I came in with my 2016 Mini Cooper Countryman for a standard oil change. From inside my car, I could see and hear the technicians arguing over each other under the hood which gave me a bad feeling right off the bat. Apparently the crew broke a plastic piece that's integral to the engine running. They said it's not their fault that the automotive industry uses plastic parts that are bound to break. Now, they have to keep my car for an estimated 4 days until they're able to get the part and reinstall it. They said they wouldn't charge labor, but will charge for the replacement part. Overall, they're nice people with fair prices, but I don't think I'd recommend their services due to the fact that I went in for a simple oil change that should take no more than 30 minutes, and ended up having to leave my car with them over the weekend, and they won't even take ownership over the issue. read more

They rush oil changes and service checks and fail to check their work; leaving items loose and then not taking responsibility for the damages it caused, or potentially could cause. They take advantage of females (for example telling them that they need more maintenance than what is necessary) After taking my vehicle in for a mass air flow fault code at my local automotive repair shop, the technician informed me that the air filter housing to intake tube band clamp was left loose; causing dirt and debris to bypass the engine air filter and contaminate my intake and throttle body. I do not recommend any vehicle maintenance or service being performed by this company. It's one thing for a technician to own up to a simple mishap; but instead aggressively removing parts; waving them in your face, and trying to argue saying "I don't get paid enough for this sh*t" , is absolutely an embarrassment and highly unprofessional. When I went to talk to Tim about the issue; he just forcibly walked up, tried to pry my gas filler door open with his fingers to unknowingly use a cheap fuel system cleaner. Giggling and telling me it's not that big of an issue or it wouldn't cause any later engine damage; standing up for his lousy employees sloppiness. There's a reason trails of oil leave this place, and I honestly cannot believe as an employee of a well known locally owned business; that you would sit out back laughing about the situation with your coworkers, instead of honestly and professionally owning up to a simple, overlooked mistake. Maybe that's a reason you don't "get paid enough for this shit" buddy... I am very unsatisfied with how they handled the situation , and I hope that if you use Eagle lube; that you check their work with a professional automotive repair center. The workers here have absolutely no customer service skills. They didn't even ask what I was there for. Just assumed it was oil change. The older guy look annoyed when I pulled up and didn't say a word. Just filled air in my tires. Cleaned my window. And had me pull up into the bay and they did an oil change. No one greeted me. No one said have a nice day. No one asked if I needed anything else done. They all just look pissed off. Yeah it's hot. And if that's the issue then find a job inside. Yes they get the job done. I have taken many vehicles to Eagle Quick lube out of convenience over the years but I will say today was my last straw. I have taken 4 different vehicles all 2017 or newer over the past 8 years and have had the same issue of the skid plate not being put back on correctly resulting in nearly damaging my vehicles. Today my mother kindly took my car (2023 VW Atlas) in for me to have its oil changed and they neglected to put the skid plate on correctly resulting in my 68 year old mother being stranded on the side of the road. I spent 164 dollars and expected a quality of service but when we called to address the issue of them not putting the plate back on correctly they took no responsibility and stated we needed to buy the screws ourselves and they would put them back in. They made a statement that there is a sign in front basically releasing them of all responsibility. I believe that this establishment is neglectful and with the number of times I have personally experienced issues I do not believe they provide a safe service. read more

We made an appointment for a transmission fluid drain and fill, an oil change and a filter replacement at 9:00 AM when we arrived there wasn't an office or visible place to wait at the front of the business so we stood where cars are supposed to enter and everyone inside pretended like we didn't exist, after about five minutes I went and ran down a mechanic and told him we had a service appointment and he said "oh talk to the girl inside" so I went back and stood waiting to get her attention and after a few more minutes she just walked past without looking and said "morning" very quietly and "it's the blue one?" (Referring to our car) to which we just said "yes" and stood kind of stunned. They were nice enough once we got things underway, however it is 10:30 as I am writing this and we're still waiting. The car is still in the air. These are two jobs I can personally accomplish in 30 minutes in my garage at home I just didn't feel like getting dirty, and we're still waiting after making an appointment, very disappointing. We actually just looked and they don't even have the oil change on the sheet so now we're going to need to get an oil change as well. Just a complete waste of time. As for the value, it's not bad. I feel their prices are fair and normal. Even on the lower side of what I'm used to. At the end when I informed them there was supposed to be an oil change at well they got irritated and one of the other guys said there wasn't an oil change and the other exclaimed "she just informed us right now." One of the girls informed us the computer system was down but if they would have just clarified when we got here because their system was down none of this would have happened. When my low mile Lexus lost a quart of oil and I spotted a puddle on my garage floor I was surprised, never happened before, so I checked out the source - Eagle Quick Lube didn't tighten the oil filter canister correctly and it was bathed in oil and dripping, covering the underside of my previously clean SUV. I tightened it myself and added oil. I called to just give the manager feedback. Immediately he went into lawyerly defense mode with a bunch of excuses that they always go by the book and have cameras to prove they couldn't possibly have made an error. As if their mechanics aren't human and incapable of having an off day. No apologies, just gaslighting that there must be some other problem other than the obvious - they failed to properly tighten the filter. So if you want the job done right and don't want a run around when it isn't - Eagle isn't the place to drop your hard earned money. Lost this local's business forever. read more

