It seemed very well staffed which meant that I could easily ask for items I was looking for (so often in other shops it's impossible to find anyone to help!) It's very well stocked too and there is a large range of fresh, frozen, tinned and packet foods, plus newspapers and magazines, homewares, cleaning things everything you'd expect inside a good quality supermarket. Best of all were the friendly members of staff I encountered, especially the nice girl at the checkout and then the young man at the kiosk beside the door where I bought a newspaper as an afterthought. I'll definitely call in here again next time I'm in the area.

The staff were understanding and we didn't get a single sigh, perhaps they knew how awful it was. The new rolls weren't that great though, the sausages had been deep fried and were almost black and the bacon was alright but the rolls were cheap doughy affairs. I didn't eat mine. We were in for around 25 minutes and not one table was cleared, and there were a lot of dirty ones, the staff had plenty of opportunities to do it. I did however get some fantastic bargains and managed to do a shopping for all 3 of us for £54, that included washing powder, fairy liquid and fairy dishwasher tablets, I can't fault the supermarket part.

When you walk in you see the fresh selection of vegetables followed by the delli counter then the meat counter, fish monger and pastry, with plenty of staff managing each section and floor staff to assist if required. I've always been a fan of their buy one get ten free offers, all the Morrison's stores have a good selection of wines and bottled beer's.

Lovely fresh fruits and vegetables, huge selection of canned, chilled and frozen foods; there's an in-store bakery so you'll find delicious fresh breads and cakes too. It doesn't stock some of the items that are available at the Prestwick branch so I don't spend as much at Irvine . It's an ok shop. But I was annoyed today by the downright rude assistant in the self scan. I needed wine authorising. She came up behind me giving me quite a fright. Didn't say a word to me in greeting. I greeted her and she said nothing. She authorised the alcohol and I thanked her. She said nothing. She walked away having not acknowledged I was a human being. Absolutely woeful customer service. I wonder if the fact I'm elderly and in my 70s had something to do with her thinking I wasn't worth being civil to?

The shelves are usually well filled, always lots of staff around to help. Sometimes the queues can get a bit big at checkouts but they usually bring more on so you don't have to wait too long. Very pleasant shopping experience.

You'll find just about all the foods and other things you'd expect in any good supermarket canned, chilled, frozen and fresh, including lovely breads and cakes. There's also a useful 'Free From' range, ready meals and snacks which included vegetable sushi, which I'd never seen before (I shall buy some of that next time).
