The work used to be good and now it's gone downhill. After our "service" is done we often have to borrow neighbors equipment to finish the job that I was paying for. They have no pride in their work or any attention to detail and couldn't care less about customer service and satisfaction. In the six years I used their service (it's my fault I didn't cancel sooner) I had to call them four separate times to ask if they could actually finish their job. Half assed "weed whacking" and most times I honestly questioned if the blades of the mower were actually on and running or just on for noise and just brushing the grass about. There's always an excuse and gaslighting from the company. I am shocked they are still in service. Needless to say, they no longer have my business and if you're reading this review you should steer clear of them. I stupidly have paid them thousands over the years for terrible service. read more

I hired Scott's Turf and Tree to design and install a new landscape in both my front and back yards. The back landscape involved using a mini-excavator, adding a rockery, a flagstone path, backfilling, and using a mini-excavator. The plantings are doing really and the whole thing is beautiful. They used river rock in the front landscape to create a riverbed, and upgraded the plantings. It looks so much more polished and pretty than before. The crews are knowledgeable and polite. We had Mike come out to access our yard and come up with a plan to completely overhaul it. We needed to remove several shrubs, plants, etc. We also needed weekly yard care.We had several people come out but Mike was the most knowledgeable and we felt confident in his plan for our yard. Then we tried to get signed up for service. It took several phone calls to get going. I left messages and received no call back. I finally called Mike and he called the office to get a response for us. When i got to talk to some, believe Lara, she was very curt. She let me know that I had been put on the schedule. We were given the excuse for the delay that they were on vacation. We went ahead and removed our huge section of 4 foot daisies and some other plants to get the ball rolling. When they came by to mow our ļlawn we asked if they could remove the huge pile we created. They guy's truck was full but he said he would get someone to come by that week. He didn't. They emailed the bill for our other services. My boyfriend immediately emailed back requesting the debris removal. No response. He called the next day. No response. A week later a left a not so nice message. He got a response the next day. Again Lara said they had been on vacation. This time i am not buying it. We ended up hiring another company for the job and canceling the all service and future plans. They lost they 3 days of overhauling our yard, monthly service and replanting next Spring. This was solely because the could not return phone call. Lara is completely inept and rude. When we canceled our service all we received back from the email was I will send you your final bill. One line. I do not recommend this company. read more

