I had tried troubleshooting it myself and initially thought it might be a relatively simple clog, but it became pretty clear that it needed a professional. Iain thoroughly snaked the line and got everything flowing properly again. While he was working, he also pointed out that the plumbing under our kitchen sink had a lot of smaller sections, fittings, and connections that could be simplified to minimize future issues. What I really appreciated was that it never felt like an upsell. He mentioned it simply as something I might want to consider in the future. I was actually the one who asked whether he could just take care of it while he was already there. He even hesitated because he wasn't sure he had all the necessary parts on the truck, but checked and was able to get it done. The new setup under the sink looks dramatically cleaner, simpler, and stronger. Some of the old fittings were pretty finicky, so I'm especially glad I didn't continue trying to tackle it myself. Iain and Steve spent about three hours between clearing the drain, rebuilding the piping, and making sure everything was working correctly. The pricing was also very reasonable, and Iain actually reduced the original drain-cleaning charge after I added the additional work without me even asking. Both Iain and Steve were friendly, professional, and straightforward. I also really appreciated that Iain took the time to explain what he was doing and gave me some good advice for maintaining the drains going forward. Used PP for $10,000 job to include copper pipe in hall bath and all new sewer drain replacement…read morethroughout where cast iron remained (they"d previously done one bathroom but kitchen and two baths still had cast iron). Their work "didn't include" replacing vent stacks so vents continued to allow sewer gasses every time the city of poway attended to the main sewer line (once a month), so I had my handyman open walls to replace galvanized with ABS and found a remaining cast iron pipe fitting through the base plate and BELOW GRADE going up to the galvanized vent pipe. Handyman replaced galvanized to abs above the cast iron so I called PP back to just come back to replace the cast iron they SHOULD HAVE REPLACED WHEN SLAB WAS OPEN! They want $3600 just to fix what they should have done in the first place (get rid of the cast iron part while the slab was cut). Michael DiSilva did the actual work in this area himself, (because his employee would not! ) Now I'm gonna need to re-cut slab and the tile is a 12-week lead time! What a mess! Plus their schedule m copper in the bath area is already showing green spots so I have to re-pipe all their work in three baths! Will use another company to re-pipe with schedule L, and instal water filter pre-house.

This time around, our Rheem water heater failed before reaching even 7 years, despite having a 12‑year warranty. Even though Quick is closed on weekends, Brandon texted me and set us up first thing Monday morning. Ben (sales) was extremely helpful, walked me through all the options, and made a genuine effort to get Rheem to honor the warranty. Unfortunately, Rheem couldn't provide a replacement and instead offered fair market compensation (still TBD). Not thrilled with Rheem, but Ben handled the situation professionally and kept me informed throughout. We ultimately went with a Bradford White, and Sammy installed it the same day. His work was excellent--professional, efficient, and spotless cleanup. The Bradford White + installation was very reasonable and very surprisingly comparable to my prior installation. Very impressed with Quick's responsiveness, professionalism, and ability to turn everything around in a single day. Highly recommend them.
