I bought my dream car at Florida and requested the car to be wrapped in Xpel Paint Protection Film…read more(PPF) all around since I was driving it back to Delaware and it was definitely a keeper. After the first wash, I found some minor installation defects in the film which I gave Brandon's Window tinting the task to fix. Immediately Brandon insisted that the only and safest way to fix those minor defects (edges coming off) was removing and reinstalling a new film. I obviously agreed since I was trying to do what was safest for my brand new car. I was thinking, what could go wrong? Worst case I can just go to another shop and have them redo the wrap. I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE WRONG! My Brand new 2022 AUDI RS5 Black optic carbon Package was given back to me with irreparable damage. The installer cut the film while on the car and cut through the paint multiple times (over ten times). They cut the windshield moldings so hard that I had to replace it. They cut the emblem on the side, the door seal and trim. In addition, they cut both front doors so deep that I had to touch it up three times (looks awful). Imagine my frustration to have to touch up a car with less than 3k miles when Brandon's Window tinting was supposed to help me protect the paint. If that wasn't enough, the film they installed was below average, with glue under the film, light scratches, and a lot of contamination. When I talked to the business owner he expressed the disappointment but still didn't pay me for the repairs. Additional comments: The communication with the business is really bad. Once they have your car, most of the times they don't answer your text or calls (don't call back either). After agreeing on a drop off/pick up time, I showed up and the shop was closed (read about someone else with the same experience). The owner said he had an "emergency" to me as well. I had to leave my car with the next door shop. I can keep writing about why you should not bring your car to this place but, once you get there (if you ignore my review) pay attention to the shop and the personnel and go with your gut. You'll see some other stuff that I didn't even mentioned. PD: I can believe they even dare to put a picture of my car as if they did a good job.

Sensational Experience!!!! Recently, I just bought a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude, and I was…read moreinterested in tinting my front two windows to match my rear windows. So, since I was in the Springfield, PA area I decided to stop into that Tint World store location to get some pricing information for what I had in mind. Immediately upon entering, I was greeted by the front desk representative whose name was "Rose". And, she welcomed me with a friendly "hello" and a "smile'. From there, I explained why I stopped in and Rose was extremely professional, kind, attentive and outgoing & began going over what window tinting options they offered. After going through my options, Rose asked when I was looking to get the tint work done and I asked her if I needed to make an appointment in advance since I just walked-in off the street. It was then she asked me if I'd be interested in getting it done right away since I was already there? At first, I was shocked that they had an opening available. Shortly afterwards, Rose's manager (Ian) came out the shop and confirmed that it would only take an hour to get everything completed. So, I said sure, let's get it done! Honestly, I can say that the entire job only took roughly 45 minutes and I was thoroughly impressed! When they pulled my truck out the bay and brought it around to the front of the store, I was extremely pleased. This was my first time going to Tint World and they were EXCELLENT! From the customer service, attention to detail, great work performed, to how fast they got me in and out at a "decent price", I will definitely go back to them if I decide to do anything else to my truck! They get a A++++++ from me!!! Kudos to Rose and Ian for making my 1st time experience a pleasurable one!!!

I was quoted a pretty reasonable price and made an appointment for 8:30 on a Saturday morning…read more Prior to my appointment I called back and asked how long would the service take. I was advised the services would take 3 hours. I woke up early on a Saturday very exited and eager to have my services . Since I was advised the services would only take 3 hours, I called at 11:30am to get a time estimate for pickup. Only to be disappointed with a response from Ian that my car just went back at 11:30 am. 3 hours from then I stopped pass the shop due to me being in the area, and my car was infact in the same spot where I parked at 8:30am. Ian was rude and dismissive. Instead of apologizing he condesenly asked "well do you need your car? You will get a text when it's ready". I got a text at 5:12pm indicating my car would be ready for pickup at 5:40pm. When I arrived, instead of saying sorry for the delay. I was greated when a snarky comment "Better late than never", as if that wasn't unprofessional enough, I was then charged a higher price than I was originally quoted. Even though I have a written quote via text, Ian still fast talked and charged me a higher price. A price that I wouldn't of agreed upon had I known the day I made my appointment. Ian came off very condescending, arrogant, rude, and aggressive. He made this experience horrible for me. I will be contacting the better business bureau due to be quoted one price and charge a different price after service

1-Star Review Do not trust this business -- awful experience…read morewith engine replacement AND used cars I originally went to Shorty's to buy a used car in cash, but the owner talked me into replacing the engine in my current car instead (2015 Dodge Journey). He claimed he could get a refurbished engine at a discount through his commercial account, and quoted $3,100 for the engine and $2,200 for installation. At first, it all sounded legit. But after paying, I quickly realized how shady it really was. * He only gave handwritten paper receipts * No engine documentation * No warranty paperwork * No breakdown of the labor * The mechanics refused to speak to me, saying I had to talk to him directly * And when I asked how they priced the job without even inspecting my car, I got NO answers Every time I asked for clarity, I was told to "relax" -- and then he started communicating only with my fiancé. At one point, he literally told him: "Don't let her get in your head." Excuse me? I'm the one paying. I'm allowed to ask questions. When I asked for a refund, he flat-out refused until I mentioned taking him to court -- then he suddenly said he'd refund some of it, but keep 25%, which was NEVER mentioned before and isn't in any written agreement. And let's be clear -- I've since learned this isn't just about repairs. His used cars are known to break down just months after purchase, according to other people who've dealt with him. I've filed a complaint with the Delaware DOJ Consumer Protection Unit and will be pursuing legal action. This business is not trustworthy, and families deserve better. DO NOT go to Shorty's for repairs, used cars, or anything else beyond a basic car wash.
