He did a fabulous job, even though I was unable to get my daughter's husky away from her favourite spot. He worked so hard and it looked amazing after. He showed up the first time after to mow. Since then he has been a no show in spite of repeated texts. He answered once to say he was too sick to come. The second time he said he had reversed his route and would be there later and never showed. It took multiple messages each time to get a response. If there is a reason he does not want our business I would expect the courtesy of a message rather than no shows. I wanted so badly to leave him a good review because his work was so good and very reasonably priced, and he is such a nice man, but the lack of communication and lack of reliability are a problem for me.

We have called on Dave four times now so I feel confident in providing this stellar review. He is…read moreresponsive, friendly, and exceedingly honest. His prices are extremely reasonable and the quality of his work is consistent. One time we had an issue on a Sunday afternoon and he came an hour later to help us. His work consisted of designing a new sprinkler system for a large yard, planters, and raised beds. He came back one or two times to work out kinks as we adjusted sprinkler timing and location. Also, fixed fence posts for far less than we had expected and aerated, seeded, and laid topper on our lawn. It has never looked better! Strongly recommend.

We live on 3 acres in the hills above Banning and needed to add concrete pads for our new storage sheds and RV parking, as well as walkways between existng buildings. Our design goal was to work with the natural draininage and lay of the land -- and Pete did not disappoint. His Bobcat professional [Paul] quickly turned Pete's vision into reality. His forms crew [Tony, Justin and Dean] had the experience and stamina to complete the pre-pour requirements on schedule and showed up at sunrise the next day, ahead of the three cement trucks to finish the job by sunset. Back to Eden Landscapes wasn't the cheapest bid we recieved, but their seamlessly-coordinated teamwork and the quality of the finished job allowed us to maintain our "work/shed" construction schedule. Highly recommend Back to Eden Landscapes.

Time management was poor, he would tell us he was coming at 8am, show up at 11am. We had to keep calling him, to find out when he was coming. He continued to ask for payments but we pushed back on contract completion items. Now, 6 months after completion, I have had several leaks where fittings were not connected properly. I won't call him to repair because I don't feel he was reliable.

So I call on a Friday because I want my sprinkler valves moved and also put into the ground instead of sticking up and having to be covered with a fake rock. I leave a message and within half an hour Sean called me back and said he can come out to give a quote that same afternoon. He does, and it's a very reasonable price. Even better, he says he can come out on Saturday morning, the next day, and have it done before noon. He will be there between 8 AM and 9 AM. The next morning, he's there and ready to go at 8 AM and he and another guy work hard all the way through and do an even better job than I had expected. And my sprinkler valves and pipe were old. They were old when I bought the house 20 years ago - that kind of old. But no problem for Sean. I am already planning which project I will have them come out to take care of next.

On a recommendation from a friend, I contacted Greg at Earth Tones Landscaping. The process began…read morewith an idea of what I wanted the landscape to look like. Greg did a rough sketch, added suggestions, and we went from there. All prior grass and planting material were removed by them as agreed upon prior to the work beginning. They had a clean slate to work with. Upon clearing an area with plants Greg and Jimmy came upon two alligator lizards that they moved to the back yard. Hopefully, they will find their way back to the front yard after the work is completed. They really did create a beautiful outdoors landscape bringing feelings of the Sierra Mountains and Joshua Tree to the landscape. An example of how a low maintenance and drought tolerant landscape can be lush and exciting. During the process, both Greg and Jimmy paid meticulous attention to detail with the placement of the brick walkway, brick lined pathway, placement of boulders, rocks for the dry creek bed, and plants. Happy that I opted to add the outdoor lighting. The lighting adds to the magic of the landscape. Needless to say, the landscape went beyond my wildest expectation and works well with a historical Tudor style home. It is gorgeous. Thank you so much Earth Tones Landscaping for an amazing landscape and all of your hard work and effort to make it happen. My neighbors and I love it and look forward to watching the garden as it grows, and the landscape matures.
