Well I went to this place seeing that it had many good reviews. Don't be fooled.... it's not the best quality what so ever. I coughed up $300 dollars just for a spoiler wrap. I payed even though it was overpriced I thought I was going to get decent quality so I was okay with that. But, two months later bubbles started appearing also its start peeling off where they cut the wrap. I took good care for the wrap too no harsh cleaning products and avoided any sun damage since I alway cover my car outside.For $300 dollar spoiler wrap I'm extremely disappointed with this work. read more

***PLEASE READ*** If you only read one review, read this one. I brought my car up there to get my roof and spoiler wrapped. Fast forward a few months and I notice my roof wrap is no longer flush with the roof and there were big bubbles almost like air pockets at the top. To take it one step further, I disassembled my whole car to work on it and I noticed the deepest scratch under my spoiler. I went there to try and rectify the situation but they had no explanation for the roof and told me they couldn't do anything for me in terms of the scratch on the spoiler. My point is, it looks like they do good work but once you peel back the wrap how many scratches will be left behind? I have personally wrapped the rest of my car with the help of my friend and I've seen what quality work looks like and no scratches were left behind. There's 100 wrap shops in SD I can't vouch for any of them but please don't settle on this one. Overpriced as well I saw someone comment that, spot on! Fast Forward a week later I was passing by to get my window fixed at the shop next door, the owner Miguel proceeded to go out of his way to come outside and say "F*ck you! Don't come back here again" I'm guessing he saw my review on yelp. He is not professional by any means and is just a very arrogant person. Spoke briefly with the guy presumably running the shop about installing two trucks tailgate wraps that I already had designed, printed, and on-hand. Over the phone it was "yeah, no problem - sign up for an appointment for $15, and we'll get both applied for less than $200". I made the trip out there and the guy was dumbfounded by a tailgate wraps, and stated he couldn't do both wraps for less than $450. Still waiting for my $15 refund. Avoid this place. read more

I came to SD power customs after a few other shops said they couldn't help me. I needed an emblem for my front grill gold-wrapped, it was very difficult because of the curves and shapes of the emblem. They were able to wrap it successfully and even offered to split the cost if it came out poorly (which it did not). On top of that, they said there's a lifetime warranty on the wrap. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. 1) these guys had their rattle can explode and it dented my brand new truck 2) they attached my bumper incorrectly and its crooked 3) they said it would take 3-4 hours max. 10 hours later I had to demand they give my truck back to me. Dropped off my BMW to get the interior trim done. Miguel did a good job. I'm definitely satisfied with the final product. It took longer than expected, but that wasn't a big deal. I was at work most of the day anyways,and he got it done for me same day. The pricing was fair and wasn't too expensive. I went with a brushed metal interior trim. Didn't know how to be a crook was part of business school. If your looking for quality work and competitive pricing, stay far away from this place. Paid $150 for a full car detail, the interior wasn't even touched; $180 for headlight restoration, came to notice the next day my engine bay was covered in splatter from the polish; lastly $40 for fog light tint, that Has jagged edges all around. After paying the ridiculous $15 appointment booking fee (mandatory for any service), and dropping my car off for the 8:00 appointment, I was quoted that it will be ready at the end of the day. Went to pick up my car, and behold still being worked on, just starting on the headlights. I was told to come back the next day at 3, however demanded 1. I'm positive they rushed everything in the sloppiest way possible. Miguel(the owner), I'm sure is just trying to make enough to keep paying the lease on his Versace wrapper Range Rover. Don't believe the 5 star reviews. He reduces the amount he charges customers in exchange for a 5 star review. I'm just trying to help out my fellow car enthusiasts who deserve good work and this place can't provide it. read more

Great place to go to get your wrapping or tinting needs done. While I was there, I saw a few pretty amazing cars (Maserati, Q5s, Porsche) all being wrapped with various levels of detail. I got a fix it ticket for my front window tint which is never fun but Miguel took care of me. I was in and out in 25 min. They were pretty flexible too I was horribly late for my appointment but still got me in there. Good guys, good work. Recommended! read more

