We have traveled long distances for or Friday fishfry. This time to Marshfield Wi. Scotty's PIZZA has an excellent friday fish fry at a reasonable price. Noted for pizza, they have a large menu of burgers, chicken, sandwiches. Try their pizza buffet on tuesday from 11:30 to 1:30. Very nicely appointed and clean. Adequate parking in their lot. Decently stock bar with most favorites served. We look forward to coming back to try other menu items. read more

So I happen to be invited to wonderful crafting event that's a couple of times a year in Marshfield and Scotty's Pizza and Chicken is a must have while I visit. You can't beat the value for the quality of what you order. I've enjoyed both the chicken and the pizza. I even enjoyed some cold leftover pizza on my drive back to the cities. You know a pizza has got it going on if it's just as good cold as hot! We've ate in the restaurant and it has a fun sports bar kind of feel. The service has been friendly. My food was hot and was ready in 20 minutes but the chicken was extremely salty. I did not enjoy it. Potato wedges were okay and the coleslaw was good. I ordered to go so I did not experience the ambience in full effect. However, it has a charming small town feel and I can tell that it's a place family and friends like to gather at. Having to go to Marshfield for a Doctor's appointment may worry some people, but I look forward to it because I know that I get to have Scotty's pizza! I like different pizzas, so I had to try the BBC (Bacon, Broccoli, Cheddar) on a gluten free crust. The white sauce is similar to mayo/salad dressing... I know, it sounds strange, but you have to try it! I should branch out and try something else, but it is so good! My Husband and Daughter got the lunch buffet (this time) and were not disappointed: pizzas were fresh/hot and the garlic bread looked so good. Buffet is only available on Mondays/Tuesdays at lunch hour. But, don't worry- you can order pizzas to eat in or get delivered to you. read more

Discovered Scotty's Pizza while in town for a youth hockey game. The hockey rink served Scotty's Pizza as well as advertised them as a sponsor. I'm always willing to support a local sponsor of youth sports. Stopped by the restaurant to place a to-go order. Parking is pretty tight around the building and only allows entrance from one direction. Be on the lookout as you approach. We went in to Scotty's to find a nearly empty restaurant. While ordering at the counter, the guys in the kitchen were having a burping contest. I was surprised by the behavior given they could see us ordering through the large open window facing the kitchen. We waited a short time for our order of 3 sub sandwiches and 1 burger. During the wait, the phone continually rang for pizza orders. It appears that phone orders for pizza is much of their business. Next time, we'll try a pizza. I ordered a ham & turkey sub. The sub had good flavor and was substantial in toppings. The bread did have a flavor as if it was toasted with garlic. It was a bit of a strange flavor combination with the mayo. Given their support of the local community, I'd definitely recommend trying out Scott's Pizza. read more

This place makes a solid pie! The crusts are crispy, chewy, and delicious. Had pizza in Wausau last night at their best place and it isn't close. Make the drive, it's worth it. There are tons of toppings and the pizza is not doughy in the center. They also have a couple beers on tap. read more

I was so very impressed with this restaurant I'm from northern wi. Originally where fri fish fry is a richial... they operated so efficiently with 90 percent of orders pick up or delivery due to covid... the food was awesome very timely and my boyfriend hates fish he ate all 4 pieces and said it was delicious... had to hug elderly lady working there which was mom to son who owns it she was so busy running phone orders,cash register n keeping everything going... kudos to this home restaurant. read more

I had really high hopes for this place and love the idea of supporting a local business but this place was just horrible. The service was not great, treated us like idiots when we didn't know how the place was set up considering it was our first time there, the only thing i can praise them on is that the food arrived quickly. But said food was awful, my family was just looking at each other wondering if everyones food was just as bad as everyone else's. The pizza had a bad smell that made it really unappetizing and it was just a basic pepperoni pizza. My parents got a veggie pizza and we were all confused on how the pizza was made considering the veggies weren't cooked at all!! Overall, just not impressed and will not be going back. read more

