Sooo someone hit my side mirror and it was hanging on by a thread. Thanks to the jerk that decided to just leave. Sucks!! I knew exactly who I was going to call as soon as I saw my car like that. SD Auto Glass!! This is not my first time having them do a repair on my car. I reached out to Frank who fixed my cracked windshield a while ago. He did such a great job that I shared his information with my boss who also hired Frank to fix his cracked windshield as well. I let Frank know what was going on with my car and within minutes he let me know that he was on it. Him and his team looked for the part and they were able to find an exact match in a few hours...mind you...this man was on a family vacation and, I had no idea!! I truly believe that anyone else would have told me that I needed to wait till they got back from vacation before doing anything at all and he didn't. He came to the address that was provided, had everything he needed, was quick, clean and so kind. The price was just right! I'm just grateful that he was able to repair it so quickly. My car is really old and beat up but, I have an emotional connection to it (it was my dads and, he gave it to me before he passed away) and Frank understood and, it meant a lot that he took notice of that. Business people don't seem to have as much empathy these days and, Frank does. I trust no one else besides SD Auto Glass and, will share their name with absolutely anyone and everyone that I know!!! read more

very very sloppy work would not recommend. had them come out at least 4-5 different times to fix a window they put in my car it had problems leaking all they would do is put more glue in and it looks like shit would not recommend read more

Frank was referred to me via Safelite. Frank seemed eager to complete the job. It got pushed to the next day, due to him getting a flat tire. He said he would be at my house between 10am and 12pm the next day. At 9am an employee I did not know, was knocking on my door. Once They "finished" the Job. and told me not to remove the tape for two days... When I did remove the tape, I was appalled. The quality of job is unacceptable. It looks like crap. read more

Horrible experience replacing my window. I would not recommend SD auto glass. First they broke the hinges off and charged a different amount that was quoted. It was working perfectly before no issues till they touched the mechanics inside the regulator. Second they left a lot of micro glass pieces and did not clean up their mess and had to get it cleaned by expert detailers. Third they never showed up to fixing their mess and destroying parts that scratched my window. Frank should not be in business. Please look for a professional installer. BEWARE read more

Service done quickly but glass shards and fragments left throughout dashboard and AC system from a crack less than 12 inches, had to request for shard cleanup. As well as side panel damage and hood paint damage from improper guard removal. Owner promised to get back to me to get it fixed. never heard a word back from him. I wanted to take the time to give SD Auto Glass a review. My kid accidentally closed the garage and cracked the glass roof of my Tesla. I called Frank on 11/4/2025 and he was quick to respond and said he could do it. Frank was able to order and deliver the glass roof intact to my house. He called three other of his workers and they all came at the same time to change out the roof glass. He took the old one to dispose of properly. Frank offers military discount. I have drove the car around bumps, no wind. I went through the car wash with no leaks. No cracks or damages on glass. For those that want another alternative than Tesla to fix your glass I would recommend Frank. Thank you for a job well done with lifetime guarantee. read more

Do your research before going with this company. Cheaper doesn't always mean better. My vehicle looked better with the small chip than the completed work. read more

Service was amazing they only reason it's not 5 is because the time it took him to come out and then he did give me a great quote for my work truck but when I paid he charged me a service fee after I confirmed with him out the door $479.00 and then when I looked at the receipt it's 3% more I know it's only 15$ but in my Buisness I don't put that on my customers...I tell them up front when I run a card I get charged a fee not them and if he would have told me this before hand I would have went and got the cash prior to the work.... I was quoted 400 out the door on the phone and then after the service was completed, they told me that they can't take Venmo, card or electronic payment and they had to follow me to the bank( which was very weird as they didn't tell me that I needed to pay in cash which I don't carry so I had to jump through loopholes) and then after the service was conpleted, another 200$ was thrown onto the price on top of the 400 or so dollars I was quoted on the phone. And they didn't even seal my whole back window so it lets the weather in. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. read more

These guys are scam artists! Wanted to charge me $300 for getting my window to stay up with tape since the regulator broke & I was only there visiting. I caught him in lies & he was very demanding, bossy & was very rude. Would NOT use them!!! They are all about the money. Not trustworthy. DO NOT USE THEM!! Zero stars read more

Frank was professional and had his guy show up the same day I texted him. Same price as some of the other places but he comes to your place, which is huge! His guy was fast and did a good job. I will use SD Auto glass again. read more

The repair was reasonably priced. They changed and calibrated my windshield at home. Super professional and really nice. Thanks guys!!!!

