I'm a big pizza lover!! I try all kinds of pizzas. I always have pizza on Fridays. The quality of the sauce, dough, and toppings are important. For one thing, they're very limited on the toppings. Not much of a variety. They hardly put much toppings on the pizza. I was particularly surprised at how the Italian sausage looked. It was finely ground. It made me think it was a cheap quality. Whatever type of sausage they have, it made the pizza very salty even though there wasn't much on the pizza. The dough was very chewy to be handmade thin crust. The dough seemed bland and lacked flavor. Staff is friendly and the pizzas were served quick and hot which is the reason I gave 2 stars. I didn't quite care for the pizza. The one thing they did get right for me is the name. This place is "scratch" off my list of favorite pizza spots. read more

Made my first ever trip to this place today for lunch and I may have just found my new favorite place for pizza. Who would think one of the best pizzas I've ever had would be in the heart of Norco. We ordered their Tuesday special which was a $10 pizza with up to five toppings which is a steal! We ordered chicken, artichoke, mushroom and ricotta cheese and that combination was incredible! I've been wanting to come to this place ever since they popped up on Yelp and I can see my self coming back more and more. Besides just having great food this place has an incredible staff. There was a little mix up on our order so out of nowhere they brought us a whole pepperoni pizza before our actual pizza to make up for the mix up. That wasn't necessary but any place that does that really cares about the people coming into there business. Can't wait to try every other thing they have on their menu. I wasn't sure what to expect when I saw "handmade pizza". I learned soon enough. I'm a vegetarian so having more than just a plain cheese option was a very pleasant surprise. I sampled the regular cheese pizza, the 3 cheese pizza and the Vegetarian pizza. Let me say that all 3 were delicious. My favorite however was the Vegetarian pizza. There was a plethora of vegetables on the pizza. That was the first thing that I noticed. The sauce was very tasty. The crust? I never eat all of my crust on a pizza and I did on all of my pieces of pizza here at Scratch so that says a lot about the quality of the crust. My pizza didn't fall apart nor was it soggy. Definitely some of the best pizza around. I got the Scratch Classic (medium) which already comes loaded with a bunch of toppings, but I had them add chicken to it. The sauce was tasty, the crust was crispy (not burnt) on the bottom, real fresh grated mozzarella, plenty of fresh vegetables, and the meat (pepperoni, sausage, chicken) was flavorful and cooked to perfection. All for a very reasonable dine-in price of $11. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because they refused to give me thin crust. The owner obviously takes pride in his dough because it was delicious. Maybe a thin crust wouldn't hold the toppings as well as his perfectly designed portion, but I feel I should still be able to order it that way. That's my only complaint, so if you love great pizza then definitely try Scratch. read more

So far the best pizza in the area. Pizza dough and sauce is made in house each day and you can taste the difference. The staff in house are still learning the ropes but their goal to get your order right and make sure you are satisfied is not missed in the amazing dedication and effort that they put into each order and every customer. There scratch mix is similar to a supreme pizza. It tastes great and is not over cooked. The pizza dough comes out cooked but not crispy as it is not fried in oil but cooks directly on the oven. The BBQ chicken pizza is full of flavor and you can tell with each bite that this pizza is well balanced. Not over powered by the sauce but also not piled high in cheese. they do offer extra cheese for those who want piles of it. Overall as this place works out the kinks and things fall into a rhythm it will be the go to to place in Norco for pizza. Saw an ad on Facebook for this place....very excited to see the cauliflower crust :D Tried it tonight for the first time. The cauliflower crust pizza was fine....I'd def order again for myself. The problem was with the regular pizza that I ordered for the rest of the family....Got home and the dough was raw. How in the world can you make a thin crust pizza and have it still be under cooked?!?! I had nothing else to serve them, so they ate the toppings from the pizza. The side salad I ordered....they gave me a bowl of lettuce with croutons. Don't know where the "house salad" went...missing the tomatoes and olives and cheese. I can only assume this is there "caesar salad"...which I didn't order...I wanted the house salad. So, first visit to this chain.....3 items ordered....1 item was fine....1 was not cooked enough to be eaten, and 1 was the wrong item. So I don't think we'll be returning to Scratch :( read more

