I never felt like we were pushed or rushed to find a house or look at more houses. We looked at as many houses as we wanted to and she would work with the listing agents to coordinate times for showings that worked with all of our schedules. Once we found the house, her and our lender worked together seamlessly to get the offer out, and communicate with the seller of our home. Ashley Riordan was also extremely helpful with getting bids from contractors to fix the things our inspector found. She also dealt with the many questions I had. We ran into extreme difficulty with Erin's Team when completing home renovations. One of Erin's agents acted as a general contractor securing services, scheduling work repairs, and securing payment for said services. We had an especially difficult time with one of the contractors enthusiastically recommended by Erin's agent. When this contractor fell through and did not complete services rendered after have receiving a generous down payment Erin's Team walked away from any responsibility. We have reached out to Erin and have received radio silence. We have also submitted a critical review of services rendered on Zillow and Erin's Team has successfully had that review removed in essence silencing any voice of dissent or dissatisfaction with their services. Not very politically correct especially in Portland, Oregon where there seems to be an emphasis on ethics and consumerism. Extremely disappointed. The hardship that this caused us both economically, emotional and mental stress is beyond words. Unfortunately Erin's Team did not rise to the challenge of admitting missteps on their end and instead resorted to being deceptive. Erin's Team holds a five star rating but now it is quite clear that any difficulties or opposition that they encounter are quickly removed to eliminate them from the public record leaving their clients in a difficult situation.

Shawni was very patient throughout the process, understood our needs, gently steered us away from neighborhoods that didn't fit our criteria, and served as our advocate when dealing with prickly property management companies. It's worth the money to focus on packing up, rather than searching endlessly on Zillow. We highly recommend Shawni and wouldn't hesitate to hire her again, even for a local move!

Last year, I reached out for assistance and was only provided with a spreadsheet that had dozens and dozens of local properties listed with some highlighted that supposedly met my criteria (a dog, for one). Very few of them met my criteria. Frustrating to say the least, so after a bit of back and forth I realized that this service wouldn't work and ended up finding a place on my own. What to my surprise when I got an invoice for $150. For a spreadsheet and a few email exchanges? NO. So now they have sent me to a collection agency for refusing to pay for services not rendered. Clearly expectations were not set or met. You're better off doing an internet search for free.
