She is not a symptom treating doc. She is all about getting to the root. She does not want to unnecessarily over-medicate, and is very compassionate in understanding patient concerns and addressing them. It's true, she's not fast. Haha. Meaning, she takes her time with each patient. And this is probably the single most amazing thing about her. I hope she never changes this. Some people complain she is always late. So what!!!The quality of care and thoroughness of your appts with her are unmatched. If you leave with any unanswered questions, it's your own damn fault, not hers. She's willing to answer anything and everything related to your care. Above and beyond is the name of her game. It's absolutely amazing. I've never felt so cared about by a doctor in my life. The amount of confidence I have in her and her team is unmatched. She is an absolute gem. And Jess, her Assistant. Don't even get me started. Talk about a bad-ass. I have been dealing with chronic pain for 2 years now and needed a referral from this office to Rheumatology. I went for an in-person appointment and had my Rheumatologist picked out and their fax number, address etc. all written down. It could not have been made easier. It took them SIX WEEKS to get the referral sent properly. Along the way the front office brushed me off and wouldn't let me speak to MAs who actually knew what they were doing. They were quite frankly condescending and dismissive. When my doctor weighed in, he offered no apology and kind of shrugged his shoulders. For a specialist scheduling several months out, they added an extra month and half to my wait while in severe pain and scared out of my mind not knowing what was wrong with me. My doctor said, "well the issue here is that the attending needs to sign or else they can't accept it". OK... why are you telling me this?! I cannot create nor sign the referral as a patient!!!! That's what YOU do. I could go on and on. It's not all bad (hence the two star review instead of just 1 star) they have some good doctors there and I have had some good experiences with staff. But when I really needed help, I was cast aside.

People who are mad at Optima because the prior practice decided to sell? People who are mad at Optima because prior practitioners decided to leave? Why don't you be mad at the previous practice and not the new one? People who are made that prescriptions won't be filled over the phone? (Filling a prescription without seeing and evaluating a patient is just unsafe, bad practice anyway). A lot of misplaced frustrations. My husband went today as a new patient and this far exceeded my expectations, so take prior reviews with a grain of salt. Okay, with that out of the way, I just wanted to sing the praises of FNP Junnesh Moushi. My husband had been suffering debilitating pain from a slipped disc and Junnesh really took the time to assess him, form a plan that worked for us, and was clear about our next steps in management. I felt she truly cared about his ailments and what was most impressive was this was our initial visit. Setting up an appointment was easy enough, and we were able to get in quickly. I don't know what more I could have asked for. Highly recommend Junnesh for her compassion, attention to detail, and excellent "bedside" manner.

We love her and she's been wonderful with our 9 year old grandson..he's had plenty of medical concerns throughout the years and she's been there the whole time! We began In searching for a new pediatrician immediately, and decided on DSP. From the very beginning (initial phone call)they have been professional, caring, warm, friendly and extremely helpful. We had to go in for a sick visit on a Saturday for our first visit. Dr Patel and staff were wonderful!! She was so warm and caring with our grandson..after we left he said "Gaga I liked her". We feel we made a great decision on selecting this practice as our new pediatrician office. Thank you for your excellent care of your patients truly shows you care about us!!!

We've been ignoring it because they are close and easy to get same day appointments. We had an appointment today at 3:30. The waiting room was packed and I overheard parents saying they were there to see the same doctor. I asked the front desk staff if they were behind (15 minutes after my scheduled appointment) and was notified the doctor still had 3 patients in front of us. I asked the front desk why they didn't call people to tell them that they were so far behind, and she said they didn't know. You don't get delayed THREE appointments that quickly. They also failed to tell me when I checked in for the appointment. Do better. We shouldn't have to juggle kids in your waiting room (especially ones who are very anxious for scheduled vaccines) because you are running behind and don't tell anyone. Pure insanity. We will be looking for a new pediatrician after today.

When I tried to call it was said "a supervisor removed you and they are not here right now" So if you you disagree with their practices and challenge the items that never took place, you are ghosted. You might ask.... was I rude? No, we never even had a conversation over the phone. Did you do something to them? Yes I challenged charges for items that never took place in the appointment. I never even received a Dr's report from that appointment. I'm guessing because the Dr didn't want to put in writing what never took place. Do yourself a favor and avoid this scam of a place at all costs!