I needed an oil change last Friday and live in a rural spot, no one was available. I called Eagle Quick Lube before driving over and details the woman on the phone wasn't super helpful. I kept asking about wait time and rephrasing my question yet she kept telling me first come first serve so I drove over. They were definitely quick, the moment I showed up someone put air in my tires and read off the PSI. I had 2 cars on the line ahead of me and within 25 minutes my car was being worked on. It was a relaxed environment and they were finished within 15-20 minutes. I signed the receipt and pulled away. Immediately my car sounded differently I drove it around town and it sounded rough like it was overworking. I called my mechanic friend who asked me to check the oil the car asks for, and then check the oil Eagle used on the receipt. It was correct! I still had a noise though...I waited till Monday to take it into my local guy who is opened M-Th. He opened up the hood confirmed the oil was fine and went to test the noise. He had the car in park and put his foot on the gas. The car made that rough noise. He said, "it's your air filter" under the hood again he went to pull the housing off for the air filter and it wasn't secured! The top was just placed on top and NOT locked down, then...he realized the air filter was upside down! Underneath the upside down filter was a mouse nest!! Plain and clear, I've added the photo below. It was so thick and obvious that his vacuum couldn't even suck it up. He just grabbed it with some pliers and removed it. I thought how could the Eagle Lube guys have put in the air filter upside down, not put the housing on correctly and missed the nest? I know they're busy and that's the nature of their business, which for most things I'm sure work out. Although, In my case it didn't. My only thought is slowing down a bit and really checking off the checklist may be a good practice... read more

Not their insurance to file a claim to fix it. They didn't know that those kids have parents that are gonna sue the pants off them that they will have to close their business permanently. They are all young folk and there are about six working close together. I'm 78 yrs old with copd and cannot afford this kind of behavior. Bought my Granddaughter a 99 Mazda Miata that had just had the oil changed there a week before. A month later the engine lost all it's oil and seized up. Upon removing the engine we discovered that the oil pan drain plug had been left untightened and worked its way loose enough to lose all the oil causing it's destruction. Down for a week, one engine replacement & over $2,200. later it was back on the road. Sever months later my nextdoor neighbor said she had here oil changed there just before taking a weekend trip to Sacramento only to have her oil light come on in Meriposa. Stoping to have it checked out a good samaritan found almost no oil in the engine and upon further inspection found the oil pan drain plug loose and oil dripping profusely from the oil pan. Based on these two incidents I would have to say that the young staff is not well-trained or not paying attention or both! I would not recommend them to anyone for even the simplest automotive work. They said they asked me if I wanted it filled and I said no. There own paperwork said it was full. I confronted them with the discrepancy and they lied multiple times about what happened. I was a customer here for many years for my oil changes, and they where great, about three weeks ago I called asking how long would it take for an A/C charge was given a time frame of an hour and to come rite in (I am not to car savy but my car was not throwing any codes and it is a 2013 and I bought it brand new) Long story as short as I can get it ..... After an hour and a half of waiting I was told the testing they did showed a leak in my high compressor and that it would be another hour and additional $$$ ( at this point I am running late for an interview) So I tell them to stop the work and to give me my car back, and that I would pay them for the work they have done What do they do ? stick it on the charger anyway knowing it is just going to leak out and then they charge me $120 for a fr-eon charge that will just leak out. Not to mention they made me wait the additional hour I was hoping to avoid so that I could get to my interview on time but instead I invested 2 1/2 hours of my time and $120 for NOTHING Today I go to an amazing shop in Madera, my car was done in less than 30 minutes and the owner of the shop tells me I had the wrong o'ring on my high compressor valve ( now in my head I am thinking these crooks at eagle quick lube put an O'ring on my car I did not approve to be on my car that was the wrong fit when I had one that worked, my car is NEW and no one has ever touched the a/c before) Anyway thats my story Eagle quick lube is great for oil changes but they will rip you off for anything else there are way better places to give your hard earned $$ that wont waste your time. read more

