Very bad experience…read more Movers were 20 minutes late. Then they had no mattress/box spring covers as promised when i got the quote. I had bought some originally when going to move by myself without movers but then wanted to return them since i had to book movers and they were to provide but they didn't have any so had to use my own (extra $20 out or my pocket). I was literally moving just across the street and had only a few things to move --- a bed, 2 bedside tables, dresser, standing desk, 0 boxes bc had moved everything else myself already. Out of those few things they moved- they damaged my wood bedside table (part of a matching set so now can't use both of them) and damaged my bed frame. I have pictures of both the day before with no damage which proves they did the damage to both. Also keep in mind i only used 2 hr of the 4 minimum i had to book with them. So they only had to work half the time and move a few items and still those few items got damaged just from moving them to an apartment building next door. They offered me $60 for the damage, i felt i was owed at least $200 discount but all they would come up to was $100 off. Do NOT recommend. Wish i had just finished my move myself without hiring the movers at all

During the move, I repeatedly asked about protecting my items, especially fragile furniture and TVs, and was reassured. Despite that, multiple items were damaged, including my bed frame, TV, table, and damage to building/property areas. The movers also did not complete the full job properly. They refused to take one of my TVs, did not take mirrors and picture frames, left many boxes behind, and did not stack the truck correctly, leaving unnecessary empty space in a 10x15 truck. Because of this poor packing and incomplete work, my Partner had to spend the entire next day finishing the move , rent another U-Haul, and pay additional people to help complete the job. There were also delays and poor communication regarding arrival and access to the destination. When I raised concerns about the damages, overcharges, and incomplete work, I was not given a proper resolution and was told not to contact them further without a legal team. I strongly recommend getting every charge in writing beforehand and being extremely cautious before using this company.

I used East Coast Shipping for a move from South Florida to Montreal Canada. Being an international…read moremove, I was somewhat nervous about selecting the perfect moving company. I started the process by requesting quotes from many different moving companies. East Coast shipping was not the cheapest nor the most expensive but very quick to respond to my questions. Even when questioning East Coast Shipping for the actual customs process in Canada, I verified on my own with Canadian Customs and what EC Shipping had stated was exactly the same as the actual Customs' officer stated and exactly what happened with my shipment. The company was able to pick up my items (56 boxes) on the day I wanted and almost on time (crew was delayed an hour but I was notified of the delay). I was told about 2 weeks for the shipping process and at 10 days I was notified that the shipment would arrive within a day or 2 at Customs for me to physically go and clear. All paperwork was send in perfect order, clearing took less than an hour and the movers could have delivered same day (I opted for a few days later as I needed to coordinate with HOA). No hidden fees, no delays, no issues. I had one mug and one glass broken within the 56 boxes which is expected with an international move. I had a great experience with the company.
