I was in Rochester for an event at Mayo High School and this was nearby. I had a large turtle mocha with half the syrups (otherwise it's too sweet for me). I also ordered an everything bagel breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was just ok..next time I would try a breakfast burrito. The parking lot was very crowded and requires you to exit a certain direction. There is a drive thru tucked behind the building. The service was great and drink delicious. read more

Wonderful service, good shakes and quick bites. Breakfast sausage was surprisingly spicy and no napkins included in bag though. For a drive thru only establishment you'd think they'd include a few napkins when they give you your items. I'm sure if we had asked for napkins we would have gotten them but drive-thru establishments are so grab and go that we hadn't thought about it. The drive-thru window is weirdly high up, great for trucks but for my compact car we had to reach up to grab our things, so exercise caution if you're getting a bunch of hot drinks! What we got: -their seasonal Peppermint Mocha Blender -everything bagel with egg cheese and sausage -breakfast bacon burrito with a side of salsa included The peppermint Mocha Blender is blended with a little ice-cream to give it a creamy consistency. It has a very smooth mouth-feel with minimal blended ice crystals compared to a Starbucks Frappuccinos. I personally like having a lot of blended ice in my coffee based frappe shakes but the mocha blender wasn't bad. The espresso coffee taste was much stronger than I had expected. My husband who is not a coffee drinker by nature loved it and didn't mind the strong coffee flavor. The everything bagel with sausage egg and cheese was very good. The everything bagel had ample amount of seeds and seasonings giving a nice strong garlic flavor. The egg was a scrambled patty that was spongy and typical for premade sandwiches. The breakfast sausage was very spicy, I found myself reaching for water more than I normally would. I would not recommend the breakfast sausage patty if you don't like spice. The breakfast burrito was a little underwhelming in appearance. I did not see or taste a lot of bacon bits in the burrito but my husband liked the salsa packet that it came with. Our bill was 17 dollars for 3 things. Everything was priced normally for this day and age. Compared to Starbucks, it was negligibly cheaper. Would recommend if on the road and in need of a quick treat. Personally, I prefer Starbucks but I can't hold that against Scooter's. read more

Better than Starbucks! I haven't had their coffee but I had their refreshers. I always get a peach mango iced tea. Staff is always friendly and the service is pretty fast. I've been inside once but mostly go through drive thru. read more

Short staffed or not enough staff on at a time to run the store. They often rely on one person to run the store by themself. Equipment not working frequently. Broken furniture in the "kids area" when I was last went inside with my children. Not clean. I would assume this is a management issue. read more

Stopped in to try Scooter's for the first time and will not return to this location ever. The customer service was beyond terrible I wish there was a lower rating than one star - when I pulled up to the window I could hear multiple members of the staff speaking poorly about customers, mocking customers and generally being rude. It's a shame because the coffee was fine but as a service organization, they need to revisit a few things. read more

My wife and I have been excited to have a Scooter's in Rochester. However, this was by far the worst experience I have ever had in my 45 years of life not only at a coffee shop but at any business that requires customer service. My wife and I waited 30 minutes in the drive-thru (four vehicles deep before we got to talk to an employee); and once we finally arrived at the drive-thru speaker, no one talked to us for five minutes. I thought the speaker must be broken, so we pulled around as we had entered our order ahead order while we were waiting in line. We waited another 15 minutes (45 minutes total now) before we got to the window. Once I let the employee know that we had an order ahead order, she asked if I let them know at the speaker. I said I waited 5 minutes at the speaker, and no one acknowledged my presence, so I thought it was broken and pulled around. She said they they would have to make the order now, and I said that was fine (even though Caribou and Starbucks make any order ahead order as soon as it is placed so it is ready when you get there and don't make you wait until you get there to start making the order). After another 5 minutes, another employee told us we would need to pull back around in line and let them know we had an online order. I said absolutely not and that we would wait at the window until we got our coffee that we had waited for 50 minutes now for. She asked why we didn't let them know at the speaker, and I told her no one acknowledged us for 5 minutes at the speaker so I assumed it was broken and not terrible customer service. She again said I should pull around and re-wait in line or tell all of the customers behind me why they are waiting. Are you joking? That is the worst customer service I have ever experienced! I will be surprised if this Scooter's stays in business. Here are a couple of basic customer service items that might help in the future (though they burned their bridge with me-I will never go back): 1. I get being busy and/or short-staffed. However, acknowledge every customer and let them know you're working on another order. "Hi, we'll be with you in a few minutes. We're working on other orders." 2. Do not place the blame of your situation on the customer and definitely do not tell them to tell all of the other customers why they are waiting so long. Avoid this Scooters like the plague. read more

Great staff, really friendly... food and drinks were so good. The recommendations were on point... the nice employee did recommended the cinnamon roll but i like muffins a little more...The coffee which is their specialty was definitely worth buying.... My husband frozen caramel coffee was 3 (1 to 5) my hot caramel was too sweet but if you love sweet and a a little chocolate croissant your in the right place! We didn't love it nor we didn't hate. . It's middle of the road. Try it! read more

Although the coffee is sweet, the staff are not. I typically do not assume baristas are going to be bubbly. however, there is a difference between reserved and rude. I have experienced abrasive questions, such as "what are you even trying to order." This morning the person did not answer the drive thru at all. I waited for at least 3 minutes in -8 and then another 5 minutes at the window. I even downloaded the app thinking it might be a speaker problem. just for the person to respond, "it's too cold for me to take orders here, drive around." yeah, I know it's cold, I have been sitting out here for 10 minutes. read more

If I could give zero stars I would - Went through the drive through and ordered a medium iced caramel latte and the barista that handed me my drink filled it so full it was spilling all over outside of the cup onto my hands and my car- made a sticky mess and she didn't even offer me napkins or to remake my drink after she saw it spilling all over me!!
