare. He had a bump and scratch on his head. The teachers proceeded to tell him they didn't know what happened, how or when. However the bump got worse after nap time. They wrote on the boo boo gram "10:20" but how did they know the time but also state they don't know when it happened? They then proceeded to tell my husband that he started doing " dramatic falls". We never got a phone call. Just a shoulder shrug. When we got home my son vomited three times and we took him to cooks. Thankfully he only had a mild concussion and a clear head CT. My husband and I felt so embarrassed talking to the health care team. We couldn't tell them how he fell, how hard he hit. What he hit. Etc. they were even dumbfounded that they did not immediately report this to me. They think his " dramatic falling" was my son becoming dizzy. Thankfully he is fine. The next day I pulled him from this poor excuse of a daycare. I wasn't sure what I was going to do since I didn't have a daycare for him to start and I work nightshift but I would rather lose sleep than send him back. I was told the owner would be getting in touch with me. I did ask for a refund for the whole month of January since he barley went since we all had Covid. Fast forward a week. I still haven't heard anything. So I called the school today and was told my info was passed along to the owner and they would remind her to call me. So she finally calls today. Doesn't apologize. Blames me and stated that this happened at my house. Stated it wasn't a big deal because it was just a scratch. And of course won't refund me. idc about the $$, I care that it took her a week to call me back and she didn't even apologize and then proceeded to blame me for my child's injury. As well as them lying on the boo boo gram. What else are they lying about? I am an ICU nurse... my background is trauma. Head injuries are no joke and if this happened in my care I would have let the daycare know as well as be hyper vigilant in watching him for signs. A head injury can be catastrophic and just because the child doesn't cry or doesn't cry for long doesn't mean it can't be serious. This is absolutely unacceptable and frankly not safe. I'm blown away at her passive aggressiveness and not caring. They had an amazing director and other teachers who left because of this owner and as soon as she told me she was leaving I started looking into other daycares. Lesson learned. This place barley had any reviews but I picked them for convenience. I should have done better research. But you live and learn. I just wanted to make as many people aware of this situation as possible. I find it really sad that people can own daycares and not care about the kiddos. Karma will find her. And I'm sure the state will love to hear about this event. Maybe I should send her my ER bill. #mykidssafetyismoreimortantrhanacheck
