I was hoping for help with Desensitization/Counter Conditioning for my puppy's issues, but apparently it's not done here. Owner could be friendlier, less arrogant, less scattered in communication & less judgy.

Edible grass blade? Oh, everything is edible!

We can't imagine there is anyplace more nurturing or loving for our dogs than Scott-Fox. We've seen first hand and benefited from the magic of the Scott Fox training methods with 2 dogs over the last 8 years. Whether nose work, or Puppy Day Care or Obedience Class, the training is relevant, age appropriate and first rate. Every staffer is a pro with a passion for dogs and wants the very best for them - their love for other people's dogs is always evident. Ms. Scott-Fox is very knowledgeable with extensive training experienced and a wry sense of humor. (Must be the Brit in her). If you just need a dog sitter or don't want to take personal responsibility to (learn how to) train your dog, go someplace else. This is not just training for your dog. Scott-Fox provides the information and training for dog owners to be successful. Well worth the "tuition".

Penny Scott-Fox is one of the nation's most respected dog behavioral specialists with international acclaim to boot. She came highly recommended by a neighbor of ours who did basic obedience training with their dog. So... we did that too, BUT we have also since done agility training with Scott-Fox Training (think obstacle course training with jumps and weave poles), which is so much fun! Talk about a workout for your dog AND you. We didn't stop there. We continue to take fun nosework class (think K9 narcotic sniffing dog except without the drugs and bombs!) because our dog LOVES it, she actually prefers this over agility training. We're what Penny calls a "Lifer" because we're hooked. She's great at what she does. As her web site says, "her passion for training is contagious." True dat. We've caught that bug big time.

My very alpha dog needed a lot of training and Dawit turned him into a more calm alpha dog who knows his place at home and in public. I'm so very thankful and cannot be more happy with how much of a good boy my dog is. As a first time dog carer, I've learned so much from Dawit and would definitely recommend his training to anyone.

We became prisoners in our own home. We either had to take him everywhere with us or have one of us stay behind. It became a huge burden, and we found ourselves scheduling our entire lives around our dog. We decided to work with Dawit, and little by little, things started to improve. When we got Cooper back from training, he was like a completely different dog. He no longer pulled on the leash, was not reactive when he saw other dogs, his recall was amazing, and many of our typical worries disappeared. However, the separation anxiety still persisted. This is where Dawit truly deserves recognition. He never gave up on us or on Cooper. Our training journey probably lasted longer than most because of how severe Cooper's anxiety was, but Dawit went far beyond the typical follow-ups. Over the course of several months, the training sessions, check-ins, texts/videos, communication, and home visits finally paid off. There were times when I genuinely thought we'd never be able to return to a normal life, but our consistency combined with Dawit's continued support and new techniques made all the difference. Cooper can now stay home alone in his crate without issues. That being said, training only works if you put in the effort. We followed through with everything Dawit recommended, even when it was difficult or when we didn't see immediate results. It's easy to fall back into old habits or give up when progress feels slow, but perseverance truly pays off. Side note: Dawit is just an all-around great person who genuinely cares about what he does. Our dog absolutely adores him. We also love the boarding services he offers -- especially because Cooper comes home exercised and happy. Another huge plus is that Cooper is now off-leash certified, and we fully trust him to make good decisions. Yes, it can be costly, but it's an investment and honestly, I don't know another dog as well‑behaved as ours. I'm incredibly proud of the work it took to get here.

I thought I can just follow tutorials online, but none of the methods worked. I decided to get a professional and found Master Dog Training through Yelp. I read all the reviews and was impressed with how many dogs he had trained. Different breeds and ages. I texted him and he provided me all the information and we confirmed a date. I saw a promotional price for Temple City, but since I am at another city, it is a different price. I did text him a day before our appointment to remind him just in case, per our agreement. My puppy is getting the "DOG OBEDIENCE TRAINING: Commands and Problem Behaviors, pulling on leash, dumpster diving, counter surfing, mild barking, potty training, jumping, digging, chewing, nipping, not listening. NOT FOR DOGS WITH AGGRESSION or FEAR!" A total of 5 sessions, once a week, 55 minutes per sessions. This training is done at my place and indoor. By the end of his training, he learned 18 commands in 5 weeks! Please note that it also depends on your effort and if you're training your dog daily with what was taught. Mike is great with our puppy! Turns out he owns the same breed as me. From my perspective, he trained my husband, me and my puppy altogether. If you're doing something wrong, he would tell you. He is patient, always on time, and so kind to my puppy. I especially love the graduation ceremony. I was holding in my tears. Overall, we are very happy with Mike and the result.

We are very happy with Michael's approach to training. He is effective and nurturing, but firm and very patient. We prefer his style of training as it is supportive and encouraging. When discipline is needed, we have firm commands that Michael taught us. He also provides tips for helpful products like corrector spray and developmental and age appropriate toys. His "graduation" ceremonies are so fun! We had a standing weekly appointment, but Michael was flexible when things came up and responds to any calls/texts in a timely manner. We plan to return for advanced training to continue our puppy's learning.

Daisy and Koda have very different temperaments, but Francesca was able to adapt her approach to meet each of their individual needs perfectly. If your dog is leash pulling and taking control of your walks, Francesca can give you the tools to lead your dogs in a more balanced walk. What I appreciated most was her focus on clear communication. She didn't just work with the dogs; she taught me how to lead them effectively so the training actually stuck at home. It is a continued work in progress, but now I have the tools to be consistent and train my dogs and future dogs. Whether it was working on leash manners or basic boundaries, the progress is incredible! If you're looking for a trainer who truly understands dog behavior and treats your pups like her own, I can't recommend Francesca enough. She is an avid dog lover and wants all dogs to acheive a better quality of life. Daisy and Koda are much more balanced now, and our walks are actually enjoyable!

We had tried what felt like everything and his separation anxiety was so bad that it got to the point that my partner and I basically gave up our social lives, had to coordinate with one another one of us would be going to the market or if it would be a trip where we both can go but someone sits in the car with our dog. We met the team at K9 Logic Dog Training and they assessed our dog and determined what kind of training program would be best for him to address his separation anxiety and the other skills we wanted to work on. Within a week we noticed progress. We finally were able to leave the house for an hour and go to the market together. Week by week the time has gradually gotten longer where we have been able to leave him alone for longer periods of time to reclaim our social life back. I was skeptical at first, but after that first week I became a believer. We are so happy with the results that for the purpose of just giving him structure and routine we signed him up for more classes and he LOVES being at school. We've also participated in the weekend group training sessions and they are so helpful to not only give our dog routine, but it's a great way to reinforce structure and keep him sharp with everything he learned at school. After a consultation at the residence-turned-dog-training-facilty we decided on the 3 week boarding program. We boarded our Maltipoo pup, Remy, during the peak of teething-destory everything era while we were out of town for wedding. The trainers were really great and patient with him. You could have also tell Remy was very comfortable with them. When we picked up Remy he was happy, healthy and very excited to see us. He also exhibited more attention and checked in with us more. Pulling on the leash became non-existent and his new default is now to sit in a heel position. The only improvement I'd suggest is that I wish I received more updates regarding Remy while he was boarded. We received a photo and say a couple of videos on Instagram, but more would have been welcomed. Regardless, we're happy with the training and the additional homework/tips to practice while at home. Remy continues to be a regular at the group trainings and other outings hosted by K9 Logic. I feel comfortable with my pup socializing with different dogs in the presence of the K9 Logic team.