Fast response, fast service and great price. Came to my work. Best price out of 3 places I called. 100% recommend!

Unfortunately my car was broken into this past weekend and my driver side window was shattered. I contacted SD auto glass and Frank was super quick to respond. I gave him my cars make and model and he assured me he could get the job done the next day. The fact that he was clear with his pricing, drove to my work to do the repair so I didn't have to take time off really meant the world. He even suggested a part I could purchase to fix another minor problem I've had with my door. In summary: - Very responsive - Fair pricing - Will drive to you - Quality of repair was a 10/10 Highly recommend! read more

Spoke with Frank regarding my windshield repair. I got a quote within minutes. I called other places around, but can't beat the prices at SD Auto Glass. I was able to schedule right away. Extra Bonus, they come to you! On the day of service, I received a text when they were on their way, and kept me informed of everything that was going to happen. I was able to use contactless payment. And before I knew everything was done. I highly recommend using SD Autoglass. Thanks guys, Well Done! read more

Cracked my windshield while driving, and it started webbing across the glass quite a bit. I called SD Auto Glass for a quote as I was shopping around. Frank was very courteous and quick to respond. The process was as simple as giving him my VIN! He gave me a fair quote that was much more affordable than going through insurance (Safelite) or the dealership. Frank and his team was able to come and replace my windshield at my work the very next day, which saved me the trouble of making an appointment and traveling elsewhere. They were done in about 30 minutes and the windshield looks fantastic! I highly recommend Frank and his team to anyone needing glasswork done on their car and will be returning for future services! read more

My daughter's Subaru Forester had a smashed windshield, and SD Auto Glass's reviews here on Yelp were so good, I called them. Their price was the lowest of four companies I got quotes from. Frank came to our house and was done with the install and clean up within an hour. Friendliest guy, great work, beautiful new windshield. Satisfied customer. You won't regret going with SD Auto Glass! read more

I had the best experience with Frank. He replaced my windshield the same day. Amazing 5 stars

Shady business, not professional. Did not give any receipts or allow cancelations under no circumstances. Had a disturbing experience.

I requested a window regulator repair for my car and it had been out for so long. so to finally get it fixed, I went to these guys. first it was sketchy. their motto is "we come to you" but I had to drive to them because they were busy which was understandable. Frank was very nice and helpful but their service overall was terrible. Had to "help" them not forget some things on my passenger side. Nonetheless my window was fixed for a little bit then the regulator broke again. Asked to get back with them but took too long. went to Safelite instead and they did it fast and easy for about the same price as these guys and has yet to mess up. Price was not bad here, still a little better than most shops. but please beware when picking them for your auto glass needs. Plus I never got my refund from them! $225 down the drain!! read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. This company is a joke. I made an appointment with Frank between 10am & noon. No one ever showed up or called. I called him around 1pm for an ETA, he said he was in Oceanside and gave me another ETA of an hour. An hour and a half passed by, I called him, & he said another 35 minutes. He finally arrived after 3pm but it wasn't Frank. Some other guy arrived because Frank was still busy. Once the windshield repair was started, they were very unprofessional. They cut the wire to my dash cam and said, "Oops, I hope that wasn't important. It doesn't look expensive", then laughed as if damaging my things was funny and no big deal. Once the repair was completed, Frank demanded the money without giving a receipt. Apparently, they don't carry them. I refused to give payment until I had a receipt and that did not sit well with him. A receipt was texted to us and we paid. Horrible experience with this "company" read more

My car was broken into !! Frank came out to fix my drivers side window !! He was very sure Of himself and of his work. Told me instead of a tip he wanted a five star review said that several times!! After he left I noticed I couldn't open the Door from the inside I had to crawl through the other side to get out or open the window and open the door from the outside! So I called him to come back to fix it. Then it was something else the window would t roll down ? he just couldn't get the sensors right. Since they came out three times I'm not calling them again!!!!! But my window is still creaking !!! As I close it ! read more