We normally order from the Riverside location but this time we switched it up. Big mistake. My husband called it in on his way home and was told 15 minutes, he got there in 20 to only be told they were just putting the pizzas in the oven. So once the pizzas were finally done, he was being cashed out and realized they didn't put his garlic knots in the bag. So the kid went back and got the garlic knots. The butter from the garlic knots got all over the place. Not to mention the marinara sauce was just thrown in the bag, literally. I have pictures as well. Open the pizzas and the pepperoni pizza has no cheese on it!!! I mean at this point I was not happy. So I call and was told by Kyle that the manager was extremely busy and would get to me when they could, super friendly. After about 5 minutes on hold I just hung up and decided to write this review. I'm not one to complain but nothing went right with this location last night from the time it was suppose to be ready to the pizza. Been here twice both times pizza was excellent! This by far is the best pizza you can get in Norco. Prices are very reasonable. 1st time was dine in. Not my preference of atmosphere for dining,so since the pizza was so good we just did a pick up the next time. Each time we got two regular sized pizza with 3 toppings for 7.99 ea. We have ordered from Scratch 2 times, both of them the delivery was late by 30 min one time and 20 min the next. We complained and they gave us a credit. We tried them two weeks later using our credit and the pizza was late again and it was cold. The quality of the pizza was good and it had good flavor. If you are going to give it a chance I highly suggest you dine in; DO NOT GET IT DELIVERED. I only gave a 3 star review because the pizza was good but again the delivery needs help or another driver so they don't have as many stops per each delivery. read more

Great service, food and prices... (not just pizza, but pasta and salads too...I visit this Norco location at least a couple times a week... I'm always greeted with a smile by my name and the food is always ready and the order accurate. Most days I place my order over the phone and speak to Cole who really is great (there is another guy there about the same age but I can't remember his name (I think he might be a manager... he's always making pizzas and monitoring what everyone else is doing)) they are both awesome!!! anyways, they have a great staff, great food and consistency. I've gone out of my way to help support this business whenever I can because the people here truly make it worthwhile. If I have one complaint, it's just that they're closed Mondays, but if it keeps their employees smiling and happy it's worth it. I like traditional sausage pizza but I went for the andouille sausage and it was fantastic! With all the bland pizza chains in Norco this place is a no brainier because it compares in price, has solid lunch offers, call ahead orders, select pizza slices, and the quality is much higher than those said pizza chains! This is all through a 7 month period.... Well I am giving 2 stars cause the pizza has good flavor at least fromthepizzas i order. I order pizza 2-3 time a month. Sometimes 4. The bulk of it is through scratch. I have had 3 bad experiences with scratch i believe it all to be due to the customer service experience. 1st time the pizza shifted in transit so one side of the pizza had nothing on it. I called, the guy was a hard ass his name was Eric should have fix it right away but no he insisted to fight with the customer but finally got a credit after 7 minutes. 2nd time I order garlic better crust didnt get it, its only a dollar for each pizza so 4 dollars not a big deal right? Wrong Eric decided once again he insisted he put the in the oven him self after 5 minutes of arguing i should have got what I paid for or a 4 dollar credit nope... I left it at that and gave them a month break and got my pizza elsewhere. Orderd pizza again was great order pizza again was great then the the day the reason for this review came. I order 3 pizzas this round cause one of the boys where out and didn't need the normal 4. 3rd Strike One was a margarita pizza first time ordering this blaaaaa never again for sure but the real reason is I did the large 4 topping build your own and one ingredient was wrong so I called Was transferred to Eric once again and he said they made what the computer said. I sad no he said yes I said no. I was feed up at this point and at the last word he said it must have been a user error. Tried this Pizza today based on yelp reviews and was very disappointed. This place has mixed reviews and experiences so I figured I would try it for myself. We ordered a medium pepperoni pizza and an order of cheese bread. The flavor was ok but for some reason the entire pizza crust on both items was hard to chew. We couldn't figure out if it wasn't cooked properly or if it was bad dough? Needless to say my family of three had one slice each threw the rest out. Don't plan on ordering Scratch Pizza ever again! In Norco for lunch on a Saturday and decided to try Scratch. Family shared a salad and a pizza. The place is nice looking and the service was great. The salad we started with came with lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, and olives. A nice combo but a little light on the dressing. As far as the pizza, it was pretty good. The crust was crispy and held up well. The cheese and toppings were good. There was a bit too much sauce and it was a bit overwhelming but that is a minor point. The only negative was the pizza got cold quickly. I liked it enough to give the place another try. Consistency is the key! read more

Amazing!! I was waiting for the cauliflower crust to come to this location to try it. I almost couldn't believe it didn't have some type of flour in it. Delicious. My family had regular pizza and I didn't feel deprived just having a salad with the cauliflower crust, while hey had pizza. Also, the garlic parmesan may well have been the best wings I have ever eaten. Wish they had iced tea, and maybe some craft soda, but so far wonderful. Will be back!! read more