Don't take your car here for anything other than a basic oil change because you'll pay for it in the end because that's all they're good for. Took my car here to have spark plugs and coils checked and changed on a 2017 Sonata last December and left with no noticeable change in my car's performance. Just over 20,000 miles later the plugs shorted out and had to replaced by another shop in town and spent over $370 to have the car diagnosed and the job done a second time. Went back and forth over two days with Matt and finally was told that the plugs were out of warranty when I was told the day before they could be pushed through and that the 'real' issue was my vehicle had some mysterious strange internal leak that the other tech with 25 years of diagnostic experience on cars somehow missed. Claimed to have called the previous tech to corroborate that story, yet when I called and talked to that tech personally, I found out that he was essentially thrown under the bus. Wont make this mistake ever again nor will we use them for oil changes either since I cant trust them to not spin the truth. Save yourself some money and take your car somewhere else.... read more

I've been using Eagle Quick Lube for a consistent series of oil changes over the last year. They handle the job efficiently, in and out, & with a list of items they notice while under the hood & under the truck. Thanks to their team, they identified a leak at my Rear differential, & an axle leak on my front end driver side. I was able to get back to Reno & take it to my mechanic to have the issues repaired. They also are willing to check and inflate my tires if I'm passing through. Friendly staff, & grateful for their assistance in keeping my old truck on the road safely. read more

My dad made an appointment with Matt for today at 8 AM. an appointment was made for tune up. He told him it would be around $100. My boyfriend took the car in for my parents because we all had to work. Matt told him when he arrived that the appointment is actually for 9 not 8. He asked if they could look at something very simple while they were doing the tune up and was told that, no, it was a separate issue and today is for the tune up only. Whatever, maybe there was a miscommunication. Finally we get the estimate. $40 more than the "around" $100 that was quoted. Matt seemed frustrated by Gus children running around and even yelled at another tech about some girl keeps coming to work drunk and they can't keep doing it. Anyway, my mom called in to pay fir her car and Matt refused to take the payment over the phone telling my boyfriend that it was illegal and they cannot do that. He made my dad drive half an hour to Oakhurst to pay for the car. We'll go somewhere else to get the rest of the work done. read more

Have been using them for years but no more, they rounded out the oil pan drain plug and tried to blame it on some else. Were not able to remove it because of the exhaust pipe, it would cost me several hundred dollars for a shop to drop the exhaust and remove the damaged plug. read more

I have never been so disappointed by an experience. We have been getting are car serviced here for several years and have NEVER had a negative experience. It began with an issue with the tire gauge they used. Many folks have told us that it is off and they have had issues. While they tested the pressure and told us we were 5 lbs off. My husband tested it on two gauges that showed that in fact if they let out the 5 lbs their gauge indicated we were over then we would in fact be 5 pounds lighter than manufacturer specs. When he said something to Matt he got very defensive told the hubs he was wrong and despite being shown that two gauges said other wise insisted that the gauges they use are tested weekly. He did not add the air back in and refused to acknowledge the issue. Secondly and part of this I take responsibility for...When we arrived there was no sign indicating that the pin pad was down on the card payment device and Debit was not being accepted at the time. When they took the card and asked for ID (I totally get it) my name is on the card and my husbands is not. They would not take it because I did not have my wallet with me. The way Matt handled the situation was completely off the charges. We asked if we could drive the car to the ATM at Vons, NO. "People have done that and not come back for 3 days". Ok. Can I stay here and my husband drive down and get the cash. NO. No real reason. "I tell you what you can do, you can hike down there to Vons go to the ATM and bring me cash. No apology, no offer to drive me down there , nothing but an escalating attitude, loud voice and a "could give a shit" attitude. So down I go, back up I come and now some other guy says, "Sorry for the inconvienance" and walks away. I said you should be this is no way to run a fucking (yep lost my temper). Matt chimes in with "You cant talk like that in MY business" (he doesn't own it), I said "Who are you talking to I can say whatever the fuck I want". Matt's response - "Michaela call the Sheriff if she continues to talk like that"...What??? So I said go ahead Michaela call the Sheriff. I don't know what his problem is or who he thought he was talking to but boy did he pick the wrong woman to pull this kind of crap on. 21 years in Customer Service. So if you can avoid this business please Google do. They are not customer friendly as you can read on here and (and not just from me) and having to deal with an angry, upset service provider isn't worth the money. read more
