Katie was easy to work and we arranged everything via email and phone. FOOD is AMAZING! Flavorful crab soup, seafood paella, short ribs and large crab cakes were part of our catered menu. Taste Events set up the buffet for us at our beach rental and everything was fresh and hot. My family could not stop raving about the food. Would highly recommend this company for any event large or small. We were a small party (only 10 of us) and the serve and food was excellent. Thanks Katie and the rest of the Taste Events team for making our 50th birthday memorable!

Our guests could not stop complementing about how good the food was . We started planning this event just over a year ago and worked with Katie Green, meeting on many occasions during that time as well as having a food tasting she setup for us. Katie represents this company very well...very professional, informative and so helpful, help that we needed since this was our first reception to plan. She was with us from the very beginning to the very end often going above and beyond the call of duty. She helped us not only with the food planning but with the rental needs and helped coordinate all of this with the rental company. Also, we have eaten several meals at a couple of the restaurants, mostly at Hooked Up and a lunch at Off the Hook. The service and food at these places are a great indicator of how our catering experience was, fantastic! We are in the area about once per month for the weekend and always look forward to having dinner or lunch with them. Again, Thank You Katie! and Taste Events and all of the staff that were at our event....friendly, helpful and the food was incredible! LikeShow more reactionsCommentShare

The sandwiches at Flora and Fauna are OFF THE CHARTS! This woman does not mess around - she's…read morecooking from her heart and puts a lot of craft and care into everything she makes. Today we had a Cubano and a ham and Brie sandwich, both on ciabatta bread. Both were excellent in flavor, freshness, and moisture. The bread was crisped perfectly on the panini maker. The ham and Brie had a healthy amount of meat and cheese along with crisp, tasty apple slices. The Cubano had a very classic flavor: the pork was roasted to perfection, tender ham slices, provolone, and the mustard/pickles were perfectly portioned. The sandwiches are nicely sized and, for the price, satisfy your hunger. She makes her sandwiches like she's making them for herself and I'm so here for it! I've had her chili previously and would also recommend it highly. The shop is full of fun foods to take home to make or to put together a charcuterie board. Run, don't walk, to this shop! I've been here three times now and can't wait to go back again. This place is a hidden gem that deserves a big ole spotlight!

I ordered Eggs Benedict (2 eggs) with salmon for $20, and small glass of grapefruit juice for $9, and coffee for $3.50 with endless refills. We were immediately greazed and seated and within a couple of minutes our server welcomed us and asked for choice of beverages. This is no fault of the establishment, but I was next to and older woman and 2 adults who talked loudly to each other about medical issues and then loud telephone conversations. Noise canceling headphones would have been useful for me today. My eggs with a generous portion of latka came within about 12 minutes. As mentioned, the portions are immense. Upon entering a woman advised me to share my order with someone else, and many people were departing with "doggy bags." The food was delicious and coffee fresh. Our server was most attentive, and the restroom and restaurant quite clean. This is definitely a place to dine at least once whilst in Lewes. I know that I shall return!
