Our rooms were as our as it was outside when we got in we had to all go but fans for our rooms... but after the Ac's were turned on and we left and came back about 5hrs later the rooms were nice and cold. Thank God I always carry bleach Lysol wipes and Lysol spray with me. But the bad thing was the beds had dead bugs in them and it wasn't bed bugs but still ugh... we had our own sheets and blankets thank God. Idk spray spray spray... don't kill the grasshoppers but all the other bugs the roaches and the other bugs spray for and kill. Take your own blow dryer don't have in rooms, take your own towel you get two very small thin towels, take your own shampoo and conditioners and body stuff. When we go back we will get a Air BnB or something else if we can't find something we would stay here but last resort kind of thing. And it has no breakfast no cokes no ice no nothing on the premises!!! A allsups store right across from it though. You do have a microwave, mini fridge (ours didn't work) coffee pot in your room The owners and front desk help was amazing and friendly and sweet. They did come clean the one room when we asked for a broom. They was sweet. It's nothing fancy but it will work and be ok. It's not the worse that's for sure.

The room was impeccably clean and looked professionally decorated with a high end boutique feel to it. The bed was comfortable with quality sheets and linens and even the bathroom towels were top notch. We were so impressed with all of the small details that really elevated our stay- there was coffee machine, a TV with a Roku set up, travel toiletries, and blackout curtains. I had room to which was downstairs by the stairway. The room is nicely sized and decorated. The bathroom what is a good size as well with a standup shower, pedestal sink, commode and decorated with stainless steel siding. There's an air conditioner in the room and thankfully located right by the bed to my liking!!! The bed was very comfortable and once again the decor was beautiful. The night I was there they were a number of bird hunters staying in the lodge. I was expecting to hear talking, mouse, them climbing the stairs etc. However I found it very quiet and I slept extremely well. The staff is absolutely the best and everything is so clean and new. My room was a corner king suite. Enormous room. It's like I had my own little apartment. If you love the gym and pool this room is for you. Room 236 is directly across from the gym door. Gym is nicely equipped and they have plenty of water and fresh fruit. Also a few steps more and the pool is right there. My only complaint is I had to keep my shades closed 24/7. You can see directly out to the pool and others in turn can see you. So unless you want everyone to see your every move then close the blinds ha other than that I appreciated the senor lights into the restroom and the thermostat is a bit interesting. I heard it is motion sensored and goes based off your body heat. If you like it cold maybe drop it down a few degrees than you are usually used to. Lovely property and great bar/patio too!
