Over the 10 days and 3 general dentists visits it took before I finally came to Dr Falke I'm not sure how many times I shattered dishes against the wall and chased my wonderful boyfriend who was just trying to help out of room. After trying to get in with more than a few oral surgeons that were at least 2 weeks out I got Dr Falke's office and the very nice receptionist said she could fit me in the next day (never could have imagined I'd jump for joy to get a dentist appointment.) After a traumatizing experience having a wisdom tooth pulled I was terrified to have another big molar extracted. But Dr Falke and his staff were so kind and patient with me it really helped take the edge off. Dr Falke has the BEST bedside manner...like the perfect balance of warm and casual, and confident and very skilled. I was surprised how quick he got that big tooth out. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call from Dr Falke that same day to see how I was doing and if I had any questions or concerns. If you're in need of an oral surgeon I would definitely recommend you try Dr Falke's office, especially if you're "dental phobic" like me.

She said she would call me back with the highest estimate fore removing six teeth so I would not be surprised. She called back and said $1,500 would be the highest. So we went on 12/16/2025 when we got there the price changed my portion $2,566.40 on the statement I told her I could not pay that what happened to the $1,500 as the highest. she told me that the person I made the appointment with was let go. I should have left then with the high jump in price. so she said let me see if she could get my daughter a discount she came back with another statement showing discount $80.30 discount $80.30 discount $ 300.00 for total $2,242.00. So I said to okay and paid we had traveled 45 min to get there. Dr. Falke came out 30 minutes later and said my daughter was very emotional. My daughter was wheeled after him crying crocodile tears and laughing at the same time. I was upset because there was no recovery time very strange I did like it. I told the nurse because he left 2 seconds later. Today 4/28/2026 I get a text from Dr. Falke's office saying I owe $307.40 So I called she said it was for anesthesia they billed insurance 45min and they paid 15 min so I owe for 30min of anesthesia even though they gave me some discount on the anesthesia. And put my daughter out literally 30 min later not 45min as a basket case for the next 20 minutes. I would never recommend him you don't treat people this way he tries to get as much money as he can. 4 teeth impacted- partially bony 2 impacted - completely bony with unusual surgical complication according to him more money. She was only 19 years old and never had a cavity. Pediatric dentist twice a year from 1yrs until 18

But, my wisdom teeth were removed a few years ago by Dr. Muff, so now I can remember the experience for what it really was: GREAT! I was referred to Dr. Muff by my dentist--twice. I kept putting the surgery off because again, no one likes getting work done to their teeth. But it had become serious. I was teething just like my toddler daughter. And just as she would get feverish and catch every bug, I would, too! The ever-opening wound in my mouth was NOT good for my health. My favorite thing about Dr. Muff is that he never made me feel bad for putting off the surgery. Ok, and that he laughed at my jokes! His bedside manner is superb. I was comfortable and confident from the consultation to the surgery to the follow up to the recovery (aka Netflix & Popsicle marathon). Dr. Muff also was cool and collected when I announced I did not have health insurance. The office worked out an easy payment plan that worked great for me! His willingness to work with my finances was a major indicator that he really CARED about my oral surgery. He WANTED the best for my health--even if it meant some patience on his part--THAT was refreshing! The office staff was great. They supported Dr. Muff so he could excel at what he does best--surgery! I have confidently directed friends and colleagues to Dr. Muff's office; I know he will take excellent care of every single person who is under his care. Thank you!

From the moment I called in, the staff was professional, welcoming and extremely organized. They made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Pricing was transparent and explained very well. His expertise and calm demeanor really stood out to me. The procedures themselves were much easier than I thought they would be. My recovery was quicker than I expected too! The entire team genuinely cares about their patients and goes above and beyond to provide excellent care. If you're looking for a skilled oral surgeon with an outstanding staff, I highly recommend Dr. Melendrez and Silver State Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Melendrez gave me the novocaine and stayed in the room and chatted until it was time to get started. It was a very nice conversation and it put me at ease. He worked quick. The extraction and the bone graft took less than 15 minutes. There was barely any swelling or pain. I highly recommend Dr. Melendrez and his staff especially if you are anxious going to the dentist.

