The pricing is highly competitive, and glass has always been of high quality. They have been very prompt in getting our fleet vans in and out! Delaware auto glass is my go to for chips and windshield replacements. Stay away from rip-off Safelite. read more

What a mess! I made an appointment at Delaware Auto Glass to replace my windshield on Thursday, August 13. I thought they were decent people to work with. I drove a half hour to get my windshield replaced today, and they forgot to order the glass. Didn't even say they were sorry! Not recommended!! read more

Quick service and fair pricing. I was a bit skeptical since they quoted me a great price. I made the trip from Philly so I was definitely keeping an eye on my lane assist, adaptive cruise control, etc. on my way back home. Everything works great! read more

Was called on Monday morning and said they could have my window replacement in by noon if I wanted to come in the same day. I scheduled my appointment for 3pm and made arrangments at work. Gave them my keys when I arrived and was told about 20 minutes later that the wrong window came in. Not sure why they didn't check their shipment prior to my appointment but ok. I was told they could order the correct window and have it in first thing the following morning. I made an appiontment for 9am and made more arrangements. Received a phone call around 715 that they couldn't get the window in again today and they should have it by tomorrow. Needless to say I am NOT giving them my business. I dont care if it was their fault, the wholesalers fault, whoever but I shouldve receveid a phone call the first time & they shouldve made sure they could order it the second time prior to scheduling my appointment. Not an acceptable way to run a business. They also have a sign on the window that says a 3% surcharge is charged for any debit or credit purchases. I thought that was illegal for debit cards? read more

Terrible experience had to pass inspection at the dmv so had my windshield replaced due to a crack, went and got it replaced just to find out my windshield wipers no longer worked. Went back and the guy swore up and down that they didn't do anything involving the windshield arms or cowl needless to say I went home and removed it myself only to find multiple bolts missing in the cowl and the connector to the wiper arm unplugged 0/10 Would not recommend go spend your money elsewhere this place is very unprofessional. While I was there 2 people came in complaining about there cars being messed up after the install Very Unprofessional read more

they broke my windshield even more and refused to replace it. also cursed me out!!! terrible customer service.

Honestly the many disgruntled reviews made me nervous to say the least, but the service great! The lady at the front desk was nice but the real star of the show was the glass technician. I didn't get his name but he was wearing a beanie and had a long beard. He fixed my windshield wiper (a problem that I didn't even know I had). I would definitely come back! My repair was covered by my insurance so I didn't have any out of pocket cost.. read more

My rear glass needed to be replaced on my 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz. On two different occasions I called Delaware auto Glass and both times I was give a quote of $350 and 4 hours of work. I scheduled the appointment for an early morning drop off. About an hour after dropping off I get a phone call explaining that the price will now be $800 and take 2-3 days. I was then told that by who I can only assume is either the owner or the manager, that he did not want to do the job. This is without a doubt one of the most unprofessional acts I have ever encountered. read more

I stopped in today to have a chip on my window repaired. Imagine my surprise that they sent me home after explaining the chip had already been (properly) fixed (the car is new and I just hadn't noticed it). That level of honesty is so rare and I was floored! read more

The worst experience ever! Do not go there. Bob is awful. Went to have my front windshield replaced and immediately noticed something was off. After looking realized the glass color didn't match the rest of my car windows. I called and got Bob who was the most disrespectful human I've ever come in contact with. Turns out the windshield installed was aftermarket and I had no knowledge. He called me a bitch and hung up on me several times so I had my dad call and he was just a disrespectful to him. He told a bold face lie that I knew the windshield was aftermarket. Please do not go there. You will regret it. Bob doesn't deserve to be in business getting people's hard earned money and he will reap what he has sewn. read more

scheduled to have my Honda truck rear window replaced. I was told approx 1 week for the rear glass to come in. when the part comes, they would call to schedule the repair. After a week and a half I followed-up. The lady on the phone had zero clue what was going on. She stated that they couldn't get the glass in. She sounded confused and was unhelpful. This company had zero plans to call me to let me know. What a joke. Dont waste your time. read more

The folks over at Delaware Glass are extremely professional and definitely fair with their pricing! They told me 90 minutes, and it was 90 minutes. I'm so pleased with the outcome. I truly hope that "I" don't ever have to see them again (lol), but if you need glasswork done, they are the ones to help you!! read more

Needed my windshield replaced due to a crack caused by a stone and their price was quite competitive since they don't use factory parts. Plus there is no sales in DE. The repair job was done quite quickly and I was on my way in under an hour. The job was sufficient but one of my window wipers wasn't aligned properly and was slightly bent. I had to take it off and fiddle around with it for about 20 minutes to try to align it properly. Still doesn't fit as it did before the windshield was replaced but I didn't feel like buying a new windshield wiper either. I did save $20 dollars with a coupon by going to their shop vs. having them come out to replace the glass. Downside was having to drive all the way to south of Newark, DE (only do in-person repairs if you live in DE). Waiting area is very sparse with no bathroom, vending machines, or coffee. Just a bunch of largely uncomfortable chairs. No natural light either They did have free WiFi and it wasn't the absolute worst place to have to wait an hour. Can't walk to any other place to wait either. I'd consider going back here again but would have to weigh it against inconvenience of driving down here. Price was really hard to beat though. read more

