The main pharmacists and others since have invariably been attentive and helped above and beyond the general care and caring. It has grown since the 22 years when I began as a customer. In all that time I have received exceptional attention. Once, recently, a single prescription was not delivered on time and when I called to find out what the happened the response was surprise with immediate remedying of the situation and bountiful apologies. Only once in 22 years and yet here on Yelp I read two negative reviews. Hard to figure out how that could have happened. They are by far the best and I have used many pharmacies in 5 cities of 3 countries. Thank you Advanced Health on Oakland near Centre!

One of the worst pharmacies I've ever used. The first month they did pill packs with scripts I…read morewasn't even on listed. Then month after month there were struggles to get simple things completed. I have waited over a month for refills with no movement, last week my husband followed up on these scripts and was told they weren't filling them since I already had a refill. I have new insurance and these aren't controlled substances so my husband reiterated to fill it now. Today after my husband received a refill and I spoke to the driver asking where mine was. I called the pharmacy and was transferred twice on my lunch break. I gave up and am finding a new pharmacy for myself and my family because they have proven once too many times by delaying scripts and writing the wrong scripts on pill packs they can't be trusted. Our health is at stake with these people.

We loved our old provider, but to stay in network we needed to change, so we went about the switch with the most positive attitude we could. From the start Lincare made things difficult. There were lost faxed prescriptions from our doctor which took weeks to sort out. We had to make an appointment (during business hours only when we work) to review supplies that we had been using for over five years. After we had our initial supplies straightened out, there were issues with the first delivery and the wrong supplies being delivered. Then we had problems with returns and the cost of the supplies. For each issue we had with Lincare I had to call the local office, then I had to call the supply line only to be told the local office had the answer. After calling the local office back I would be told I needed to call my insurance company. After a typical phone call mess of two hours I would end up calling back in frustration to the supply line and simply never get an answer to my question. During the year we had Lincare deliver supplies - they were supposed to call and send new supplies every 4 months - they called me every two weeks to ask if we needed supplies even after I asked repeatedly that they stop. My guess is, even after we switch to a new company, they will still call to ask if we need new medical supplies. Today after spending two hours on the phone to figure out the price of one small medical supply I gave up and called our insurance company. I asked for a new updated list of companies and we switched to another medical supply company this afternoon. When I told the new company who is currently delivering our supplies they immediately sighed and asked how much of a nightmare our lives have been over the past year. Apparently, Lincare has a reputation.

Turns out they don't process the card that day, they keep it on file until after insurance a few weeks later. They don't even ask if this is okay and anyone could have my card numbers on file. I had to request to take it down when I never even had an account or anything. Imagine a coffee shop worker entering your card info in their computer where anyone has access, not telling you, and you having to request it to be removed? Absurd. So the workers I talked to were all nice but this is illegal. You can't hold card info in Michigan without authorization.

Our doctors at Bronson are amazing, and I've had great surgeries and care there. This was the first…read moretime I used the pharmacy as an outpatient. My doctor suggested they'd be fast, which is a good thing when you're waiting for an antibiotic. Here's the unusual thing: the pharmacy is located IN the gift shop! Yep. The staff were very friendly and kind. There are only four chairs for waiting, which was unexpected, given that it is a pharmacy and people aren't well. I had two prescriptions, and they weren't filled at the same time. The first one was filled very quickly (thank you!), but the very nice woman helping me and I were both surprised that the second hadn't been filled. She sent for it, and meanwhile, a slew of people came in, which meant 7 people in front of me when my name was called, and some tension with people in line between names being called and people already waiting in line. Uff. I will note that everyone working there was friendly and professional, and my 3 star rating is based on having to wait longer and stand in line twice. I am sure this happens infrequently. As a side note, besides gifts in the gift shop, you can buy otc meds, medical supplies, makeup, personal hygiene items, and the like.

They have lots of what I think of as comfy old lady gear -- they have a brand of clothing that looks a lot like Lilly Pulitzer but is less expensive, cozy slippers, Vera Bradley bags. Great place to shop for Mother's Day basically. There's a full aisle of Hallmark cards, another aisle of wrapping paper and other gift wrapping items, lots of yummy candies including big brands like jelly belly and Russell Stover and a local section featuring Hellman's nuts and candies. They also have a full service pharmacy, and an ice cream shop at the front of the store.

They are in direct violation of Michigan Act 469 of 2008 requiring business to let people use the bathroom who have a medical condition. I know their bathroom is in the stock room but they could partition the access to the john. Also, there were more than two people working at the time. Won't be back.

Eliquis is still on patent so it will cost a small fortune to get the meds he needs! We are switching pharmacies!
