Was headed to the in-laws in the north metro, and needed a caffeine surge! Saw the name of this…read morespot and knew I had to stop! Parking available in the shared business lot out front, but it was VERY busy on this Sunday afternoon! The interior of this spot is one for the senses: colorful walls, random knick knacks, plants, and plenty of coffee-sipping patrons. While it was a LOT of stimulation, I loved every bit of it. I was so happy to see so much support for this local spot! The servers were so friendly and helpful during my order and pick up process! Incredibly LGBTQ+ friendly. I HAD to go with the Go Bananas option on my iced latte, their proprietary blend of banana, vanilla, and hazelnut that leaves you with the most beautiful flavor! I also appreciated that they have a layered iced latte option...with the shot on top! This spot definitely is one of my favorite hidden gems from the last few years, and might crack into the top five coffee spots in the Cities for me! A MUST VISIT!

What a darling breakfast spot in downtown Robbinsdale! This is CLEARLY a local favorite for many…read more We were in the area and wanted a quick breakfast, so stopped in. Note: this is inside Wicked Wort brewery now! It's a HUGE space, which is honestly nice because there's always seating available. Great use of shared space. Has an industrial feel to it with the exposed ceiling and dark wood elements. Service was great and helpful! Very friendly, neighborhood vibes. The barista knew most of the people ordering after us by name AND order - you can tell a lot of people come here often. Quite a large retired and elderly population came here for breakfast on the day we visited. Prices are very affordable for breakfast! We got a burrito and burrito bowl for $8-9 each. You can't get hardly anything for under $10 these days! Latte prices were more standard, but we got specialty items. These weren't our faves: the vanilla bean latte was quite sweet, and my peppermint matcha didn't taste much of peppermint (and I'm not sure they're using very good quality matcha). But our breakfast more than made up for it! Food was out quickly, and the rest of their lunch menu (and ice cream) looked great too.

I happened to be off work today, so I decided to visit this coffee shop again for a late breakfast,…read moresince I remembered that the sign on their sandwich board said they serve breakfast until 2pm! I was hungry so I decided to get the burrito bowl with sausage, and an oatmilk latte again. So good! Oh, and the price again, is a steal, for just $14.00. On the way out, I wanted to get dessert and got the cookies for 2 for $1 and a black drip coffee to go! Yummy! I LOVE this place!

This coffee place I've had my eye on for a while and it did not disappoint. @qamariacoffeemn was such a tasty treat and warm welcoming atmosphere to be in while there's so much tension in our state. Iced and Hot Pistachio Lattes Pistachio Baklava Biscoff Milk Cake I'm a pistachio fan so I loved my iced latte and baklava. I will be back in the future for both. I now addicted and that's okay :) The strawberries were a little pricey in my opinion, but they were fresh, high quality, and really delicious -- so still worth trying. Parking can be a bit tight, but if you loop around once or twice, a spot usually opens up. They also provide buzzers to let you know when your order is ready, which makes the wait easy and convenient. Overall, a great spot I'd come back to.

Especially since the cafe is music themed with cute coasters inspired by vinyls and the cafe itself is the ambiance of an old school studio. Service is relaxed and friendly and the drinks came out nice and pretty. My Brown Sugar Banana Latte which I got cold tasted very faintly of banana and more of brown sugar which was a little disappointing, but my partner's sweet potato latte was very enjoyable served hot. Both drinks were on the sweeter side which is fine but not my preference. Would I go back? Probably not, but I can see someone who enjoys their coffee sweet to go out of their way to Get Down Coffee.

The Brown Sugar Banana Latte is my favorite, I almost always get that. I have tried the Blueberry Hill Iced Tea as well, which was good. It says drive thru, but there was nobody serving at the drive thru when we tried to go there. There is some indoor seating, maybe 10 tables or so. It was not super busy when we were there, but it was after what I would consider the Sunday rush. Service was quick and polite. Iced Cold press with heavy cream (you could also have it with half and half) - very good, good coffee flavor Hot Vanilla latte - they only had three sugar-free options, caramel, raspberry, and one other I can't remember, so I went with regular Vanilla. It was very good. The first couple of sips were very sweet, I think because they didn't mix it well so all of the vanilla syrup was sitting on top. Once I got it mixed in it was much better. The temperature was good, it was quite hot, but not so much that it burned my mouth. Overall a good experience, we will be back. The only reason for four stars instead of five is because the drive thru wasn't open.
