The bad, if you go in there expecting customer service, forget about it, there was only one guy working and he pretty well stayed hid behind a display leaning on the shelves messing with his phone. I think if my intentions are to go in and drop almost $200 on a belt, I expect some customer service, and I shouldn't have to solicit it, either. He looked up on occasion but then right back down to his phone. Sales people shouldn't be allowed to carry their phones while on the floor. If they were set on burning a potentially loyal customer into someone who will never come back, congratulations, you did it.

A few weeks later I called and they said someone with my company had already picked up my order. Strike one is that I never got a phone call from them like they said. I went to my company and sure enough, they had my stuff. However, when I got home and opened up the package, I found out they never embroidered anything, and that was strike 2. I called them to complain and the lady said she was with a customer and that she would call me back but she never did and that is strike 3!! Get your act together please is all I ask!!

We have done business with Unifirst for 5+ years, and it has been a constant fight with incorrect…read morebilling, Unifirst losing shirts or pants, and getting the correct credits given at the time of billing. I constantly am hounding them to take people off of our billing that have been GONE for months, but we are still getting billed for them. We stayed when our contract came up for renewal the first time, because our rep at the time was fantastic and always was on top of things that needed to be taken care of. Unfortunately, after renewing, we have had several other reps and the service is less than desired. Today, as an example, several things were marked for credit by the rep, but only a portion of it was applied to the total. When I talked to him about it, he said it was too late to fix it and would add the credit to the next bill. OK, but the problem is, this is an ongoing issue and I have already been told this before. I audited our account for all of 2023 to current (I did not have the time or energy to go back further) and found over $3000 in credits that are due to us. I have even sent this into their billing department and higher ups. Their answer was that the rep has to take care of it. His answer, I can't credit past bills. I am so tired of having to double check their work and keep spreadsheets of all the discrepancies on every bill, with no results. This is like being tied to the Mafia, because in order to get out of the remaining time on the contract, we would have to pay 10's of thousands. When our contract is up, we will not renew this time.

For the prices they want, we should be able to find the shoe, immediately locate it below or above the display, grab and go. There are shoes in boxes that aren't displayed, there is no help, absolutely pitiful, not what I expected from an Academy store. I would have given 0 stars, but the young man at the gun counter, with multi-colored hair, was phenomenal with help and customer service, these stars I gave are for him, and him alone. Academy better watch out, I might go back and try to recruit that young man to work for me.
