I first met Marta Flori when I went to an open house that my wife and I were kind of interested in. We had been looking at houses for the better part of 4 years, but we really didn't find anything that piqued our interest. I honestly had no intention of really purchasing a house the time we met, but I gave her my contact info and she asked me some questions on what we were looking for in a home. To be honest, I was as vague as possible because I wasn't really committed to it at the time.
Soon after meeting her, she called me a few times asking if she could help us with anything, once again, I was kind of beating around the bush on the whole deal. I happened to go to another open house on another weekend and Marta happened to be the showing agent there as well. What are the odds? Anyway, I had a discussion with my wife and, because of Marta's persistence, we decided to give her a chance and see what she could do for us. We really didn't want to be an inconvenience for her as, like I said before, we'd been looking at houses for years and had been taking our time. I have to say, when we started working with Marta, the timing was right and, maybe, the stars aligned for everything to work out for us.
After looking at a few properties, she was extremely patient with us and seemed genuine. We finally found a house that we were very interested in and decided that it was the one we wanted to purchase, a slightly older fixer-upper. This was probably one of the more bizarre, and longest, real estate transactions I've been through in terms of things and events playing out like they did, but it was a pleasure working with Marta and it probably would not have happened with any other agent.
Marta was always available and on top of things when we asked questions. She provided sound, money saving advice and even thought of things to look into when dealing with an older house, which we had no experience with. Even when it came down to making an offer on the home, she was extremely supportive of what we were trying to do, but also gave us some "drawback" scenarios, which we loved because we are always trying to plan ahead.
We eventually came to a deal we were happy with and closed on a home when we didn't think we were ready to buy. We are extremely excited to get the house remodeled and moved in soon!
Marta is a top-notch agent who is non-judgmental, patient, persistent, consistent, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful and we are glad we had her guide us through this experience. I would definitely, without reservations, work with her again in the future. read more
