Sullivan's Tire Pros, Oakhurst: 2026 Jun 23 (5 of 5)…read more When you know a business works for you, it just feels right to refer that business to the people you care about. After getting excellent service when I took my car in for servicing, I referred their garage to a family member. He took his car in several weeks later. The person who's supposed to work on a special part of the car was out that day and he had to leave his car overnight. Remembering that his garage door opener and other personal items were in the car, a call was made to see if the garage could store his car inside the shop for safety. Sullivan's did just that. That's assurance their customers needed to hear. While online reviews are great, direct referrals from people you care about are unmatched because they represent proven reliability, established trust, and personal care. In the end, I felt good about my referral of Sullivan's Tire Pros as well.

Advanced Auto, Oakhurst: 2026 June 17 (5 of 5)…read more Getting a smog check can be nerve-wrecking at best but it is mandatory in California to get a vehicle inspection, and see the type pf pollutants our car emits. Since my car went in for her regular maintenance just a week ago, I know I'd pass inspection. We are lucky to have a smog garage near us. Advanced Auto Center has been our go-to garage for our car's care. They certainly take care of our cars. The owners and staff are friendly, efficient, and shows they care about their clients. I'd definitely recommend them for your car care. I am including their business cards here because I find myself spelling their names incorrectly. That is bad on my part.

My very good friend introduced me to Advanced Auto. He said if you're looking for great service,…read morevisit Kutter and Kambria at Advanced Auto first. My first trip made me a believer. Both Kutter and Kambria are friendly, engaging, great listeners and above all, knowledgeable. I brought my 2014 Dodge Charger for service. What I received was way more. When I returned to pick up my car, I found Kambria had performed a diagnostic of my car. She explained that is standard procedure for all customers. Thanks to the extra customer service, I learned that the ball joints and upper control arms needed replacement, as well as an alignment, brake fluid system flush and air filter housing. Fortunately, when I purchased my car I also purchased a Chrysler Max Care warrantly. The ball joints and upper control arms were covered by the warranty. So off to the CDJR dealership in Fresno I went. While there, the service advisor said he would match costs for brake fulid flush, alignment and air filter housing. From the dealership, I called Kambria about the offer. She told me she would perfectly understand if I chose to have the dealership perform the repairs, since the car was already there. I thanked her and I assured her that I already agreed to have Advanced handle the additional repairs, and an agreement, is an agreement. I thanked the service writer for his kindness and explained that the three additional repairs were promised to Advanced. I brought the car back to Advanced and once again Kambria handled the repairs. As an aside, I also wanted to install a back up camera for my PT Cruiser; not an easy feat since the car sits close to the ground. Kutter researched, found and installed the perfect back up camera. I've been around for a while and over the years have worked with various repair shops. Right from the beginning, Kutter and Kambria treated me like I was their only customer. How many members of that club are still around? If you are looking for an extraordinary auto repair shop experience, delivered by people that genuinely care about the customer, make Advanced Auto your first stop. You'll be glad you did!

Apparently the crew broke a plastic piece that's integral to the engine running. They said it's not their fault that the automotive industry uses plastic parts that are bound to break. Now, they have to keep my car for an estimated 4 days until they're able to get the part and reinstall it. They said they wouldn't charge labor, but will charge for the replacement part. Overall, they're nice people with fair prices, but I don't think I'd recommend their services due to the fact that I went in for a simple oil change that should take no more than 30 minutes, and ended up having to leave my car with them over the weekend, and they won't even take ownership over the issue.
