Despite what google says Scott's is still in business, just moved from it's Ballard location to Shoreline! The building owner refused to allow Kelly to put up a moved sign (identifying a empty space) because of some of the issues with that area of Ballard. Google changed the listing to 'closed' but will not change let them update the business info without paying a fee. Also when they moved Comcast reset their phone number instead of transferring it, Kelly has been trying to get Comcast to restore the old number but getting people's orders done has taken precedence. Teresa at Scott's Trophy did an EXCELLENT job making a plaque with a picture of my parents and their birth and death dates. She also put a couple other things we wanted on metal so we can personalize our parents glass enclosed cubicle. I was in a bind as I needed to get 50+ trophies engraved for an event in 2 business days and Kelly at Scott's Trophy came through for me! Not only was this local, female owned business able to provide a better/ classier crystal trophy option than an online east coast retailer, but she was able to turn it around for me before my requested time! I ended up paying a little less than the online retailer would have charged and 50% of their cost was for overnight shipping. Made so much more sense to give the order to a local business who promised me I could pick up before my event date. Kellie was wonderful to work with, very responsive and super professional as well. Another great Ballard business! We needed a plaque made for our company holiday party and like usual I waited until the last minute. When I explained the situation to Jeannie she never had a pessimistic comment or thought. She immediately told me that nothing could be ordered in time, but they had a selection of in-stock plaques for me to review (which were very nice). I had to leave town and she worked with our marketing manager to make our logo correct. We had some different shading challenges on our logo and she took it in stride to ensure the plaque looked how we wanted it. I had the plaque that Friday and it looked great. Did I mention I needed (2) different ones? Great people with great attitudes. I will be getting the plaque for next year from them no doubt. I will give them more advanced notice through! read more

I've given them plenty of challenges over the years with no complaints on their part or on mine.
