My stay here was great. The free breakfast is pretty nice, I ended up stuffing myself every time I came down; the waffle maker being the most popular item. The gym is also pretty nice although don't expect to be able to bench here; most of it is dumbbell work outs and cardio! They do have a place to do laundry inside the gym but you will have to have coins with you to use the washers and dryers. The room we stayed in was great; it even has its own kitchen and dishwasher! The only downside would be having to request staff to clean your room. read more

The service was exceptional, friendly and efficient. The rooms and the lobby were kept impeccably clean and the coffee and tea bar were fully stocked at all times. The kids wanted delivery at midnight; there was no issue letting them partake in the lobby so as not to disturb sleeping adults in the room. read more

Decent stay. Extremely clean. Some supply chain issues, so make sure to allow notice to housekeeping staff on early arrival or late checkout. Who needs shower gel anyway, in China you get about a shower a week! read more

Friendly staff, smells and looks very clean. Didn't get to take advantage of gym or pool but both looked inviting. We chose this hotel because they are pet friendly, for a fee of course. Held back a star for the price of the fee. We've paid less at higher category hotels. Maybe consider discounting the pet fee for Gold and Diamond status members. Except for that, we liked the hotel. read more

We picked this particular hotel due to reputation and our personal experience with Home 2 Suites, and it did not disappoint. From check-in to check-out, it was a great stay. Melissa greeted us with enthusiasm and a smile and it continued every time we met during our stay. The whole staff was super friendly. The hotel was very clean, our room was the same. The breakfast was excellent and the breakfast area was very clean. There is not a single thing to complain about. We would definitely stay here again, if in the area. Great job to everyone involved in making this a great stay. read more

The cleanest Home2 Suites we've stayed at in the past two weeks of traveling. They clearly take pride in their hotel and it shows from cleanliness to friendly staff. read more

Very clean rooms with a nice set-up including couch, sink and refrigerator! We grabbed the pre-packaged breakfast and it was pretty good. It was at least filling and convenient. The workout room had a 4-5 cardio machines and free weights. Definitely a good enough setup to get a sweat going! Pet friendly property which is great when traveling with your fur babies! read more

We love this hotel!!! I think this is the cleanest hotel in Abilene! The staff are great and very helpful. The room that we reserved is the 1 bedroom king suite and it is enough to sleep 2 adults and 3 kids. It has a kitchen with a full-sized fridge, a living room with a queen sofa bed, a nook that seats 4 and lots of counter space. The only thing I don't like about this room is the barnyard door to the bathroom lol. Overall, HAPPY with this hotel and will use this whenever we are in Abilene. Other notes: Free Breakfast and Parking read more

The front desk staff were nice and friendly. The room looked and felt clean. It was modern, spacious, well appointed and comfortable. It was relaxing and easy to sit on the furniture. Also, the air conditioner was relatively quiet. Lastly, the mattress was in good condition; firm. We would have given the place 5 stars except the air conditioner went into eco mode during the night, allowing the room to get too hot. We would happily stay here again. read more

Great stay. Very nice accommodations, good breakfast and helpful and kind employees. Housekeeping did a great job and everything was clean and sparkling. Snack bar items could have been more but what they had was good including energy bars. read more

This hotel is excellent! The front desk clerk Tay was warm and welcoming, she was friendly, and prompt, excellent customer service! The room was spacious and comfortable and the shower...wow!! The restraunt was delicious and the workers were top notch. I cannot say enough ab the manager and how she runs this hotel. Absolutely recommend!!! read more

We stayed just one night while passing through Texas and it was great. The front desk lady was super nice, so friendly and kind. The hotel has a really nice patio out front and another area in back by the pool that you can watch TV and play games. They are dog friendly and have treats at the check in desk, dedicated dog area with trash and bags handy. Our room was fantastic, so clean and nice. The bed was firm but comfortable enough. The only complaints we had were that the pillows were too firm and the smoke dector lights were way too bright and almost directly over the bed. We had to get up and figure out some way to cover it. I really wish hotels would figure out some way to put a blinder on those things so that it doesn't shine right in your eyes when in bed. read more

