Are we to believe that they came in town, scheduled an appointment for their child (of which you'll also note that none of them stated anything about any care that Scott Miller, PA, gave to anyone...) and then they just left a review all stating that he's a "terrible person" (wow... they DEFINITELY do NOT know him at all if THAT's what they are calling him) and that he's losing his license. Sheesh people. Hope no one is foolish enough to give those yahoos a 2nd thought! PA Miller (yes, this is true- he's not a Dr... but let's just chalk that up to the fact that people simply call him "Dr" because he's their pediatric clinician and they are used to just calling the "medical people in charge" "Doctors". We also hear Dentist offices calling their Dentist "Dr. Soandso"... and our opthamologist is called "the Doctor" by their staff... it's a cultural thing whether you like it or not. I, personally, as an RN, don't like calling Dentists, NP's, PA's, or any other person "Dr" unless they went to med school. But I am not about to go online and bully someone because other people are calling them "Dr Miller". Anywho... tangent...) PA Miller is awesome. He is one of the most caring medical professionals I've ever met. When you talk about bedside manner, his name should come up. He's great. He's willing to think outside the box and give multiple options for your pediatric healthcare needs. When most Dr's would just look in your kids ears, give you a prescription for antibiotics, and send you on your way, he would do all that and then talk to you more about the history of your child's infections... go in to possible reasons or causes for the infections... evaluate the possible need for follow up care with an ENT or allergist... He just goes a step further than most, and as a parent and a health care professional myself, I appreciate that SO much! For those looking for an amazing Clinician, PA Miller is an outstanding man that truly cares about your kids and their health. His license is under review, yes. But only because he stood up for what he believed to be the right thing for his patients. Since when do we punish people for doing that? I hope he gets cleared soon. And I hope people read between the lines in the reviews here, because he is a really really really good health care provider for pediatrics, and we need all of those we can get!

In my case it started with talking with friends and co-workers who have children. As I hunted the elusive prey one name popped up several times, Dr. Kathleen Hutchinson and the folks at Evergreen Pediatrics. It took one phone call and arrange for her to be our Tax Deduction's Doctor. After he came flopping out of The Wife the people at Evergreen were all over making sure he was healthy (unfortunately they couldn't do much about the quaking mass of paranoia that was at the time his new Father). Not just Dr. Hutchinson, but several of the Doctors were involved in his first couple of days on the planet. Since then, through colds, ear infections, sinus infections and one particularly scary incident to us as new parents it's been all Dr. Hutchinson and her nurse, Dorothy. I couldn't say enough about them or recommend them highly enough. Even if you call the emergency number late, she calls fast enough to make your head spin and follows up the next day if you have to see another Doctor. So next time you find yourself knocked up in the 'Couve and need a good Doctor might I suggest this one?

The front desk answer the phone right away and are very friendly-they listened to my entire 'spiel' and seemed genuinely concerned with my daughter's complaints. We were offered many options for that week. When we walked in, we were greeted right away and everyone at the front desk seems to enjoy their job. My daughter really liked that they had a full bookshelf and I liked how clean the waiting room was. The medical assistant was very nice and seems to really enjoy working with children. We met with Dr. Gyorke, who was able to break through my daughter's shy demeanor and got to know her a little bit before jumping into the reason for her visit. He addressed all of her concerns and didn't talk down to her or dismiss her just because she's a child. The man who was transcribing his notes was also very kind. On our way out my daughter said "I really liked that doctor, he's very nice" which I have never heard her say-she usually hates going to the doctor (I mean really though what kid particularly doesn't?). I am so glad I found this office and will be going back to years to come.

Our son had a very large, hard belly that we asked Jesse about at numerous appointments. His response was "oh it's normal for young kids to have pot bellies". This quack just goes through the motions of weighing kids, looking at growth charts and asking about sleep. Critical thinking is not his strong suit. Well it turned out our 25 pound 2 year old had a 2 pound tumor nearly the size of a football in his retroperitoneal space. The surgeon essentially said that any monkey should be concerned by rock hard belly. She said babies can have big bellies but they should be soft. A simple $100 x-ray ultimately led to the discovery of this massive tumor. If Jesse Goldfarb wasn't so wet behind the ears, he may have had the basic foresight to order a cheap, non-invasive test that could have caught this tumor before it was 10% the weight of my son. If this isn't medical malpractice I don't know what is, but we are going to find out.

