I find this to be a particularly nice branch of Morrisons. It has a petrol station which I have used several times and been impressed with. I find Morrisons petrol prices to be very competitive. The store has a large car park at the front and cash machines at the main entrance. Morrisons stores are laid out like old fashioned markets which is something I personally like and when you enter you will find fresh fruit and veg on display, some of which is on a mock barrell to give the feeling of these markets. The store has an excellent selection of groceries on offer and there are Butchers, Fishmongers and Pie departments, as well as the bakery. Morrisons has a fairly decent non-food section offering homewares, kitchenware, CDs, DVDs and games. Lastly this Morrisons has a great cafe which I have used several times and rate highly. I like the fact you order your hot food at Morrisons and they then cook it for you - there's nothing on offer here that has been sitting on a hotplate for too long drying out! This is an excellent supermarket in East Kilbride.

So much more besides, including alcohol, newspapers and magazines. There's a fair sized car park at the side which was never full when we visited. The Co-op is found just around the corner at the top of the main shopping street and on the Oban (north) road.

It's a small shop and doesn't really get too busy except when there's a £10 meal deal on. I've been a bit lazy recently and really do prefer the range of ready meals at M&S over Waitrose (controversial!) - it's really just because M&S have a lot bigger selection. While it's never going to be restaurant quality food, some of it can be really impressive and tasty - although it's very much trial and error. Prices aren't too bad and the staff are friendly.

Water, milk, soda, sparkling wine, red wine, pasta, bread, steaks, blue cheese, fruit and veggies. Some snacks for our doggie. This enormous store opened a just a few years ago, on the edge of the existing retail park…read more As well as a large grocery section, there is a wide range of clothing (George brand) and a few aisles of homewares, toys, home electricals, music, computer games and DVDs, and seasonal stuff like garden products or Christmas decorations. It's quite possible to spend over an hour just browsing through these things before you even make a start on your shopping. This, however, tends to make the overall shopping bill far more expensive as it's almost impossible to progress to the foodstuffs before you've half-filled your trolley with things you hadn't set out to buy in the first place! I therefore prefer to shop in Morrisons across the road, however this is an excellent store and well worth a look if you've got time to browse.

School lunch is split over 2 different times and I think it is ridiculous that the younger kids always have a huge variety of items to chose from and then the older ones are just left with the scraps nobody wants. I don't think it is fair on people you should be saving stuff for second lunches so it's fair especially with the price you are charging for people not even to get what they want considering there is not many places to get lunch from anymore. I had to get a pasta as it was the only thing left and when I went to buy it, there wasn't even any forks anywhere and it's been that way for weeks now. I am appalled with this all as not only did I not get what I wanted I didn't even have anything to eat it with. I hope someone actually reads this and considers fixing these problems, I am not the only person who thinks as I've heard multi people say the same thing.

I find the security staff intimidating and rude I think one guy there has mummy issues and should really have counselling and not be taking his anger out on customers who do no wrong. The self service section is a joke as half of them have not been switched on and the one l used made me feel as if l just won the jackpot on a fruit machine in a pub, how can a shop justify paying a customer 62p change in 2p pieces. Ice cream that has been defrosted is being re frozen and sold again when l reported the issue to the duty manager he did nothing. Tesco sort yourselves out!
