We loved the food and the lobster tail was my favorite which was a big surprise since I'm not a big lobster fan usually. We picked the regular butter sauce for everything and it was great without being too spicy. We had crab legs, shrimp, fried fish, lobster tail, corn, and potatoes. All of our food from Krab Kingz was delicious! We had plenty to take home to eat the next day and we will definitely be back soon!

The process here (at least when we went) is order at the counter, get seated and then the food is delivered to you. So, service is kind of lacking due to no real waiter/waitress. I got the crawfish etouffee and the bread was really good. The etouffee itself might have been sitting there too long... a definitely some overcooked crawfish but it had a good flavor. Maybe earlier in the day would have been better? Overall, our entrees were fine but neither of us finished them and didn't like them enough to take the rest to go. This place fit the need for dinner but I'd actually recommend the burger place next door for better service and food.

The hushpuppies are meh too. The fries are great. You can request additional sauce like honey mustard. It's kind of out of poorly placed. Like it's in a hotel so it's mainly for the hotel residents to eat at. But additionally, it isn't enclosed so you get the rest of the hotel sounds. They do keep the tables clean. Service was fine. They have a counter for you to order food and you just walk up and ask if you need anything. It just didn't feel like a restaurant of its price point for all the above points.

My partner and I had never heard of this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We will definitely be back! Before I could even finish my first drink, they had another one already on the way. Multiple people that worked there kept conversation flowing and it felt like home. I can see why this restaurant has been so successful for many many years.

He said he'd heard the had good BBQ. So in we went. First off, this doesn't look anything like a BBQ joint. I'm not sure what kind of fine dining establishment this was, but BBQ it was not. We were checking out the menu and the gentleman behind the counter asked if we'd ever been in before and one of my coworkers said yes, but a few yrs back. The guy behind the counter turned around and hollered to someone in the kitchen that there were 3 guys who were 1st timers. A minute later, a 2nd gentleman came around from the kitchen with 3 sample cups and in each cup was what he called deboned chicken. I took my bite and swear it was some of the best smoked chicken I'd ever had. So placed our orders. I went with the deboned smoked chicken and some "moist" or fatty end brisket. And it came with some sides of your choice. He said he'd heard had just taken a brisket off and would cut mine off it. I said thank you. A few minutes later he brought out the plates. The chicken was outstanding. It had a lite drizzle of their bbq sauce, which was amazing on its own - a little sweet and a little spicy. I wish I had got some of that to go. And then the brisket. I've been eating bbq my whole 61 years I've been on the earth and this was the best I can remember ever having. Nice smoke ring, great flavor, just tender enough you didn't need a knife - just pulled apart with your fingers. And as good as their sauce is, no need for sauce. There was a lot of food so I took some home. It did not make it to the fridge. I'd like to say something about BBQ sauce. I love a good bbq sauce. My favorite is Sweet Baby Rays w/ no added sugar. Close second is Pillar's (the rum maker) "The Flavors of Earnest Hemingway" - it's a bit harder to find. But my thoughts about bbq sauce and bbq meat is that the meat should stand alone. If it needs sauce, something didn't go right. They also have a bunch of Cajun dishes and homemade desserts. Anyway, if you're ever in the Shreveport area and looking for some righteous BBQ, come check out this place.
