My rating is not based on this dealership but based on the service of the two people I dealt with while at the dealership. Bryce, the sales consultant was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable but also compassionate. He spent time listening and asking questions to understand what I wanted and needed. I never felt pressure or hurried. He helped me find the car that was right for me. Brandon, a finance manager, was also extremely patient. He didn't pressure or hurry my decisions. When I went to pick up my car my bill was $800 LESS than what I'd approved. It turned out that I didn't need everything that they had initially thought. They could have not said anything and just collected all of the money but that's not the kind of place they run. My cars are always ready when they promise. This business is very poorly managed by allowing this conduct to occur. We were cussed out and threatened TWICE that "a gun would be put to our heads" if we attempted to pick up my trailer. Matt handled our GN livestock trailer repairs that totalled $2655.72 and of that amt. $202.40 was tax. We are a farm/ranch and have a Agricultural/Timber tax exempt permit. I told him that I had already sent my horse trainer to pick up the trailer with a check made out less the tax. Matt totally freaked out and started screaming, cussing and threatening us. I assured him not to worry and that we would pick up the trailer no matter what was owed. I called my CPA and he said to pay the tax which is exactly what we did. This business DOESN'T HANDLE PROBLEMS OR DISAGREEMENTS VERY WELL AT ALL. What a horrible experience all over a tax exempt issue. TEXAS CUSTOMZ has lost us as a customer forever. WE SHOULD HAVE CALLED THE POLICE after receiving these horrifying threats over not agreeing to paying a tax until we spoke with our CPA. We cannot and will not EVER RECOMMEND TEXAS CUSTOMZ TO ANYONE. I brought my car in, and they only fixed the original problem from last week -- which I already…read morepaid for in full. They refused to even give me a receipt for what I already paid. On top of that, the hose connected to my radiator was messed up after the repair, and now all the coolant leaks out onto the engine, causing it to steam/smoke and make the A/C cut out. When I called to ask if there was any chance they caused the damage, the owner cussed me out, got defensive, refused to have a normal adult conversation, hung up on me, and even blocked me. After that, they were holding my car hostage. It had been 3 days, and they told me, "I'm not giving you the car back until you pay me." For what? I already paid for the original issue and never even got a receipt. They failed to provide the insurance company with what they needed in order to be paid in full. I had to do all of the work myself to make sure they got paid so that they would finally release the car to me. When I confirmed that they received their payment, I went to the shop asking to pickup my car, the owner refused to give me the keys saying "I'm never giving you your car back again" even though everything was already paid in full. He threatened to call the cops if I didn't leave but I told him I wouldn't leave until I got the car, because ultimately they no longer had the right to hold it. In that instant, the owner came up to me, grabbed me, and tried tackling me to the ground. Not only did he put his hands on me but 2 other savage animals infested with rabies came and wrapped their arms around me and swung me around violently. They eventually threw me out of the shop so I immediately called 911. As I was waiting for them to arrive, the owner opened the door and stepped outside screaming at me to leave. I refused because the officer had just shown up. In the result of my refusal, the owner ONCE AGAIN put his hands on me and pushed me in which the officer eventually came over to break up the commotion. Once everything was disputed with the police, they did the right thing and forced the owner to release the car and give it to me. I wouldn't suggest this shop to anyone unless you're are fully up for dealing with scamming, fraud, physical and verbal abuse, as well as a shady atmosphere that encourages you to not use insurance, holds your car with no legal right, denies having surveillance of anything, and refuses to give you a receipt. It is only right for this company to be terminated for the sake of the community.
