Alex was really communicative from the beginning of the project, through the entire quoting process, and was onsite frequently checking in during the project. Their team was transparent about pricing for any additional services that popped up as the project was going on, and they finished in a very timeline manner. (We were quoted 4-6 weeks for the project and I believe it took 4.) We love the results of our new backyard! It looks amazing, and I am able to relax knowing my kids have a fenced in area to play in.

Jonathan is an absolute gem. He is so down to earth, smart, kind, and you can tell he cares about…read morewhat he is doing and about the customers. He has over 19 years of experience, started from one of the first companies to do this well out in the bay and then branched out to his own company, where it's clear he wants to commit to doing a good job for the customers versus just making a large profit. We got a quote from another company who was running a ton of ads and it was very clear after meeting and talking to Jonathan that the other company was in it for the money and the biggest job possible. Jonathan came in, sat down, explained ALL the issues. Drew pictures for us to understand better since it was clear that we were over our heads(esp since we spoke with the other company that made it seem like our house was a danger to be living in) then he continued to explain all of the structural components of our house and how it helps with the safety/etc(NONE of this was done by the other well known/IG ad pushing company). He took his time, went over different options, gave us rough estimates for both. Suggested and gave a list of people he suggested for soil reports(Within less than an hour of meeting us). Broke down costs and said YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE YO PAY MORE THAN THIS and laughed as I added extra for what if's. He was such a lovely person and his quote was WAY less than the other company who only gave us one very expensive option and then didn't even bother to send a full estimate (groundworks) I immediately wanted to work with him right after and plan to. Highly suggest him for any of your foundation needs. Save yourself time, no need to get other quotes from other companies and just go with him:)

In an industry where trust really matters, Golden Gate Foundation Repair absolutely stands out. Highly recommend them to anyone in the Bay Area who needs honest experts and top‑tier craftsmanship. Way better than a "competitor" who came by and all they cared about was upselling, not knowing I have a background in foundation of course. Now, I know who to recommend to family and friends!
