We visited this restaurant at the beginning of September. While the restaurants on the same row were crowded and well attended, this restaurant was not. We tried searching for it online, but only found one with the same name, at the same location, but a pizza restaurant. From it's Facebook page, it was apparently a pizza restaurant up until August this year. It now only serves traditional Italian pastas, salads and meat dishes.
We ordered eggplant parmesan, seafood pasta, spaghetti cabonara, a green salad with roasted pinenuts, and an antipasto platter. The seafood was extremely fresh (almost tasted like the shrimp and squid were just caught from the ocean) and perfectly seasoned with the pasta. The eggplant parmesan was rich and flavorful, and the cabonara had a fresh egg yoke buried under the perfectly concocted spaghetti, pancetta and cheese mixture. The antipasto and green salad were equally spectacular. Every dish was very generous. The two servers (we believe they are Italian, and the owners) were very friendly, jovial and hospitable.
I hope more people will find out about this place. It is unassuming, and absolutely the best moderately priced Italian restaurant we've ever been to.
