The dental assistants were incredibly kind and attentive. They thoroughly explained my post-operative care instructions and made sure all of my questions were answered. One assistant even gave me a stress "tooth" to squeeze during the procedure, which was such a thoughtful gesture and helped make the experience much less nerve-wracking. The office itself is clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and genuinely cared about my comfort and well-being. They answered all my questions and was so patient with me. The oral surgery went better than I expected. I wasn't sedated since I didn't have anyone that could drive me home afterwards. I decided on nitrous oxide to reduce the anxiety and fear. Dr. Melendrez gave me the novocaine and stayed in the room and chatted until it was time to get started. It was a very nice conversation and it put me at ease. He worked quick. The extraction and the bone graft took less than 15 minutes. There was barely any swelling or pain.
