The owners, Mr. And Mrs. Lemmons are amazing and friendly. I stayed in "Desert Room 1". This is a spacious room, large bathroom, and a super-comfortable bed. This is West Texas...and the A/C is perfect. They have coffee and snacks available 24/7, swimming pool, chairs outside. My co-worker and I sat outside yesterday, in great rocking chairs, and watched doves and wildlife going about their business. This place is a "10"! I will be back!

I spent two weeks there, in two different rooms. Even if it was the same room type and price (111 USD), the quality between the rooms varied drastically. The first room I stayed at had a fridge full of water (melted off the freezer), the toilet seat was not properly seated and would wobble all over the place. There were no plastic cutlery. Missing a computer desk. A TV about 30" smaller. Bed pillows stunk of head sweat. AC wouldn't cool the room properly. Given the location, and lack of other proper accommodations, they still deserve a 4/5. I'd just recommend management up their game and bring all rooms to the same quality of room 329, and move away from the quality of room 331. If these changes were implemented, I'd gladly pay the given rate and rate them a 5/5. Also, management, please fix the internet issues. If there's one thing that someone in Graham needs its internet, there's nothing else to do!!

My mom asked her if she could change the news channel, she was hesitant but finally changed it. She was displeased with my mother and told her that was why we had our own TVS to use in our hotel room. My mom Was shocked and asked her again politely, as this seemed like a simple hotel Guest request, and no one else was even paying attention. Her attitude was surprisingly nasty. She told my mother never she had never had anybody complain about the news station in the public area. Reluctantly, she changed the channel. After me and my mom finished eating, we then checked out and my mom was still kind to this woman and thanked her for the hotel stay. It seemed inappropriate and unprofessional as we had traveled half way across the country for a family funeral. Fortunately, my mom ignored her behavior. The lady kept coming by every few minutes to see if we were still sitting there, probably to change the channel back/ which was creepy because the front desk is far away and there's no way she could could even see or hear the tv from there. Also no one else around really seemed to care. The whole situation was weird. We didn't say anything, we just checked out and left. The other hotel staff was really nice and helpful! We enjoyed our stay except for this one lady who seemed to have a bad attitude in general. Hopefully Holiday Inn doesn't promote this aggressive behavior to its other customers, but my mom and I looked at some other reviews and we did wonder.

I'm going to try really hard to be kind because the owners seem like good people, but I also have to be brutally honest. I'm not sure how this place is getting 5 star reviews. The owners described it as a "working man's motel", and I understand that. If you're truly looking for an inexpensive place to lay your head, this place is fine I guess? But if you're looking for any kind of comfort, you'd be better off finding an Airbnb in the area. We honestly would have been more comfortable camping.... The pictures on hotels.com, etc, are misleading. They make it seem much nicer than it is. The overwhelming scent of Fabuloso can't hide the fact that the floors are dirty (the picture is my socks after walking around for a few hours) and there are holes in the walls. We were only given one towel, the tv picture was fuzzy and the remote didn't work. The refrigerator was dirty and sticky inside. Uncomfortable mattress with springs poking out, and flat pillows. The description also states that they serve breakfast from 6-9am. There was no breakfast. If that was something that needed to be arranged beforehand, that needs to be stated in the description. The only reason I gave it more than one star is because it was very affordable, and I'm sure the owners work very hard, but if you don't have the resources to properly maintain a motel, you should probably go into another line of business.

I asked a friend of mine for a recommendation and she recommended Village Inn. I made the phone call and explained my situation and the owner was so nice and understanding even though I wasn't completely certain how long my stay would be and how many days I would have my dogs. The room was comfortable and quiet. I was able to log in to my Spectrum account on the Roku player to watch Tv. The full kitchen was great as we don't eat fast food and prefer to cook food for ourselves. If I ever need a place to stay next time I am in town, I will be staying here space permitting.