If I could I would give Scott's turf and tree no stars, my reason why was because it was my first time ever to hire people to maintain my back and front yard. I felt like I was taken advantage of (like bringing in your car to a new car service company). I got way cheaper quotes from other company's but ended up choosing this one because they are friendly and told me that they were going to maintain my "Whole" place... I guess I was really wrong. There were 2 guys that came out for less than 30 minutes these guys to top it off look like they been smoking something (They told me that they stayed for 1 hour and I have security cameras at my house rental), they were weeding my flower bed that I already did so I don't understand what they were doing there for most of the time. I can tell they sprayed half of my backyard because the weeds look like they are dried out dying and the smell. They did not spray any of my front or the lower level of my backyard. To get to the point for anyone that is in the same situation as me. If you get a quote a lot cheaper than this company just hirer them, the reason why I got sold was because they said they were going to maintain my whole back and front yard (that didn't happen)and they were very friendly. I really expected them to maintain my place for the price I was paying (it was really expensive). I recommend people that read this to go to the cheaper companies out there and don't get tricked like me just because they are nice. I see all these beautiful pictures and I am baffled. I contracted with Scott's starting in 2018. I talked to Scott at my home and made the arrangements with him myself since I landscaped the yard and maintained it for years prior to using them. They did fine for the first year and a half. After that, however, came a parade of new people who's only interest seemed to be getting done as quickly as possible. The work deteriorated to the point they have nearly ruined my yard now, that was newly landscaped in 2018 and they have solely maintained since. They have cut down my wine grapes, blown leaves into my fountain, and generally blown leaves into all the graveled flower beds to the point it is all mulching now. I repeatedly contacted those coming to site, who promised to stop it, fix it, then left as fast as they could, making it worse each time. I contacted the office and only after two weeks got a response. I was then told I wasn't paying for the level of service, and that (besides) blowing out leaves from flower beds isn't even possible. Essentially that blowing leaves into my fountain and flower beds was a service, I should be happy, and this is somehow even more than I should expect. And that and I should be happy with what they did to my yard. That even though I originally explained exactly what I wanted, and we agreed. And that even though they did the work well for the first year and a half, and had also contacted me periodically asking if I wanted added service (apply weed killer and demoss which has stopped without notice) that somehow this bad work was what was agreed on, and now they seem to be saying is they were supposed to just mow, and then I need to either personally clean up after them or pay someone else to clean up after their poor messy work. As of this moment I had not canceled and was hoping they would remedy the mess. Since they are now taking zero responsibility for the poor work and the mess they made, I will now cancel and have to pay to have a good lawn contractor fix the mess they made. To date they have been continuously contracted for this property since 2018. I will leave it to the reader to decide if the work is adequate and as others have pictured. Scott is the man! I requested an appointment and he got me in pretty quickly. My situation was that our sprinkler system started gushing out water whenever I turned the valve on. I had someone look at it and he quoted me 450 dollars telling me he needed to dig it out and replace the whole system. Scott came to my house, looked at the system, laughed at the issue and fixed it within 30 seconds. He explained that whoever did my backwater test forgot to close one of the test valves. I was sad because I wanted to pay him for his time but he just gave me his card. Thank you so much for your excellent service, I will recommend Scott's to anyone. This guy is not just after your money, he's a true professional who will want to make things easy on you. I also will never use the bum who did my back-flow and use Scott's company. Scott saved our yard! We recently moved into a house in Bellevue and the previous owners were serious about their yard maintenance. They had some serious pride of ownership and everyone in the neighborhood was jealous of their lush, green grass. Unfortunately, when they left they turned off the sprinkler system and we could not get it turned back on. The grass was dying! After contacting no less than a dozen landscapers and hearing mostly, "we don't service your area," "we're booked out until August," "we're not accepting new clients," we resorted to lawn sprinklers. But lo and behold, Scott's Turf and Tree had a cancellation and came to the rescue within a couple of days. Scott turned on the system, made sure everything worked, set us up for success and was on his way after 30 min on a SUNDAY morning! It's such a little thing, having your sprinkler system working so you can keep your grass green. We needed a tree removed from the front of our house which wasn't an immediate problem but were told by neighbors who had similar trees in their yard that the roots get aggressive. In our case the tree was very close to our driveway we didn't want to wait and deal with the damage the roots would eventually cause to the concrete. I called a few places and Scott's Turf and Tree was by far the most reasonably priced. They were very busy so said that they would try to fit us in during the next few weeks. They were able to come out in a few weeks like they said and removed the tree and stump. The workers were friendly and professional and did a great job cleaning up after themselves and generally making the area where the tree was removed look appealing (flattening it out and making sure no large debris was laying around). To their credit on how efficient they were, we even had a neighbor come by and ask them to help remove a stump while doing our work. They were able to remove our neighbors stump as well! I would highly recommend and we hope to use them for future landscaping projects. read more

The company was quick to come and give us a quote and when it was agreed that we would use them, we were informed that they would call and let us know which day they would come. We never received a call and they just showed up-not a huge issue but we did not get a chance to inform them of some things. The landscaper did not finish trimming in multiple places and we called to question this because if we are going to pay to have the yard done,we expect it to be fully completed. We were told they would come the following day or day after and they have yet to come finish the job or call us. We will not be using the company again. read more

Scheduled an appointment for an estimate and confirmed an arrival time between 9am and 10am. It was a no show, so I called at 10:02am. They said they would find out and call me back. 25 minutes later they call back. Apparently the guy that was supposed to come over was in a bad cell area and still at another job lining people up, he was running a little late and could get to my place in 30min. No thank you. The service industry has gotten absolutely horrible at customer service and I'm not going to take it. I had plenty of other things I could have been doing besides waiting for an appointment that didn't happen. If they had called to tell me, that would have been good customer service. But I was left waiting, not knowing what was going on, and then I had to call and wait again to find out. Companies like this need to step up their game. My money is going somewhere else. 2 stars because they were at least pleasant to talk with and not rude. read more

