The service was great! Attentive, friendly and helpful in choosing what is the best thing to have, while also explaining how the restaurant and menu works. Now time for the food! I got a basic diner coffee since that had unlimited refills so obviously I had to pick that out. Unfortunately for most readers what I ordered might not be available since I got the special. I'll call it the "What Came First? Waffles" it's chicken and waffles with a two eggs scrambled with gruyere cheese on top with hot honey. It was delicious. The breading on the chicken was the highlight and I feel like it's the same batter used for the waffles giving a nice contrast between sweet and savory, and I feel like I could taste a hint of cayenne or chili pepper. Pairing that with the hot honey was this great fresh tasting blend!! The overall experience was pleasant and I would go back. Looking at the full menu it's small, which is not a bad thing, but does not give you a lot of choices like most breakfast spots. I would love to go back and stuff my face with another option from the menu.

You quickly ordered at the bar and before you knew it, it was being delivered to your table! Patio is smoke & pet friendly... with that being said, if you're not huge on cigarette smoke, be prepared to move tables or contemplate coming. I'm not a huge fan of being able to smell or taste smoke so close to me while eating but we just loved a table over and it was a good distance to not let it ruin our time. Definitely go check out this local small business to enjoy the food, drinks and ambiance! I definitely want to go back closer to fall to enjoy the cool air in that patio!

The brunch dishes look amazing too. My only small complaint was that initial service was a bit sluggish when we first sat down, taking almost fifteen minutes just to get water and take our drink order, and my side of fries came out pretty limp and inconsistent compared to how crispy the tots were. Once the meal got moving though, the chill vibe and tasty food made it a really solid lunch overall. the standout comfort food and the super laid-back environment are the absolute best parts about this place.
