We also got some fried plantains and an arepa from another vendor and it wasn't great. We did get a cupcake and it was FABULOUS! I would go back for another one of those in a heartbeat. I would stop in again if we were driving past in the hopes for more vendors.

They advertised that they will be there every Friday Night 5pm-9pm. They had around 18 food trucks a bouncy blow up for children, a train ride, and seating. We tried 3 food trucks and Mr Softea. Red Ginger Food Truck made really DELICIOUS Korean Bulgogi tacos! From Re di Roma wood fired pizza food truck we tried a tartufata pizza. It was ok but not as great as from someone well known nearby. We also tried Mel an Libby's Soul Food Truck. We ordered the fish and shrimp combo with a side of Mac 'n' cheese...........The shrimp were ok but in a either non seasoned or almost unseasoned batter.....My husband asked (maybe Libby?) for cocktail sauce but she didn't give him any......but then things go down hill.......The fish was fishy tasting and chewy.......(YUK!) Sadly the Mac 'n' cheese can win a prize for worst in the world.....I consider the fish and the macaroni and cheese to be substandard. We had to throw away most of this $23.50 away. We ended our Food Truck outing with Mr Softea and that was surprisingly good and cheap ($2 small & $3 large cups of soft serve with sprinkles) I didn't notice any hand washing area so bring some hand sanitizer.

And then you are going to spend a good long time at the sandwich board menu because there are options like none other. The Lost Menu, where there are so many unique items, you are going to be standing there a lil' lost and not knowing what to do, and the regular-ish menu. I stayed mostly there but smoked beef taco? Yes, please. I ordered that and also a carne asada and a birria. I felt a big piggish, but I had to. Then again, I'm glad I did because while they were packed ingredients, they were on the small side. What other restaurant gives you the option of flour, corn or homemade corn tortillas? Did I have any other choice but to order the latter? Unfortunately, one fell apart, it was so stuffed with goodness, but I won't hold that against them. The meats were all unique and delicious. I was the most confused by the smoked beef. It reminded me of some meat I had in Italy that was black but not charred and melted when I bit into it. I don't need to experience that again, but I could eat the other traditionally tender and flavorful versions daily. The three-taco combo comes two sides. I almost ordered fries but when I shifted to beans and rice, out of fairness to tradition, I got a nod of approval. But, I have a feeling I would have gotten one no matter what I did, because of patience and kindness of these Lost Burro folks. The rice was middling but those beans - didn't taste as though they'd ever seen the inside of a can. Thick, rich and flavorful. I ordered a side of consume, just because it was bone broth, and I hadn't seen that before. It was tasty, but I realized more prefer a red broth with big chunks of stewed beef. I will judge you unkindly if you give me a Jamaica that is just one step up from Koolaid. Nah, these folks had me wash it all down with icy cold tea goodness, with a star anise waiting for me at the bottom of my cup. I wish I did not live an hour away. It's not fair.
