Paid for a buffet and there was no food up there that's wild my kids had to wait to eat

I'm sure it's been awhile since you all have had CICI's PIZZA but I honestly always have loved the place good food, great prices, family friendly environment and also great fresh take out food yea I know you have Pizza Hut, domino's etc but THIS PIZZA IS GOOD and stays fresh even the next day and doesn't lose it's quality in taste. I had the ZESTY HAM & CHEDDAR that's a pizza with NO Marinara sauce more like a zesty alfredo.......so if you are thinking pizza for lunch or dinner try the take out yummy my personal favorite 10 out of 10 for me!! First time to visit this location. I will definitely return. The dining area was extremely clean, all empty tables clean. The entire buffet was neat and clean and had a very appealing presentation. The salad bar was very fresh. The pizza was plentiful and hot and delicious. The dessert pizza was delicious. The drink area was clean and all drinks in working area. All games in the game room were in working order. Great lunch. No problems. No complaints. Great price. All of the staff was very nice polite and helpful. read more

I've been to CiCis all around the state of Louisiana. Simply put, no other establishment does it better. Quality food and great atmosphere make for a wonderful meal. You can tell the manager and his team care about customer experience. The food is also just better here than other CiCis. I've yet to have a subpar experience here and would recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality pizza buffet. read more

They have a $5.99 for a large one topping pizza deal right now (and it's actually more like $5.40). They have a pretty good pizza that tastes fine and microwaves well the next day. read more

Food has gone downhill. The wings were super tiny for $10.99 and tasted nothing like garlic parm... just grease that's dripping off. The wings are actually smaller than the picture makes them look. (Size reference included) No one was wearing a mask inside the store - including workers. They would not give me a refund but a "buy one buffet and get one free" card because we bit off of the wings. I bit one and my boyfriend tried one at the the same time. How are you supposed to know they're bad without biting them??? Went in on a Friday around 8 and they close at 10 but they were already cleaning the salad bar and had all the salad items on top of the salad bar (where it's NOT cold)! where no one could reach it unless you are 6 ft tall! There were No pizzas on the bar and you could NOT order any special order pizzas cause they said they were short handed! Before you take money from customers that come in and pay for a pizza bar if you're not gonna make pizzas and you're gonna close the salad bar down then you need to make it known to the customer that there will be no pizzas and no salad because it was closed at 8 o'clock Because they were shorthanded ! In stead of letting them pay you $13 each for a bar that had nothing on it! My husband demanded his money back! They didn't want to give it back because they seem to think that they had enough out there for him and our family, which is not true! He raised such a ruckus. They finally gave him his money back and the manager on duty was clueless! The girl at the front register was sitting up front playing on the phone because there was no customers coming in if they were so shorthanded they should've put her to work, that's what she was there for! Need to remind you this is a Friday night which they know it's always busy on Friday. Looks to me like you would've scheduled more people to be on duty instead of standing around all during the week when they are not as busy! The drink station was a disaster! This restaurant needs a deep cleaning ASAP. There are giant holes in the seats of the booths, dirt and grime everywhere, and even the dishes and utensils seemed like they had been washed very haphazardly. Won't be back! read more

Overall I prefer the Pines Rd location mainly because it tends to look cleaner. But everything is OK here too. It really depends on the time of day you go and who the workers of the day are. I try to avoid the middle of the main meal hour as they tend to have trouble keeping up with cleaning tables after customers leave as well as removing used plates from your table. One other negative I find is that the pizza toppings are not always evenly dispersed or an adequate amount. Sometimes they are made decent. I guess it depends on who is making them at the time and also if they are under a time crunch. As for myself, one or two pizza varieties on my plate bore me. OK, I guess this lets you know I eat more than two pieces in a single sitting. I will not be shamed! I will hold my head high as I eat my 5th piece, Grrrrrrr, why are you keeping count on me???? OK my 6th piece, OK OK 7th but I didn't eat the crust ends without toppings so my amount equates to no more than 5 pieces! Oh no, I forgot about their dessert. I can find room. I will MAKE room. Oops, be aware you do not want to go to their bathroom unless absolutely necessary to get you through dessert. In fact, I have never had to do a sit-down in their restroom. You better be ready to hover if you do. On the way to the bathrooms from the drink station to the doors is a grease skating rink. I have witnessed small children in too big of a hurry go down and slide. I think I would have to burn their clothes if my kids. I digress. The whole place tends to look unclean and that is what I hate most here. The ambience leaves a lot to be desired too. They have around 25 different flavor varieties of pizza. This is not even counting dessert pizzas! Something for everyone. While they always have a great selection to choose from, they won't have every one those varieties out there at the same time but if you don't see what you are craving, request it and they will get it out there most of the time. I've had to make 2nd requests because sometimes the request gets lost. I like that they have a huge variety to choose from at a decent price with kid discounts. Thin crust which I love, thick crust, and even stuffed crust which my son goes nuts over with a large strand of cheese stretching from his mouth to his slice of pizza he's just taken a bite from. Supreme, meat-eater, veggie, honey bbq chicken, spinach alfredo, chicken bacon club, Hawaiian, even mac n cheese, and Ole! and all the typical flavor offerings. We go here mostly because my little kids get excited about going and my kids always leave happy with happy tummies. So many times I take them out to eat other places and end up wasting money because they leave hungry...and often after being fussy and whiny. Mommy and daddy can have their date nights elsewhere but Cici's is primarily Kids Night. They have a small arcade room which they get excited about. Funny how all these places, not just CiCi's, present masterpiece pictures of their menu items but what is served is so inferior at least in appearance and often much smaller in size and with much less of the higher-end ingredients like meat . Their cinnamon rolls appear in the picture with a generous coating of cinnamon sprinkles on top and pretty symmetrical lines of icing glaze. What is put out appears like a person dumped some glaze on top and hurriedly brushed it around some and the only cinnamon is the bit cooked in it, icing too thick on some pieces, none on others. As long as your grab a fresh piece with a decent amount of icing, it doesn't matter much how pretty or not they are. They are a good way to fatten up. I give it three stars only cause I've never had a bad experience until now. I ordered pizza for delivery (didn't know they delivered) and when I got it, it had a hair in it. Tried calling the store and I got no answer. I'm not sure if they were closing up or what but I was so dissatisfied. I love CiCi's and it broke my heart to see that hair in my pizza. Please make your employees wear hairnets or don't have people making the food that have long hair. A waste of money is what it was. read more

