Was looking to buy a boat from our neighbor but they hadn't run it in a couple of years. Called Grey and he gave me timeframes to bring it down so they could go through it to check it all out. Called his cell day of and we met at the shop. We talked through what he wanted to do with it and prices. His quotes were cheaper than most places I had called. Gray said if anything pops up that needs to be addressed and it would cost more he would call to make sure we wanted to proceed. Because of the time if year I wasn't in a crunch to get it back right away but I went to pick it up a few days later. There were a LOT of boats getting worked on there so that was comforting. This is the first review I've written in my 41 years of life. My experience with Gray and Andrea was so horrendous it's warranted. It started off good. I had a conversation with Gray about some things I would like to potentially have done over the winter, while they stored our boat. We discussed replacing the Seadek on the swim platforms, or fixing the corners that were coming up a little, maybe doing the whole boat. He was going to get us a quote and and was going to meet us at his shop that next day to see if there was a color we liked. He was also going to get us some options and quote for some audio head unit replacements along with fixing a gouge in the gel coat, and detail the boat in the spring. He also stated that if he was going to be doing some work on our boat he would take care of the winter storage. We were supposed to meet and discuss these things and come up with a plan the next day and see what we were going to do. He did not write any of this down or write up an agreement of what we wanted or his plan. "He got too busy". Fast forward. We tried to get a hold of them numerous times throughout the winter. Call, email, text both Grey and Andrea. Nothing, no response whatsoever. Then Andrea emails me an invoice in the middle of January for winter storage... Okay... Guess they are alive and their email works. I explain to her what our arrangement was, she says to talk to Gray. Great! I would love too! Try to get a hold of him again.... guess what?? Nothing, no response, numerous attempts made. She sends the invoice again a week later for storage. I pay it, at this point I don't want anything from them. I just wanted my boat back. Of course they don't respond. Finally they email me back in March. I tell them I want my boat back at the end of April, she states she can't get it out. We agree on April 28th. On the way there, which was at a different place than where we dropped the boat off in the winter, I get an invoice for $792.73 for detailing the boat and removing the Seakdek on the back of the boat. This is not something we talked about doing! When we get there, the back of the boat is completely bare. The Seadek is ripped off, along with my coastguard registration name. All Gray said was "You told me to do that". When asked about the other things we talked about doing to the boat that weren't done, all he said was "You told me to do that". We never told him to do that. Why would you rip it off and not have a plan to replace it? Gray's excuse for not getting back to me ever was that "he was in Florida for the winter". Phones, emails, texts work in Florida... Been there plenty of times. Andrea's email sure worked when she sent me the invoice for storage during the winter. And if you were going to be in Florida for the winter, how would you work on a boat in MN? We are not the first people they have done this too. They are out for your money, DO NOT do business with these people. I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt, that they are just that clueless. But there is just too much evidence that points to them being swindlers. Just trying to take advantage of anyone they can is the only logical answer. read more

Simply put, this place is beyond a poorly run business by people who should not be running a business. I dropped my boat off on May 7th for a simple detail and speaker install with a little trailer maintenance. I was told they were busy but that I'd get it back by Memorial Day Weekend. Week of Memorial Day Weekend comes around and was told she got in a car accident and broke her hand but would have it by Friday. Friday comes and I'm told they're working late on it and will set it outside the shop come to be ready to be picked up Saturday morning. I get there early Saturday morning, no boat. They said they'll be there in a half hour to let me in. Almost TWO HOURS later they show up with the boat not even close to being done. (Oh, and NO broken hand. Can't make this up people.) Dirtier than when I left it, one of two speakers installed (the guy had to put the other one in while I waited) and the trailer wasn't even close to being thought about. I took the boat back to my house and cleaned the inside of it myself and was told they'd personally pick it up and finish it themselves next week. Ha! Only took them several days of saying they were "on their way" to pickup to be lied to multiple times. Finally they picked it up a week later and when I was told they'd have it done and deliverd by Saturday, I didn't get it till Monday and missed another weekend of boating. While the buff and acid wash looked fine, the inside was beyond trashed (as I told them to not detail it because I did it myself but yet again, was much dirtier than when I left it) and the trailer maintenance was still not acknowledged. Took a few bucks off for the "delays" but still CHARGED ME FOR A FULL DETAIL. When told they'd come pick it up and clean it up for me, I wasn't holding my breath as I've reached out twice to no avail. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS. read more

After emailing and speaking with Andrea (multiple times) for more than a couple of weeks, I signed a contract for them to pick up an Airstream Trailer in W. Palm Beach, Florida. They offered a window of time from Dec. 29th thru Jan. 4th. They then asked if they could pick it up on the 29th or 30th. We agreed on Saturday the 30th. I then get an email Friday morning the 29th asking if they could pick it up at Noon. I worked with the Company that was storing it, and they said that a 5:00pm pick up would work, and that they needed to get the key for the ball lock. I call Andrea and she says that the driver would be there right at 5:00. Would have been perfect, but the driver shows up around 3:00pm. It was explained that the key would not be there till 5:00. The driver says he's not willing to wait the two hours and abandoned the pick up and drove North with out the load! He just said F it and took off! Not only screwing me, but also screwing multiple people in the process. The company had to move many other vehicles and their schedules around. The seller made a trip over with the key for nothing, and now I'm starting over, looking for a reputable hauler! Andrea would not answer my following phone calls and offered ZERO communication after her email that said the driver bailed on the load. Not even an apology! These people are absolutely horrible business people, and know nothing of customer service! read more

Zero stars if it were an option. Have owned boats for 40+ years and this was BY FAR the worst experience I have ever had. Perhaps worst experience of ANY customer service organization! Had a boat delivered in the spring of 2016. First, they delayed the delivery by three weeks which is somewhat understandable but NO communications at all. Tried to call them with no response... tried to e-mail them with no response... finally had to call the marina to see if they had communicated with them which they had not. When they eventually set up a delivery date, again they didn't bother to call the marina and coordinate and almost delivered on a Saturday .... when the lift operators were not available. To top it off, they damaged the boat in transit and when I tried to coordinate a repair, they refused to take responsibility though the boat had a marine survey done prior to transit with no major issues noted. His excuse was, and I quote, "I don't normally do sailboats. I shouldn't have done this one." Doh! You tell me this AFTER you damage my boat and take my money. Later they offered to do the repair within a week and to offer a special price on detailing the boat to make up for the inconvenience. Made a date to meet them at the marina and they were a no-show. Again, no communications for a month until I reached out. This time the they said he would have to wait until fall haul-out to do the work. Fast forward to October and haul-out. I called them to set up a time for the repair but Owner Gray re-negged on the offer and will not even do the hull repair. Customer service and responsibility is not even in the equation with the amateurs who run this company. Would I recommend them to anyone? Only to enemies. read more
