The staff is absolutely the best and everything is so clean and new. My room was a corner king suite. Enormous room. It's like I had my own little apartment. If you love the gym and pool this room is for you. Room 236 is directly across from the gym door. Gym is nicely equipped and they have plenty of water and fresh fruit. Also a few steps more and the pool is right there. My only complaint is I had to keep my shades closed 24/7. You can see directly out to the pool and others in turn can see you. So unless you want everyone to see your every move then close the blinds ha other than that I appreciated the senor lights into the restroom and the thermostat is a bit interesting. I heard it is motion sensored and goes based off your body heat. If you like it cold maybe drop it down a few degrees than you are usually used to. Lovely property and great bar/patio too!

I had room to which was downstairs by the stairway. The room is nicely sized and decorated. The bathroom what is a good size as well with a standup shower, pedestal sink, commode and decorated with stainless steel siding. There's an air conditioner in the room and thankfully located right by the bed to my liking!!! The bed was very comfortable and once again the decor was beautiful. The night I was there they were a number of bird hunters staying in the lodge. I was expecting to hear talking, mouse, them climbing the stairs etc. However I found it very quiet and I slept extremely well. Air conditioning is turned off in hallways and lobby, very hot and humid. Coffee tastes like dirty water, no utensils or pans in rooms with kitchen, towels are dingy and stink. Managers at front desk during the day are rude, desk clerks in evening are fine. Front doors are locked after 10 am, very uninviting. Housekeeping was great, rooms are very spacious and clean.