This place is the bees knees folks…read more I have visited 3 different pediatricians in the past couple months, my google search bar is chock full of things like "small pediatric office, personable pediatrician, ect ect" while those 3 pediatricians we visited may have been fine for some people they simple wouldn't do for us.. Because we were spoiled by our previous pediatrician, or maybe bias.. Regardless to say Rich Martin is to blame for treating us too darn good.. The guy offered to help us move if that tells you anything.. And he's a car guy too, best.pediatrician.ever You see, Rich always remembered us, when we had a sick kid in the middle of the night we could talk to him, not an advice nurse. He would call us or have someone call us the following day to make sure our child was doing well. Visits that would take 5 minutes most places took an hour with him, you got to put all your concerns on the table and discuss your options. He isnt old school and set in his ways but rather perceptive while still being levelheaded. He would always check the kids over from head to toe to make sure they were healthy. The bottom line is the guy has compassion and cares about his patients.. Not to say the pediatricians down here are jerks, they just have too many patients to remember one kid. We began seeing Rich Martin when our oldest son was 3 months old, he was still working at La Clinica, 3 years later we had our second son, Rich was opening his own practice (awesome!) La Clinica left a lot to be desired... The new office is fantastic, it's completely set up for kids without being tacky looking. We were expecting our daughter in 2012 and were very happy to have the peace of mind that shed have a fantastic doctor. Then my husband was offered a job in the metro area, we were less than thrilled to be leaving our beloved doc. Our daughter was born and we visited the new ped for the first time, the visit was rather rushed by the doc.. After leaving we sat in the car I said to my husband "well what did you think?" "What did you think?" He said " It was okay I guess, but he didn't even ask us if we had any questions or look her over, he seemed in a hurry. I just miss Dr Martin." We were on the same page. So here I sit, trying to find a pediatrician somewhat like good old "Dr Mart" as my oldest son calls him.. It's just not happening, because a good pediatrician is rare these days, especially over here. However having a husband who works mandatory overtime and being a full time student doesn't really make time for 4 hour round trip visits to the doc. So the only solution is to beg him to move his practice, or be our doctor via Skype.. Totally worth it if you ask me.

Her first pediatrician was Dr. Audrey Unrau. She's now retired, but she provided excellent care for our little one, and now we find the same level of care and assurance with Dr. Rosborough. We've also come in to see a few other doctors and nurses for issues that needed immediate attention and all are professional, knowledgeable, and kind. It is rare that we experience long wait times, but the very few times we do, we were updated and given options to reschedule or stay. Our kiddo is very shy and doesn't easily warm up to new people and places at first. Both Dr. Unrau and Dr. Rosborough knew how to interact with our little one, making her feel comfortable while carrying on with exams. They're extremely patient and offer excellent advice. I never feel rushed with the list of questions I present them nor do I feel pressured to do anything I don't feel comfortable giving or practicing with my family. I've been able to get my kid in immediately when something like a mysterious rash suddenly pops up. I value the after-hours service too. Care shouldn't be limited to business hours and that's something they recognize. Talking to their nurses after hours has been very helpful in that they provide knowledgeable advice, assurance, and are able to schedule immediate appointments if necessary. The nurses are very patient. When my daughter was a young toddler, she was VERY fearful of the weight scales and height measurement ruler, and I really liked that nurses like Mia (sp?) were very understanding and patient. She told me she wanted to create positive experiences for my kid at the doctor's office, so she didn't want to push it too much with the eye and hearing tests before our exam. She offered other alternatives and offered another time to have it done. The rooms are bright and fun. The waiting room has fun fish tanks that my daughter always remembers and looks forward to seeing. We haven't experienced any rude staff and were never made to feel like we were another patient. We appreciate the level of care here and would recommend this place to others looking for a good care team for their kids. Other things worth mentioning: they have a great team of psychologists for all ages. When we needed some help with behavior regarding tantrums, potty training, and mealtime, Dr. Collin Dean provided very insightful advice to help us understand the developmental changes going on with our toddler.