The service was horrible and the lady behind the counter charged us twice. When I told the manager the lady who took my order yelled at me and said it was my fault. Then my family and I proceeded to sit down after the manager gave me my money back for the overcharge. While we were eating our food the manager and cashier looked at us and snickered. I always enjoy the salad bar and buffet. The place is clean, cool and the staff are very pleasant, and helpful. My favorite lunch spot.

Cici's is always great. My only complaint is they tend to buckle under pressure. I know they cannot predict crowds, however, there should be a well oiled plan to keep things running smoothly when they do get overwhelmed. Food is excellent. Pizzas have good flavor. To start this off I do need understand people have their bad days. However, the lady blue hair really needs a attitude check. To be honest I think she doesn't need to be working here anymore. I simply walked up to the buffet line to order a personal Alfredo pizza for me and my husband. I simply asked if they were still taking personal orders and the lady with the blue hair pulls an ear bud out of her ear and says "what?! What do you want?!" I was trying to order the Alfredo pizza but I kept saying fettuccine and she yelled at me and was like "DO YOU MEAN ALFREDO?! WHAT THE FUCK (sorry for my language) IS FETTUCCINE?!" This is my parents' favorite pizza joint. This is their #1 "cheap lunch date." It reminds me of Mr. Gatti's pizza for the next generation. It's one of those all-you-can eat pizza buffet or pizza by the slice joints. It's a open space restaurants with lots of tables and booths,and two flat screen tvs high above on the back wall, so that everyone could view the LSU game. No surprise there. I think we confused the poor girl working the register when we decided to stop in the other day. I think, I THINK, she was expecting us to order the buffet, but we threw her a tough one. We decided to order a whole pizza with half spinach and half pepperoni, and we wanted to dine in. She had to call one of the managers to help her place the order. I guess it's because most people who order a whole pizza usually take it to go? I'm not sure, but the poor little lamb looked like she was about to go in panic mode. Whoops. Manager loudly and rudely told cashiers he didn't want to see anyone else served and there was at least a 15 minute wait before they could take more money. This is our go to cheap family buffet, but we rarely go because it seems like we always end up there when families have 6 kids or more and its noisy and chaotic. But its cheap so who can fault them. Anyway, the only down votes i can give are music (even my grandmother hates the Christian music in there). Love the pasta salad. read more

Every table had plates stacked on top of them. They couldn't find the person responsible for cleaning the tables. When they did find him he took his time. This is by far the best Cicis I've ever been too. I don't frequent Cicis often but I came here with family. Wow!! I am impressed. The staff was friendly courtesy and super helpful. Always available to serve!! Also, the gentlemen with the Superman shirt was extremely helpful and ensured our experience stayed amazing. Sweaty. That's the best way to describe this place. Sweaty is the overall, dominant word that for me, encompasses the whole dining experience here. First off, it's hot as blazes outside, so you're hot coming in. You and your accompanied are hot. Other people coming in are hot. Their people are hot. Inside they have pizza ovens going nonstop. They're hot. Beau coup body heat among beau coup people plus kitchen heat equals a hot restaurant that makes everything and everybody just a big hot mess, which by the human body's chemistry default makes everybody in turn, and turn for the worse, a big, hot, sweaty, stinky mess. The patrons are sweaty. The workers are sweaty, The pizza and pasta even seems sweaty. It all grotesquely glistens. Everything and everybody has a shiny sheen to it. It almost seems like, the early 90's dance groove classic, "Gonna Make You Sweat" by C&C Music Factory (which is secretly, kinda my jam!) should be playing overhead on a constant loop, as beads of sweat form all over you like it's some sort of sweaty Mardi Gras and you choke down your sweaty slices. read more

I didn't expect much when I popped in for a quick carry out pizza craving. If you just want a standard slice, nothing fancy, this will do. This is sneaky good pizza. I actually prefer CiCi's to Pizza Hut, Papa John's or Dominoe's. Mostly because the main brands here taste different (worse) than what I remember from CA or AZ. Never eaten in, only carried out. The dining area reminds me of Chuck E Cheese without any games. There is a small arcade in back. I Always get the 2 Large for $12 deal, one cheese and one pepperoni. This is probably the more orderly of the area Cici's although kids still run around unattended, fingering the food and drink dispenser. Since the push here has been the dumb designer pizzas, it is hard to get a plain pizza. Frankly, the pizza choices and lower quality have crossed this place off of our list. read more
