Amazing selection helpful staff. Couldn't go wrong when you need tall and skinny scrubs.

This is another place where I wish I could rate this store a zero. I went to this store about a year ago and I haven't been back since. After reading the reviews I thought I could mention what happened to me. I went into the Scrub's store looking for a pair of scrubs for a new job I had just gotten. After looking through several items I felt a weird tension beginning to incline in the store. The manager was staring at me from behind her little corner desk. I went up to a rack that was right in front of her desk, and being an oblivious shopper, I placed a pair of clothing on the opposite rack. Immediately after doing this, the manager shoved her way passed her tiny desk to confront me. She felt it was necessary to shout in the store that I had placed these items on the wrong rack, not matching the color coding and that I was basically messing her store up. Everyone around me went completely silent you could hear a pin drop. The manager of this store is very blunt and rude, she does not show good customer service and she fails to help out her customers. read more

Not sure why the reviews are bad. I had a great experience. I am hard to fit and tall. The lady that was helping me was super friendly and helped me find exactly what I needed. She was kind enough to let me know there were no returns. I was ok with that because I tried on everything and loved it. She could have not said a word. The store has limited supply and is very expensive. But the thing that gets you is the owner implying ill intent when you walk in. When you want to try on clothes, she tells you "You can only try on clothes if you Intend to buy them." What? They have a NO RETURN policy and then feel the need to say something about people coming in to try on clothes and shop on the internet. PLEASE STEER CLEAR OF THIS TRASH STORE. And I made sure when I bought my one top I NEEDED that I told the rude owner (that older lady people have referenced here), her nasty comments are off-putting and if I didn't need that shirt today, I'd walk out and never come back. She's aware she is nasty. I had been warned by a colleague. I won't be back again. Lesson learned. read more

Terrible selection. Lots of weird awkward colors of scrubs, but nothing people would actually wear. Very small selection of basic colors, and overwhelming in Koi products. Did find something that I was going to purchase, and the lady ringing me up started talking about her opinions on Dr. Fauci. Ma'am, I work in medicine. Medical professionals strongly stand by Dr. Fauci. You work in a scrub store. I opted not to give her my business. Additionally, I will tell any coworker not to shop here. I was warned not to go here by coworkers prior to visiting, and should have listened to them. read more

Do yourself a favor and buy online or go across the street to Burlington. The shop owner is extremely unprofessional and rude. She says one thing, while her passive aggressive signs say another. She refuses to take returns and exchanges, when her receipt says otherwise. She blames this on COVID, when the dressing rooms are open and you are allowed to try on scrubs... Masks are not required to wear in the store, nor does she wear one. After the encounter I had with her, I will no longer be shopping there. Nor telling others to shop there. read more

The first time I called the store and had to leave a message... I never got a call back I then went into the store cause I was on that side of town. Most recently I found out I needed mastectomy camisole... bra. So I asked about their "mastectomy boutique". I was then told "oh you need an appointment... there's a long waiting list! " This was kind of big step for me... my cousin saw how unwelcoming they were. We left... She didn't want to put me on her list. I wouldn't recommend this store whether you need scrubs, mastectomy wear. This is sad when your tryna buy local. read more

I am so surprised by all of the negative reviews. I have been in this store multiple times, and have always been treated well. They do prefer to assist you in finding your scrubs so that they can keep the shop in good shape. There aren't 20 employees there to clean up after people moving clothes around. I guess my best advice is know you're approximate size, and let them wait on you. It can be a great experience. read more

I am very disappointed with the service. I came in to get new scrub tops and was rushed throughout the store. They wouldn't let me try anything on. I went to checkout and the prices for two tops was $70. It is ridiculous how expensive they were. Back to the trying on, I get that it is in covid times but my mom had to call them because the two tops didn't fit when I got home. They told my mom that I was able to try on in store even though I wasn't allowed too. Overall, very poor service. read more

If you're going to be closed for over a week, it might be a good idea to post about it somewhere before people drive all the way to Tikahtnu Commons, which is definitely out of the way for the majority of Anchorage. This is, unfortunately, the only store in Anchorage that carries good scrub brands, but I would suggest going here to figure out the sizing you need and then just ordering online. You'll get better customer service that way. read more

So rude. They were unkind and rude from the beginning. I waited outside for 15 minutes because of their 3 people in the store max (no big deal) and than they told me when I did come in that I could not try on things because they close their fitting room 15 minutes before they close. Ok so they need to have a sign or tell people when they come in. So basically waited for nothing. I drove completely across town.Also way to expensive. I will continue to order online. I came in because I wanted to try on scrubs for my job and I've ordered scrubs online but nervous about sizing. Walked in with my boyfriend, store is small but I'm not picky. Woman at the counter asked if she could help, I said no because... it's scrubs. Where we went wrong? Apparently asking where the tall pants are is a crime and deserves a condescending, "well that's why we ask if we can help." And proceeds to make more remarks about me asking one simple question. The atmosphere of the store completely changed then for me and I liked the brands this place has but attitude is everything to me, especially in a field where, "nurses eat their young" already. I don't need it when I go to buy my uniform. We will not be coming back. I will not recommend this store to my MANY nurse friends in the area. This was mind-blowing absolutely the rudest customer service I've EVER gotten. read more

Every time I've been here, the staff was polite and courteous. Honestly kinda surprised at the low scores. I always get my scrubs here and no one else I know that shops here has ever complained about anything but their hours because they get off work around the time the store closes. read more

Found scrubs I liked and stocked up because I am never going back to this store. The second we walked through the door we felt so unwelcome. The older lady working was extremely disrespectful, verbally abusive, rude and didn't even want to be helpful. Please don't work in retail/customer service if you can't even greet your customers with at least a smile. Scrubs plus is one of the best stores I've ever been to. Glena helped me with everything I needed, she was beyond helpful, happy, courteous and just all around upbeat. She helped me find things in the store that were hard to find online and for cheaper! I was in and out in no time at all. So if you're in a hurry or not they'll do everything they can to help. The other people that have written bad reviews about this place must had been having a bad day or just all around grumpy people cause I've been to Scrubs Plus more than a couple times and have always walked out happy with what I got and how much I paid.
