As I was walking to lunch on Kings Street, I wandered into Two Cumberland to peruse the cute products. They have tons of cute clothes, including some stuff that looks to be geared toward college sororities. They also have gifts, jewelry, and homewares. As I grabbed a few items, someone led me to the dressing rooms. I, being a girl shopping alone, needed a second opinion on a dress. Luckily, the staff was so friendly and helpful. Also, other shoppers chimed in and helped make the sale lol. They cashed me out and wrapped my new impulse-purchase dress with tissue paper and a cute bag. It was truly a gift to myself! Signs point you in the direction of "don't give up now- there's more stuff around this corner!" It's endless! The staff is beyond friendly. Every room I entered another person offered to help me find something, get me a drink (a drink?!), and even enthusiastically let me use the bathroom. People in Charleston are nice, but maybe this is where they hoard the nicest people in town and keep them all in one place to help outfit your wardrobe? I even got a very boisterous compliment while descending the stairs from a stranger saying how incredibly stylish I was. My first thought as a New Yorker was, "I don't know you and I think you think I'm somebody else".