I reference this place in my "about me" section, so I figured I'd give peeps a hint on what they're missing. Scotty's used to be Scotty's Pizza and chicken...possibly the best combination ever! Alas the original burnt down somewhere around 2000 and is now much smaller and focuses more on delivery than eat-in. I haven't lived in Marshfield since 2000, but every time I get back...once a year or so, I MUST have a BBC pizza. Thin crust topped with mayo, four cheeses, broccoli and bacon. Take my word for it, it's wonderful. Scotty's has some other interesting specialties, such as the "drunken chicken" which also forgoes tomato sauce for mayo. When people from New York complain about San Francisco's lack of decent pizza, I get homesick for Scotty's...possibly the only thing I miss about the town I grew up in. read more

Hadn't had Scotty's in ages, but came in today with a big group from work. They were quick to accommodate us and bring fresh pizzas to the lunch buffet. They have quite a few "special" pizzas, but I really liked the sausage best. If you order a soda with your meal, it comes in a bottle - not from a fountain - so no refills. 0 stars! Typically good food & service. Today 0 stars (NEGATIVE IF I COULD). Placed order at 7pm was told 30-45 mins. Asked to be called when driver was on the way. 740 recived a call stating driver will be here shortly. Called at 8pm was told "traffic is probably heavy" (ok...we are in marshfield...traffic heavy?) At 810 still no delivery, called again at 815. Was told "im sure they are on the way". So now its over an hr since i placed order and over 30 mins since food left the kitchen... (and im sure its cold). So i explained to guy that he answered the phone the events. He said "well what do you want me to do?" I said "i guess nothing but cancel my order". I hate to give such a low review, but the two times I have visited Scotty's lately the service has been extremely slow and the pizza just alright. Most recently we were there one night and there were some large parties in the back and about 3 full tables in the front. The one waiter was running around like a chicken with his head cut off. By the time he got to us, like 20 minutes after we got there, he didn't even say hi he was just like you know what you want? Told him the order and he was like you might as well get your own drinks it'll be quicker. OK. Didn't even bother ordering a beer, since we knew we wouldn't get it anytime soon. There was one plate on our table when we got our appetizer we asked for another and some ranch. Didn't get either item. Asked for a plate again when the pizza came and he was like I'll see if I can find one. 10 minutes later he came back. Our pizza was just alright. There was nothing great about it and nothing wrong with it. We did a half and half from the speciality pizza menu. Overall, I won't be back to eat in again and would probably order pizza hut the next time I want pizza. read more

Ordered a large sausage/pepperoni pizza and cheese bread - delivered. Simple and straightforward. The crust on the pizza was burned and featured a classic cardboard texture kind of like your average frozen grocery store pie. The cheese bread was really overcooked and lacked cheese. We called to complain about the overcooked food and were basically blown off without even an apology. If this is the best pizza Marshfield has to offer...that is sad. read more

Everyone was raving about the crazy fries..just a frozen pizza crust that's cut up, deep fried, and greased up with butter..nothing special. The pizza had a very "from the freezer" taste as well. The food is good but service is often lacking. Servers are not as attentive as they should be. Last time we got take out we were very disappointed. They put one persons order of wedges in another person's meal and said there were two orders in there. There were only about 9 wedges in there. Is that two orders? And how nice is it to have to dig in someone else's meal to get your 4 wedges out. Ordering here is not cheap either. I emailed them and they never even responded. After ordering a chicken Alfredo pizza with no broccoli or tomatoes and cheesy bread, my delivery order shows up with a pizza LOADED with broccoli and tomatoes. So I got in the car and took the pizza back. I was not compensated for them screwing up my pizza and having to drive it back, but it was remade and redelivered. I was told it would take 10 mins to be remade, well almost 45 mins later it finally shows back up. So all together, an hour and a half for me to finally be eating. Very VERY disatisfied with the service, and won't be eating from them again. read more
