Go see Chuck Torlone... tell him that I sent you! From the start, I knew that I wanted to install (at the very least) a stage 1 kit (exhaust. with some tuning) which I wanted to do before taking delivery of bike. However, I wanted more.. much more! I wanted a stage 2 kit, with S&S 475 cam chest, with a full dyno tuning. Harley was not going to do that... so, I called Jack, who told me to come on over and talk to Dan, which I did. Dan talked to me about the benefits of an S&S Superstreet exhaust (better tuning capabilities) and went through a variety of cams, including the S&S 475 kit, which I decided to go with. Best choice ever! Woke the bike way up!!! Dan's work is outstanding, from workmanship to knowledge to making sure that I was happy. The power increase was better than expected - horsepower up from 101 to 125; torque up from 123 to 139. Response from straight off the line is impressive. And the chunky rumble??? even my wife (Kim Laird) loves it! So happy to have made that phone call to Jack. My advice... call Jack at Cycle Services before you do anything else... you will be happy that you did. Tell 'em that Tim sent you!

The person kept pressing the gas himself and the moped jumped forward, he then hit the brake himself as a way to explain. I had no idea what he was asking me to do. Luckily I just took off and it was very easy to get the hang of. My sister had the same experience and was told she couldn't ride one by the attendant. He also never explained leaning into turns and I had to figure that out on my own. On another note, we were quoted a price of $286 on the site when I made the reservation. This was for 2 mopeds, 4 hours. When we arrived the attendant said the site was "broken" and the real price was $380 for both. I would have shopped around at this price. He wouldn't go with the price on my confirmation and in the end, we didn't want to ruin our plans for the day so we paid the higher price. Thirdly, the moped maxed out at 25 mph going up a hill. We were driving to Aquinna and the speed limit is 40 mph on some parts of the road. It was a bit disconcerting being passed by cars in a no passing zone.

Went looking to buy specific bike summer 2025. Was definitely going 2 buy it but sales rep (young…read moreguy) was very arrogant, negative, & sarcastic. He literally disagreed with everything my buddy & I said. My buddy left store he was so irritated. I stayed & when we negotiated price, he continued to act like that so I said 4get it & bought same exact bike somewhere else for a much better price btw & the person I got it from was a good kid. Totally different experience. Went back to JMR & bought helmet, shirt, gloves. At 1 point, sales rep gave me I believe JB's # (the guy who's desk is to the right when u 1st walk in: may be owner) # to negotiate price. When I used that number to call JB, JB said he was at home sick & acted like I was bothering him. A first, I felt bad but then I'm like well then the other guy shouldn't have given me his #. Later on, I needed a part for my bike & JB was clearly aggravated that I had bought a bike somewhere else. I could've rubbed it in their face, but I didn't even mention it. Then JB turned very confrontational and disrespectful. When he started shouting at me, I started shouting back & we got into a verbal confrontation. At first, he told me he was going to help me order the part. Then 5 minutes later, he told me that the Internet had cut out & he wasn't going to be able to order it. We got arguing again & he's like "DO U WANT MY HELP OR NOT!?" & said the Internet had just come back out of the blue while he was standing up talking to me, not even looking at his phone or computer or anything. It became obvious to me that he was lying about there not being an Internet connection to order the part. He just didn't wanna help me out of spite. When he said the Internet had come back (apparently from his telepathic abilities), he then spent 20 minutes fumbling around on his computer, trying to figure out which screw I needed it for my motorcycle. He said he wasn't sure which one it was. He said we'll try this and if it's not the right one, we'll just do it again. I called for an update a month later: He was irritated & said it was on backorder & hung up. Finally, a few months later I received a voicemail saying that the part had come in. I had missed the vmail from a few weeks prior so I called them to make sure they still had the part before I went down there and once again someone was very sarcastic over the phone saying " well if someone called you saying that the part is here then it's here". I then hung up the phone and went down there the next day (12/19/25.) when I got down there, I went in and said hello to JB and was very friendly to him as I was willing to forgive all sins if they had my part. He then told me that because of what happened yesterday on the phone, they weren't willing to do business with me anymore. I was like what are you talking about? He said that I thought I had hung up the phone after I hung up with them and that I said a bunch of negative stuff (another lie btw) & that they didn't want my business anymore & that he was ending the relationship. If I was anywhere else, I would've been in disbelief as to what was happening, but it was par for the course with these 2 people working at JMR Honda in Hyannis. I have never encountered worse Service in my entire life and I am 52 years old. I don't understand how you could be in sales or an owner and be a total jerk to your customers not just 1 employee, but 2 and expect people to want to do business there. I also met a friend who also had a motorcycle & he randomly told me that he had been to JMR Honda and received a terrible experience himself without me saying a word. I was like trust me I get it. I am a very reasonable person and I'm a good guy, but I have my limits and I honestly believe this is the first time in my life I have ever filed a formal complaint with a business. The way these guys do business is despicable to me. They are grossly incompetent, disrespectful to customers, negative, sarcastic, angry, and unreasonable. Also threatened to call cops. That would've been an incredible waste of their valuable time.

He was incredibly rude the entire time I worked with him. Super abrasive. He raised his voice in a very condescending way, at me on the phone when he called me for an address, telling me that the transport company would not take the bike from them without the delivery addressed taped to the bike - as I was getting the address for him, I thought I would simply make him aware the transport company did already have it, he told me again, in a very sharp tone, cutting me off, that they needed it taped onto the bike. After he hung up on me, I called the transport company to let them know all was set for pick up, I mentioned the rude conversation I had just had with JB and how he hung up on me while I was mid-sentence, she said, she already had the address and that he was also being very difficult with another customer who just purchased a bike or vehicle of some kind, from them, that they (the transport company) were supposed to pick up as well. Its no surprise this dealership only has 2.5 stars. I wouldn't even give one star, however I have no choice. My advice, go to https://www.bettencourts.com/ - they were so much more professional and way nicer when I called them with questions about another bike we are interested in purchasing.

The owner is very dangerous, he buys bikes and put them out immediately for sale without inspection or making them road worthy , this is the second bike I've gotten with zero fluid, the first one was a clapped out ninja that had been seriously dumped at High mhp's, it was my own fault for being such an impulsive buy but i've been riding for 33+ years and yes, I did take the bike for a test drive but didn't use the brakes to stop. I made the mistake of downshifting to stop and then when I bought the bike It only took 15 minutes to realize that there were no real actual breaks so I ended up riding directly into a tree at 39 miles an hour and almost lost my life

They are busy so it did take a couple of weeks to get back but Brenda let me know what to expect time wise when I was dropping it off. I'm not sure how long repairs normally take but they estimated up to 14 days and had it finished in 13- so pretty much spot on. The owner was also super patient with me and explained everything that needed to be done (and also what I could skip)- he even changed the oil and did not charge me for it. Will definitely be back.