I woke up to my car broken into and glass from the window shattered everywhere. I was overwhelmed with the incident so when looking for a mobile repair company I was anticipating it being a difficult process. I got very lucky with SD Auto Glass, they answered my call right away, came to where I was and helped install a new window almost immediately. Their quality service was very much appreciated and they are quite cost efficient as well. I figured this was going to be a whole day process but they relived much of my stress by helping with this matter promptly making my morning easier. read more

I highly recommend!!!! Frank is a blessing! My rare passenger side window was broken into. SD Auto Glass Repair was the 1st that showed on on Google search. Called frank around 10 am and he came around 4PM and done within 30 mins - tinted windows and other broken parts replaced at a very competitive price - i did not even bother asking for military discount since it's already a deal that he gave me at such very efficient time and quality work! they replace my front window about two weeks ago and I had broken clips and I keep calling them and they still have not been replace yet, they keep telling that they will replace them and up to this review they still have not replace them!!! so make sure you check all your clips, if not they will leave you with no clips!!! read more

So, I never write reviews but had to for this business as this guy Frank is dishonest and I should of never used them to replace my window regulator especially for the cost of $300. First lie was that they would show up the next day between 10-12 no show no call I had to call him and then he said they would be there the next day early again but arrived around 2. All red flags and not to mention Frank kept saying that he was honest and trustworthy. So they replaced the regulator and when I picked up my car the window was rolled up, my mechanic said they tested it and worked fine but as soon as I rolled down the window the problems began as it only went down 3/4 of the way and when I rolled it back up the window made a snapping noise and the window rattles when I close the door all signs of poor installion, so I called Frank and said to reset it and said it will eventually go all the way down but never did, I asked him if they can come look at it and repair the issues all he said is that he would call me to set a time to bring to him and never did I kept texting him and would never answer to the point that he blocked me. His excuse was the part they used was an aftermarket part, but the problem is the poor installation these guys are dishonest and don't honor their work so beware as there are plenty of window install company here in the area that back up there work not just blow you off as soon as there is a problem. read more

Called at 3:15 on a Saturday for a chip in my windshield, Frank showed up at 4pm that same day. Fixed my chip in the windshield AND restored my headlights and was done by 4:30! I had a cracked windshield for about 4 months. I contacted another local mobile glass repair guy that I had used in the past but he was completely unreliable and never came through to fix the windshield. Finally, I asked for recommendation from my mechanic and they led me to SD Auto Glass. I contacted them and gave them the details and sent pictures of the vehicle and the exact windshield I had. They told me it was in stock, gave me a reasonable price, and came out the very next morning. The process only took about 45 minutes. The guy installing the windshield was absolutely professional and extremely polite. I would definitely recommend using this company for windshield repair and if/ when I need their services again, I will not hesitate. read more

Frank came over to my house without a confirmed appointment and without going into much detail, he became Irate over, putting a tiny patch on a chip that already had been repaired demanding money. For Work I didn't even approve or discuss. His "fix" didn't even help the situation, but make it worse. I am getting a whole new Windshield instead. But my concern is mainly for his filthy language and horrible behavior. He even yelled at my elderly neighbor. This unstable behavior still leaves me shaken the next day. read more

I highly recommend Frank and SD Autoglass. I had two cars with broken windshields that I finally got around to replacing. Frank quoted a competitive price and his mobile service is very convenient. Also- I wanted to comment on Frank's integrity and quality of service. One of the cars is very old and a rusted wiper arm broke during the windshield replacement. Frank tracked down the replacement part and came back to replace the part. He could have left me hanging, but he took the extra time and effort to make it right. Thank you Frank and team! read more

This morning I went to me car and my side window was broken someone threw a rock in my vehicle. I called insurance and the prices were unreal, after shopping around I finally found SD autoglass. Frank was very helpful over the phone and he was truly professional. He quoted me a price I know, no one else would beat. We set up an appointment time, upon arrival there was another worker who's name I am blanking on but he got me an original window instead of the aftermarket window. I truly appreciate the efficiency and the service these men do. It's Christmas Eve and they made my day better than it had started out. Thank you guys. read more