Shortly after a front windshield replacement, noticed a weird hum at higher speeds. Two months after installation, there's now a six inch hairline crack. They said I must've scraped it too hard, which is impressive, since I only ever used a brush to sweep the snow off. They're the cheapest in town, sure, but you get what you pay for, and then they'll tell you it's your fault if it breaks. read more

I had an appointment for 10am. I arrived at 9:55 and checked in. They did not pull my car into the garage to begin work until 10:33. So much for making an appointment! The waiting room is uncomfortable and there are no desks. I hope it's done in the 90 minutes they predicted. read more

I took my truck to get a windshield on 1-23-2023 at 1: 00 pm and they took my tools out the truck I call they said they would pull the camera then said they not responsible so do not take your work truck pass this place they still anything they can it's not worth the hassle of having to remove all tools and I stayed there as soon as he parked my truck I paid then got in the truck no time for anyone else's to take my stuff so please don't go to this place read more

I had an absolutely wonderful experience today that just changed my entire mood about the situation as to why I had to get my rear window changed. The end price was exactly what the quote was. I have been a customer for Mike (Bob is not really his name) for over 25 years. I am in the car and truck business locally. Today he used extremely horrible language including F bombs.... For a misunderstanding of the rates. I tried to explain that I am simply just asking if he can do 2 windshields without charging me for 2 travel charges. He went off and started cussing and told me to go somewhere else. 25 years I have been going to Mike. And this is how he treats me?? Anyone who wants a good deal on glass and with great service... call Bo's auto glass. He will match Mikes price and won't disrespect you read more

This was my first time using anyone other than Safelite to repair my windshield. I decided to shop around for a more competitive price due to my insurance deductible. In doing so I found Delaware Auto Glass and had a great experience from beginning to end! They had my windshield in stock and were available to replace it the very next day. I was given the option of coming into the shop or for them to come to my location to complete the work. I was extremely pleased with the friendly and professional customer service as well as the job performed. I will not hesitate to recommend Delaware Auto Glass to anyone in need! read more

Delaware Auto glass team was prompt, professional, and got the job done quickly and affordably. From the first phone call with Bob I knew I was in good hands with my 1984 van. He made me feel comfortable when he told me he's worked on plenty of them before. Dwayne was thorough and did a great job. He even removed a wasp nest and helped strap up the weather sealing inside my driver side door. Really went above and beyond! I hope I don't need any more auto glass replaced, but if/when I do I will definitely be coming back to Delaware auto glass m. read more

Had a 10:00 appointment this morning to have my windshield replaced. Drove 45 minutes from home to the shop, only to be told that my windshield was not onsite and I needed to return tomorrow. Solved the problem however horrible customer service from receptionist!!! I walked in and started to walk out because the receptionist did not say hello when I spoke to her. As I was waiting fro my window to get fixed 3 people paid for their service and she never said thank you to any of them and after the customers said thank you she did not respond. Even when I paid for my service I waited for her to say thank you after she didn't I said thank you and she replied. Uh huh!!! The guy that worked on my car was very nice and did a good job . JUST GET ANOTHER RECEPTIONIST. Poor customer service can kill a business!!!!! read more

Good - friendly staff and cheap prices. Bad - very poor work. Had a broken rear window on my car. They were super nice and the price was great. Had to call them out a second time due to window not going up or down two days later. Sucks to waste more time, but not a big deal. They came out and fixed but the next day I noticed a buzzing coming from the speaker and wobbly door panel. Didn't want to schedule a third time, so decided to open it up myself - saw the screws on speaker were not put back on at all. It was just floating there by one screw - no wonder it was buzzing! Worst yet, there was still broken glass inside the car door and he had bent most of the rubber nipples that keep the door fastened. Hence it being wobbly. Went ahead and bought the screws and nipples myself and fixed. Called and had a friendly guy apologise and indicate he wishes I would have given them chance to fix it instead of doing it myself. Problem is - they already had two chances to fix it. He offered to pay for the screws and nipples if I provided a receipt - which is a little insulting and really not enough to make the situation any better. read more

I didn't even get serviced here! They were straight up honest about not being the best service place for my vehicle. You gotta give credit where credits do, A LOT of places would take your money and run. They seemed genuine on explaining what would happen and what they are capable of. I have another car with a similar but not as severe issue, they are getting that job, cause of their integrity on the first job. read more

dropped car and was there for more than 3 hours for a service that was supposed to take an hour and a half. I checked and my car was still outside had not been worked after more than 3 hours. I asked the receptionist and the supposed owner about the delay and was met with disrespectful and was told to fuck off and leave. I would advise anyone, especially black people to avoid this business. The yelling, the disrespect and I professionalism was another level. These people do not respect black people at all, everyone one else I saw was treated with smiles and welcoming demeanor but mine experience as a person of color was different. It is unfortunate that a business is run that way. read more

I'm so glad I did my research before agreeing to my insurance's recommendation to go to Safelite. Delaware Auto Glass was the easiest task on my to do list. They gave me an online quote and called me in less than 10 minutes to schedule a next day appointment at my convenience. Also offered a $20 discount since I came into the shop. When I arrived, the repairman walked me through in detail what he was going to do step by step and showed me the new windshield. He told me it would be 1.5 hours but had it done in less than an hour. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I would highly recommend Delaware Auto Glass not only for the amazing work and efficiency but also for the amazing price. It's was nearly half of what Safelite offered. Also the replacement came with a 1 year warranty. Thank you Delaware Auto Glass!! read more
