I asked for 4 trophies and emailed the person taking my order what I wanted. He then said over the…read morephone he didn't have what I wanted but had something similar to what I emailed him. He didn't send me a picture. He was patient with me even though I called back couple times to make corrections on the spellings. Then the next day I show up, he has 3 trophies ready that looks nowhere near the quality of what I sent him. He then shows me a picture. He says he sent me pictures that I never got. It's a little too late. I didn't want to argue with the guy becuz he is stoic and seemed like I was a nuisance to him. I decide not to even ask about the fourth trophy because he was making me feel uncomfortable. I just rushed out the store after paying the bill. He then response back to me demanding that I change this rating. The rating of my satisfaction on the experience I had with the products and services he provided. Not what anyone would expect out of a 5 star service.

I was charged a fair price for the time and service, and am really pleased with the final product. I am sad to think how unusual it is to get this type of service these days. Rarely do small business live up to their promise of client satisfaction and customer care at reasonable rates. However this place is exactly what a small business should be, focused on their customers and delivering a better product than online retailers. They obviously take pride in their work and are willing to go above and beyond to maintain their clientele. While I was there I also witnessed numerous other happy customers come and go, each experiencing the same polite attitude and high quality of service that I experienced from the gentleman helping me. Several months ago I ordered a large framed print of a high resolution digital image (65 MB) that I bought from/off of alamy.com. The saturation was inadequate, resulting in a print that did not match the intense coloration (sapphire blues and deep orange yellows) of Van Gogh's "Starry Night" (MOMA). Then a month ago I ordered a smaller canvas print. The colors diverged wildly from the original digital print, almost different hues for the sky. The image is blurred, as if some photo-mechanical problem had occurred in the production process. Furthermore, there is a conspicuous fold in the lower left where the frame bar had creased it (see photo). This was quite careless on the part of whoever either stretched the canvas to the wooden bars or packed it. For the price I paid for a single image, I could have bought a nice coffee table art book with plenty of high quality images. Very disappointed. I contacted the owner but never heard back from him. ***** Where to go? Northwest Fine Art Printing? Moonlight?

I wish I could say we had bought or commissioned something here, so I could comment on that. But I can't, even though that's really their main purpose.