***BUYER BEWARE*** paid a few thousand dollars to have my truck wrapped. Was told it would take 3 days, ended up taking 10! When I picked up the truck the emblem on my Tahoe read EOHAT... really? There were dirty finger print stains all ever my headliner inside my truck, trash left everywhere, the wrap is peeling off everywhere!! I have pictures. The handles, the bumpers, the doors, everywhere! When Confronted, they want to take my truck for another 3-4 days.. which will probably turn into 10 again without my truck. The owners explanation was that he is just starting this business and doesn't have good help.. wish I would of known that first. Hopefully I stop someone else from wasting their money and time! Came to power customs to get tint done on my civic. I didn't make an appointment and still got it done on a Sunday. I had to wait a bit but, hence no appointment was made. First of all you have to pay $15 dollars to make an appointment. Then once your there they over charge you for bad work. They claim they have 3m tint. Which they do a horrible job. Then they charge you double for the same thing that was quoted by another place. If you want to use a card for payment they charge you 5% for how much your bill is. There work is not worth the over charge. They are very un professional. I had the same work that the quoted for me done for $240 less and looked great. read more

Fantastic customer service, real stand up pair of dudes

I brought my Cadillac to SD Power Customs last Thursday because the clear coat on the window pillars was starting to flake. I talked directly with the owner and explained the problem and what I was looking for. He said that that wouldn't be a problem. Then we discussed how while it was there I would like him to wrap and black out all the chrome and tint the head and tail lights. We then talked price and came to a agreement. I was told it would be done by Monday or Tuesday at the latest. Today is Wednesday and I picked it up at around 4pm. To me this is not a big deal I myself am a small business owner and understand some times it takes longer to do things right. The problem is that nothing was done right. When I showed up to pick up my car I noticed that the pillars were not wrapped. I asked the owner about this and he said that it was not part of it. I explained the conversation we had on Thursday and that the pillars were the whole reason I brought it in. He recognized our conversation but said it would be a extra 250 dollars to wrap them. I told him how upset I was and that I would definitely be writing a bad review. I reluctantly paid the balance. He asked me to leave so I asked for my keys. He said he would throw my keys into the bushes. I explained that that better not happen. He then went inside and returned with my keys and handed them to me. I asked for a receipt and was told no and that my warranty was voided (apparently for being unhappy). I left the shop without getting to examine my car to avoid further drama. When I got home I examined my car and noticed that instead of wrapping my grill as I was told they SPRAY PAINTED it. The paint has drips and bubbles. The part that were wrapped have rough edges, creases and bubbles. Needless to say I am very unhappy not just with the customer service but the job as well. I know that this job will only look worse and worse as time goes on. I will never trust this shop with my car again and because my warranty is somehow voided any repairs will cost me more money. This is one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. DO NO TRUST THEM WITH YOUR VEHICLE. read more

**** BUYER BEWARE **** I was first quoted 200 by Miguel to have the hubcaps on my brand new 2018 sprayed with plasti-dip. When I arrived i realized the owner was just using rattle cans instead of a sprayer. I figured oh well, as long as the quality is good. Upon completion i was unhappy with the rims undreneath appearance with just the caps placed over so I asked if it would be possible to come back a different day to have those sprayed as well. There was a verbal agreement to have those sprayed for an additional 50.00. When scheduling that appointment I was charged 15.00 just to make the appointment. I waited two (2) hours to have them sprayed, and upon closer inspection, he didn't even remove the caps and just sprayed over and between it! The edge wasn't even fully covered and the inside is left with overspray everywhere and looks extremely sloppy (Pictures Attached). I expressed how unhappy i was with the quick and effortless job he did, and that this wasn't what was agreed upon he said for another 200 dollars he can respray it all. I told him I wanted it removed and my money back, which he drove my car off the lot and left the key outside. He refused any further contact with me or my girlfriend. Miguel had me in and out in 2hrs. Tint job was pretty good. Few bubbles left behind and were pointed out but Miguel corrected his mistakes after I thoroughly inspected my X1. Initially, We haggled back and forth and he eventually got the price down (BUT "installation warranty" was reduced drastically from 1 yr down to 1 month as a result) to the advertised price on Craigslist. Miguel is a hard charging "get it done" young entrepreneur! I wanted to "Black Out" my 2013 BMW 550i M-Sport and showed up the next day and Miguel told me to show up the next day, but made it happen anyway. He was able to provide me with some additional options to help make my car the best for what I was trying to do.