Great new hotel! Nice amenities. Large rooms with good decor. Very comfortable beds. Clean all around. And the outdoor pool is still open (at limited capacity) right now during Covid. A great value for the price. Would definitely return if I need to stay in Abilene. read more

Home2 Suites by Hilton Abilene - Couch was so comfortable my girlfriend ended up passing out on it after a long day of travel! - Hotels Near Me - Abilene, Texas

What a GREAT place to stay!!!! We checked in on 7-30-22 for a 4 night stay and my husband and I were pleasantly surprised. The room itself was extremely clean, the bed was comfortable and towels were in abundance. The staff at the front desk were always pleasant and helpful, 24 x 7. It is a very well kept property. The room cleaning service was on request only but that fit into it needs perfectly, if we had dirty towels we just dropped them off with one of the staff that was cleaning rooms on our floor, and got clean towels and supplies if we need them, they were also very friendly and helpful. Do not hesitate to stay at this facility... I will say the Cable TV offered was a bit on the thin side, not much for your viewing pleasure and the Breakfast was your standard fare, muffins, cereal, waffles, fruit, juice, yogurt, coffee and tea. I will stay here again and tell everyone who is looking for a place to stay in Abilene, this should be your first and only choice. read more

We are currently in town for my son's military event. This place has only been open for one month. Everything is brand NEW. The staff here has been so friendly & attentive. Pretty sure no one's used the room were in yet, it still smells like fresh paint in the hall. It's spacious with a fridge & sink area. Very modern decor and a stand up shower. Breakfast was good, pretty standard stuff. If youre here for work YOU will love all the charging stations. Nice gym & a fire pit outdoors. Too cold to swim but there's one of those too. Would definitely recommend for travelers. read more

Everything from the accommodations to the entire staff was excellent. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. They all loved our dogs. How can you not like a place that caters to dogs? The hotel was fairly new with a bright and modern design. Nice and clean decor. Well kept up. They kept the coffee and hot cocoa ready and available 24/7. They had a grassy area to walk the dogs. I just can't say enough good things about this place. Moderately priced and well worth every penny! Thank you to the manager and staff for all you did for us! read more

I stayed here last minute driving through the area. The staff was so friendly! The place was incredibly clean and organized. Definitely a great hotel setup for someone that didn't expect to sleep over a night. Downstairs they had everything I might need should I forget. read more

A great hotel, very spacious and very accommodating. It's close by a Walmart and Cracker Barrel yum yummy. They have a nice little gym which was important for me. Very close my gas stations and freeway. read more

The hotel is new so it was pretty nice. However, when the hotel is full there is not enough parking onsite. We had to park across the street on the street and walk to the hotel. When you pay $275 for a room you expect to at least have a place to park at the hotel. read more

I am so disappointed! I travel regularly for work (minus a few months due to COVID), am a Diamond member and someone told me to stay at this hotel. I had no hot water the entire week - nobody could say for sure when it would be fixed, and they didn't seem to care. Waking up to a cold shower all week is not my idea of comfort and I will never stay here again. read more

Warmest hospitality. Helpful team members with amazing attitude to accommodate home away from home guests. Love them! Thin walls. Bring ear plugs to block hallway chatter. No stove. Ask for portable burners! Full size fridge. Amazing daily hot breakfast. 2 sets of coin operated washer and dryer, bring quarters! $1.50 per wash/ dry cycle. read more

We booked this reservation 9 weeks in advance. We called 2 days before arrival to confirm the exact dates and room type, was assured no problems. We received a phone call at 6:04 pm from a girl at the front desk stating they had given our room away and it was no longer available. We are a Hilton honors member for 12 years and had a guaranteed, with a credit card on file , specific room. This was not only inconvenient and inconsiderate but just flat out WRONG! We didn't want a discount later or comped rooms , we wanted the room we booked on the nights we booked them .