I had a good experience with Scott winterizing my irrigation system so I thought I'd ask them to do a spring 'tune-up' on my front yard. Mike estimated the job and then Matt and Robert cleaned all the beds, applied Casoron to keep the weeds down, did a great job pruning (especially a big topiary or pom pom tree) and then applied 5 yards of mulch. They came in well below their estimate and everything looks great. Will definitely call them in again! read more

Loved working with these guys. I called them out to get an estimate on planting privacy trees, and they were quick to reply and come out for an estimate. The arborist who came to give the estimate was a straight-forward, honest guy. He said he wouldn't recommend planting anything where I'd wanted the trees due to the existence of a drain that could cause issues down the road. I loved that he was honest about those reservations and not out to make a quick buck for their business. He gave me an estimate for some pruning in my backyard as well for trees that had gotten way out of control. The owner came out a couple weeks later to do the pruning himself. He worked his butt off in the scorching afternoon heat, climbing the tree, and he asked for my input along the way to make sure I was satisfied with the work he was doing. He also made sure not to scratch my newly painted siding. He and his apprentice (son? not sure) were friendly, even smiling and talking to my baby. Nice guys, hard workers. They even cleared the brush from the hill in my backyard as part of the pruning job, which was above and beyond what they quoted. A great company, and I would hire them again in a minute. read more

After having a surprisingly unprofessional experience with another landscaping company, Scott's T&T was a breath of fresh air. Scott personally came out for the bid, exactly when he said he would, called on his way, and was friendly and knowledgable. They're licensed, bonded, insured, have workers' comp (important to us to know people doing physical work are covered if they get hurt at our house working), and were more responsive re: scheduling than almost any contractor we've dealt with. If only all contractors could be so professional. Also, Scott's had a super reasonable bid. They just did the work this week. Since it's dirt hauling/grass seeding, we can't say yet whether the grass was seeded well, but I can say that the yard looked all nice and tidy when we got home. Scott came to our house to do some paver stone work and stairs down a slope. We hired him at first because he was one of the few contractors who returned our calls. He personally came within days of our call, and was flexible about schedules so we wouldn't have to miss work. When our quote came in, it was extremely reasonable. It was on par if not below what we had estimated using HomeWyse. What struck us the most was how knowledgeable he was with everything landscaping!! He gave us some tips and ideas for future projects. Our home is new, so the backyard was a mess. Scott made it look amazingly beautiful. No crazy sales pressure at all unlike some in the competition. He sent us the bid and kept us updated on estimates for completion timeframes. Communication was far from excellent. When it came time to do the job, Scott (the owner) was right there with his workers, getting his hands dirty with the rest of the crew. You could tell from the start that his work was quality! His workers even mentioned that Scott was one of the few that didn't cut corners at all--it was either get it done right, or don't do it. He is by far one of the most trustworthy people I've ever had come work on our house! At the end, the work came out even better than expected. The pavers were absolutely beautiful. I hired Scott's Turf and Tree to remove an old carport that took up my whole side yard and an old deck cover. He and his crew did a great job. They showed up when scheduled and got the work done quickly and under budget. Removing the carport left an exposed area on the side of the house. They rigged up a temporary fix and then Scott had someone out there the next day to put up siding and gutters. I had Scott build some raised garden beds from the left over wood. He explained about the wood being treated and the need for a liner inside the box. I would not have known to do that so I appreciate his knowledge and expertise. The planter boxes came out great! I mentioned the difficulty I have stepping on and off the deck (even though it isn't very high) and asked about putting in a step. Scott suggested ramps which was a much better idea. So now I have two ramps off of my deck which are much easier on my arthritic knees. Scott is a pleasure to work with, very enthusiastic and energetic.
