An algorithm decided to throw out seemingly honest, personal and positive interactions with Leslie Pools, and yelp instead displayed negative reviews that seem fake, vague or irrelevant. MY EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN GREAT AT LESLIE'S! And a big reason is because of my interaction with Craig at the Bee Ridge Location. He (and the very busy installers on the national level) bent over backward to try to accommodate my short schedule in getting new pool equipment installed. All it took was for us to go to the shop in Sarasota twice, call them three times and expose them to the public to get it fixed. They took over one year to complete my pool, when they promised at contract signing that it would "only take a few months". Completion should have been in June, but didn't happen until 10/31. Lots of blaming the county, blaming other contractors, blaming Ian (which happened a few years earlier), etc, etc. The workers just show up unannounced, which is alarming when they appear in your backyard without prior notice. Once the pool cage was up, they'd also just walk right on in. Extremely unprofessional for them to not bother knocking on the door to alert you they are there to work. Shoddy work (one part has failed twice already). They also don't know how to get the control panel to work with the app (which the sales guy said was "so easy to do"). This company has also called me a liar to prospective new customers. It's extremely unprofessional for them to do that. If any of you all want proof, I have tons of email and text trails showing that this company royally sucked and didn't do their job professionally, nor on time. And to call me a liar for letting the world know about the terrible experience I had...they are horrific. When you have loads of negative reviews about a company, it really tells the story.
