Three days later, I picked up my scooter and the cost was actually less than what I was quoted! The WORST SERVICE OF ANY BUSINESS EVER!!! They had my scooter for 6 weeks to repair a tire (in which they had repaired 3 months prior, and they had the scooter for over 2 weeks that time) and could not communicate with me at all. I finally received a phone call 4 weeks into the job that they were waiting on tires due to a national shortage. 2 weeks after that, with no response from my inquires, i was going into shop to find out what is happening. I called on my way down and as I was walking up, they actually called and said it's not ready. I got into the car and got like 6 blocks away and the called and said "there's a scooter here with no tag on it. What's yours look like?" I told them it is a Ninebot with a bag on the front. They told me it's here and it's ready. So, I went back to pick it up. They told me I had to $140!! For a freaking tire change for an electric scooter that they have had in their possession for 6 weeks!! The owner was there walking out the door and i caught him and said "Are you serious? You want me to pay $$140??? 3 months ago you quoted me $45 and then you insisted that I only pay $27 because of how long in took." He said "Well, you're already getting a $360 discount because that's how much the labor costs." I paid the money and got my scooter because I knew that there was no way we were going to agree. I was so upset. I texted the owner right when I got in the car about the terrible service and then the outrageous price. He told me I never paid $27 for a tire and to pretty much get over it because he has to pay his electric and rent and who am I to think I should get some special discount. I sent him screenshots of the conversation we had back then when they had told me the price and when he told me he would give me half off. That made him so mad that he sent paragraph after paragraph of how he operates and it doesn't matter what I paid before. That went on for about an hour. So, the next day I go to ride the scooter and I get 2 miles and the tire breaks. The value stem went into the frame. It's actually UNBELIEVABLE!! I texted him right away and his response was "you can bring it in and if it's something that we did wrong, we will certainly fix it." I said "No way!l" There's no chance o would ever bring me scooter back to that place again!! He got so mad again and started sending his paragraphs ranting and ended with "I don't want to work with you again anyway!" Like a child. I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior and horrible work. I'm a bartender and server and I have talked to many people about this situation and the most satisfying thing is that like 6 people I've talked to have had the same experience with this company. It was the worst experience ever. I have never seen any business owner this much rude and unreliable. I just want everyone out there to know what they will encounter when they go to this place to get their scooter fixed desperately. I have one of those standing up scooters. This place is the only place I knew in key west which can fix those. So I went there. When I get there they rushed me . They made me leave my scooter in the middle of the pavement and got my information so quick and told me they will call me later. I didn't hear from them for two days. Then I gave them a call to see what is going on. They told me the scooter needs a battery and they need to order one. They told me it costs $207 and it will be fixed in 5 days. After 5 days I gave them a call again. The guy told me that they still didn't receive the battery yet. And he was mad at me that I called and checked on my scooter. A few days later I called and ask again it was still not fixed. I decided to get my scooter back and figure something else because apparently they won't fixed it soon. I went to store and asked if I could get my scooter back. He told me he could still fixed it and fed ex didn't deliver the battery. I told him I waited for 10 days to get my scooter back. At least he could be honest with me if he is so busy but he wasn't reliable at all. And then he started to yell at me on top of his lungs just because I was upset with his service and I GAVE HIM A LOOK. I ended up contacting my scooter company ( hiboy) about the battery and they sent me one in 5 days at cost of $150. Thank God there are still good businesses out there which helps the customer and it is a relief to know I am not that desperate to deal with this kind of people. I bought a brand new Bintelli escape & have had nothing but problems! I call & Jeremy the owner tells me he can't find anything wrong. It almost never starts, it has CONSTANT ISUUES & I can't use it! I paid $1500 for this piece of junk because I wanted a new scooter w/ no problems & a warranty. I guess it's true the warranty is as good as the place that issues it & KW scooters direct DOES NOTHING!!! Now I'm stuck having to take them to court!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!