I dislike it to the point that it had been over 15 years since I'd been in a dentist's office when a friend recently convinced me that it was time and I got to go see Dr. Nick Furchner. Dr. Furchner completely understood my fear and insisted that I let him know if I felt any pain at all so he could make it stop. He's very slow and gentle when injecting Novacaine, to the point that I felt maybe 6 small pinches throughout the entire appointment, which included having 2 teeth extracted. He will take as much time as you need, both during procedures and, more importantly, answering any questions that you have. He explains everything, and it's obvious that he really knows his stuff and is still excited about making you and your teeth happy. And he's fun to chat with as well. His staff are all friendly and efficient. The office is nice; I really like the skydiving pics everywhere (since I'm a jumper too...). I'm going back for further work over the next few weeks. Instead of being scared shitless like I was prior to the first appointment, I'm -almost- looking forward to it. That is amazing, and it's because Dr. Furchner is so good at what he does that I can say that. I would recommend Dr. Furchner to anybody and everybody - I'm driving all the way from Sacramento to see him - but I especially recommend him to those who've had bad dentist experiences in the past and have avoided dental care since. If only every dentist were like him!

Dr. Firchner and his staff are always completely professional and hospitable. Your comfort is their concern and they make sure you know it! I have never had to wait more than a few minutes when I arrive for my appointments. I guess I was comparing it to a root canal in another state from 20 years ago that was horrific. I worried for no reason. I know little to nothing about dentistry yet I did attend medical school and designed a lot of medical equipment, so I know quite a bit about medical procedures. Dr. Lang made the experience very easy and no pain at all after the injection. It was clear he took his time and didn't rush anything, while always making sure I was comfortable and ok. I also especially liked his pleasant demeanor and communication to let me know not only what was going on, but also what was about to happen and what I might feel, so it would not be a surprise. Then there was his other general communication off topic of dentistry. And what other doctor will ever call you on the phone after a surgical procedure to see how you are doing? NONE, except Dr. Lang. I put him at the top of every Doc I've seen over the last 50 years !!! As a side note regarding a couple other reviews. It is interesting that a couple people say Dr. Lang is fabulous yet give the practice low marks based on an unpleasant interaction with a staff member. Hey folks, you aren't reviewing a burger joint. Your rating for a business like this is supposed to be about the main person, the doctor. It is a bit ridiculous to rate a practice based on the front staff that might come and go over time and get replaced. All these ratings should be 5 start since everyone seems to love the work he does.

It should have been pulled and an implant put in.... Another implant. The hygienist, Tanya, her hands are shot... locked fingers which she has had to have surgery for. The relies on just using a cavitron. I have asked her each time to PLEASE DO HAND SCALING as someone with the extensive amount of dental implants, bone grafts and sinus lifts and all my teeth are now caps... you can not feel if there is ANYTHING going on under the margin of the tooth and gum line with a cavitron. I told Tanya twice my tooth hurts in the back and she never called in the doctor which is why I wanted to have a pero office hygienist do my cleaning due to the volume of dental work I have. Anyway long story short.... His front office receptionist tried to first tell me I did not change all my other scheduled hygiene appointments with the other hygienist and then she tried to tell me that I was not a pero patient, meaning deep root cleanings and I should ask my brother what a pero patient is as he is a dentist 6-7 hours away. I do not need a rude uneducated front office receptionist by the name of Gina, telling me I am not a periodontist patient, having just moved from New York City and having the best Periodontist doctors, Dr. Bart and Lauren Langer work on my teeth these past 20 plus years. Gina was exceptionally rude, the doctor should have never performed the gum graft in the first place so it was a was of $1300 My finding and awareness is when a dentist reaches a certain age, they go for the money and with Covid it is hard to sell your dental practice as the new dentist wants to see the last 3+ years of income and with covid it make that hard to do. Anyway long story short... I CANCELLED all my future appointments a couple of days laters as I was so upset by the way that Gina treated me. She is rude, uneducated and unqualified to made a dental diagnosis by telling me I am not a Periodontist patient, and Tanya should have had the doctor come in and look at the back molar, where the gum recessed there was decay and the root was expose causing my pain. LAZY. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DENTIST AT ALL. SO RUN! FIND ANOTHER DENTIST THIS OFFICE IS GOING FOR THE MONEY.
