They told my wife when she picked them up that they would try a second chemical to see if they could get it to come out and that if not we can discuss replacement. After I brought the jeans back to them to try the second chemical it didn't remove the stain. The manager told me that there was never any discussion about replacement and that they would never would have said anything like that (they told me that twice and my wife once!). I work in a business where my word is my bond and I hold others to the same standard. I'm not one to complain about this kind of thing, they've burned starch on my jeans a couple times and I let it slide. I don't like being lied to. They weren't cheap jeans and now I'm out $100. When I went on The Laundry Spot's website I saw that they offered this service so figured I'd give them a try. I had a few questions so I called the number listed on the home page of the website, and the woman who answered referred me to another number for the pick up and delivery service which turned out is also listed if you click on the "delivery" link. I got an answering service and left my contact info and within minutes, James the owner called back and answered my questions and walked me through the process of setting up an account so that I could do the online scheduling myself. There were 3 convenient windows of times to select from for both pick up and delivery so I scheduled pick up between 8am-11am on Tuesday and delivery during that same timeframe the next day. I got a text a minute or so prior to them arriving both times and they were both within the scheduled timeframes. Since the home was unoccupied those days, I was able to text them the temporary door code I set up remotely and allow them to pick up and drop off inside in the entry way. The laundry consisted of two full sets of bedding, several towels dish towels, etc. All came back perfectly clean and nicely folded. Online I was able to select the type of soap (or even provide my own if desired), optional softeners, and add any specific instructions such as cold water, gentle cycle etc. I am so thrilled to have found this service! Since I'm a big fan of USEFUL technology, I'm very happy that I can do all of the scheduling from my smart phone, including paying the invoice. I was initially apprehensive about providing my credit card info and wanted to be sure the info was encrypted and secure. The owner, James, patiently explained to me that he's partnered with a few different technology platforms in order to make it possible to do all of this online, so it's all very secure and tested. One thing to note: because of the way the various platforms are linked, you see different URLs when you schedule versus looking at your account versus payment, but after it's set up it's a piece of cake. And best of all, the laundry comes back beautifully clean and nicely folded without me having to do a thing (I have back problems) so this is a wonderful solution for me. And the pricing is incredibly reasonable. I highly recommend trying this laundry service and supporting a great local Austin business!

Also, the bar and stools provided do not match up; I'm a tall person but I felt like a kid sitting at the bar, which is where the outlets are if you need to charge your device. When I moved to the lounge chairs, they are old, with a lot of the covering stripped of, showing the fabric underneath, and when you sit in them, there is no practical padding left, and you sink to the boards underneath. They advertise themselves as a replacement for Harvey Washbangers, but they fall well short of that mark. On the plus side. The lounge chairs are an easy fix, as is having their vendor replace the soda and snack machines with units that accept electronic payments. The only difficult part would having the bar lowered to a reasonable height. In short, not as pleasurable an experience as Harvey Washbangers (even when I didn't get food or drink), but a serviceable laundromat, if they will make minor changes.

Today I decided to do it myself the attendant has a wonderful spirit and so helpful to me about how to run the machines. They have coin changers to convert bills into dollar coins that work the washers. Dryers are .25 cents for 6 minutes, the have washers from 8.75 to 3.25 Place is very clean and neat. Highly recommend this establishment for all your needs when it comes to laundry.

Jim and Julie don't have a drop off service but they did it just especially for me. They picked up my laundry and then returned it the next day in person the two of them! And while they were here, they prayed for me for my surgery, and it was a wonderful prayer and It was a prayer That I know that went straight to the ears of God. Seems as though everyone in town parks here and throws their dip on the ground. The owner should have the parking lot sprayed down at least a couple of times a week. You can pay with quarters or you can get the DexterPay App and pay that way. The app charges a lot more though. Definitely the nicest laundromat in town. The address keeps showing up as E Milam Ave but the actual address is 1529 Milam Suite A. It's in the same plaza as Stoney's Liquor, across the street from Tractor Supply.
